Extremely hot room. The ac ran for 6 hours to bring the room from 32 to 28. Wasn't a good night. Pay Breakfast with gold Parking is bloody expensive.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Es hat eine interessante Architektur mit einem Palmengarten im Innenhof. Zimmer zur Gartenseite haben einen tollen Blick, in den oberen Etagen mit Blick auf die Alpen. Sehr freundliches und professionelles Personal.
Für den Zimmerpreis war die Dusche weit unter Standard. Sie war integriert in eine konventionelle Badewanne. Der Abflussdeckel befand sich im Bereich der Stehfläche vor der Brausestange, so dass man den Ablauf beim Duschen mit den Füßen zudrückte. Für große Menschen war die Brause-Haltestange viel zu niedrig, so dass man die Brause während des Duschens mit der Hand festhalten musste. Ablageflächen in der Dusche fehlten.

Très mauvaise nuit, je suis venue en été, il faisait plus de 32 degrés dehors. Selon une « règle lausannoise », la climatisation ne s’allume qu’au dessus d’un certain degrés, selon une règles de -5 degrés en fonction de la température externe. Donc finalement je n’ai pas eu de climatisation, je me suis réveillée en sueur, une nuit durant laquelle j’ai mal dormi. En sachant que le lendemain j’avais une formation professionnelle, une horreur. Rien que pour cela, je ne recommande pas l’établissement. Le second point est le personnel qui tire la tronche, on voit qu’ils n’ont pas envie de s’occuper de nous, la personne a pris tout son temps à venir. Pas de bonjour, rien. Le sourire ils ne connaissent pas ici.

Am ersten Abend hatten wir Zigarettenstummel im Zimmer auf dem Fenstersims und es roch nach Zigarette, nachher hat man das Zimmer anscheinend nochmals gereinigt. Am zweiten Abend haben wir dann noch viele grosse Essenskrümel am Fenster beim Vorhang entdeckt, ohne dass wir jemals im Zimmer gegessen haben.

The staff in the bar & restaurant were rude. The breakfast was awful and I would have liked a refund to be honest, it was dry pastries, cheese and when I went to get a coffee from the self-service machine a waitress yelled at me in french.

Check-in dauerte 45 Min. Trotz grossem Kunden-Andrang am Samstag nach 16 Uhr, war nur 1 etwas überforderter Mitarbeiter, der sein Bestes versuchte, am Empfangsschalter eingeteilt.

Supprimer les chambres, dont l'intérieur est vu par les personnes empruntant le couloir d'accès (au 5ème étage). C'est inadmissible du point de vue de l'intimité, il faut tirer les rideaux et plonger la chambre dans le noir pour garder son intimité !!!!

Das Einchecken am Automaten war nach der Anfahrt aufwändig. Innen an der Rezeption saßen zwei Damen und hatten nichts zu tun. Eine Mitarbeiterin war sehr unangenehm. Das Zimmer hatte auf beiden Seiten komplett Fenster. Wir konnten die dicken Gardinen nicht aufziehen weil man sonst vom Flur aus in das Zimmer sehen konnte. Deshalb konnten wir nur mit geschlossenen Gardinen bei Licht sitzen. Kühlschrank kühlte kaum. Klimaanlage war nicht zu regulieren.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Hotel location within a few minute walk from the main train station is perfectly suited for train travelers. Our room was on one of the top floors, with a nice view on the inner garden. It was huge, clean, quiet and very comfortable. The air condition kept it cool; the fridge was useful for storing fresh berries and fruit available in the Co-op by the train station. Like all Swiss hotels, the hotel reception gives you a Guest Travel card with free access to all public transportation, museum entrance, etc. We purchased a breakfast on our last day, it was fine. In terms of food, I would highly recommend the peaceful and relaxed Tibits vegetarian buffet/cafeteria by the train station. We loved food there so much, we used it all the time, at the expense of other cafes/ restaurants. And it definitely saves you money in pricy Switzerland.
