Im afraid it was just too noisy from the live music underneath us. Once this stopped at about 11pm but there was a further hour of banging and clearing up, involving scraping of tables and chairs. Our neighbour continued to come and go banging the door frequently until really late. I had an awful sleep I'm afraid despite using the complementary ear plugs.. I had requested a quiet room- perhaps if we had been on the floor above ours, it may have been different. Saying this, though, my husband slept through everything!

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Jacqueline, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She gave us great recommendations that made our time in Kinsale more special. The rooms are very clean and well-appointed, and she generously moved us to an upgraded room on our second night because she had the availability. Highly recommend!
The first room we stayed in was a bit noisy in the evening because of the bar downstairs, but it was manageable and wouldn't preclude me from staying there again.

The area was very loud from the pub below, we were warned about it before our stay. The earplugs were a nice touch. Fine for one night however I don't think I could do more than one.

The room was tiny and much too small for a double. The bed was a queen/ small double. There literally was no space to move or put your things down. The room was very stuffy and despite the fan provided, was too warm. The room would be okay as a single but much too small for two. The room description does say 3m2, but I thought that was a mistake.

Ruido, relación calidad precio, no tiene recepción au quw sí te indican como acceder claramente, no tiene parking y en la zona es un poco complicado aparcar.

Instead the shower/toilet room was across the hall and was clean with an excellent shower. Check the description if you want a room with an en-suite.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026The location is right in the centre of Kinsale so it's close to everything, the rooms are clean and access is really easy and simple for check in. Nice decor, modern and appealing. Beds comfy, rooms had what you needed, there's a fan in the wardrobe if you got too hot.
The pub downstairs has live music on in the evening, I don't mind at all, I made sure the window was closed and they finished around 11:30pm, so expect that you are in the centre of town and it's touristy, so there is music to be expected from the pub, it didn't bother me at all. I stayed in a room for one person, my bathroom was across the hall, so if you're not keen to be seen in your pyjamas in the morning, you may want to book an en-suite.

The noise level was awful. I cancelled the second night and the owner refused to refund. I only cancelled due to the noise level. I complained to booking.com, but they did not advocate to me. Simply, emailed the owner and told me to call them if owner did not respond. The owner failed to respond.

Eigenlijk niets, maar als lange, grote Nederlanders was het bed vrij smal en kort.

Inoltre era tutto molto pulito e Jacqueline è una persona squisita! Poi la posizione è eccellente, nel centro della città che è deliziosa!
La parte delle scale non fa un ottimo odore.

Room was like an oven—we both sweated in separate beds throughout the night with the windows open. The bar downstairs was so loud till late at night (literally outside the window). The WiFi name provided didn’t exist so zero internet availability. Room was about the size of a large closet for two people. Embarrassing and regretful.
