The location is perfect (short walk to a less busy entrance to the park) and the views from the property are beautiful. Staff are attentive, warm and helpful. Food is amazing! The room was very comfortable.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, to the extent of helping plan our itinerary around the park and assisting with booking all the tickets we needed. The staff are also english accomodating which was fantastic. The hotel is also close to the park's entrance which was very convenient. Overall, extremely satisfied with the service provided and would definitely recommend!

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Mike, der uns sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit zur Seite stand. Er hat uns nicht nur während unseres Aufenthalts unterstützt, sondern uns auch bei der Planung unseres Besuchs im Nationalpark tolle Tipps gegeben. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit und die herzliche Unterstützung! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Lo staff è stato eccezionale: sempre gentilissimo, disponibile e molto chiaro nel darci tutte le informazioni sui luoghi da visitare, sugli ingressi del parco e su come organizzare al meglio le giornate. La camera era molto bella, pulita e ben curata, e noi abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la jacuzzi privata. La posizione è ottima per raggiungere uno degli ingressi del parco e, per gli altri punti, basta spostarsi in macchina senza particolari difficoltà. Anche la colazione era molto buona. La vista dalla struttura e dalla piscina è davvero spettacolare.

L’unico vero punto debole, e il motivo per cui per noi non è stata un’esperienza da 10, riguarda la parte esterna. Nelle foto la piscina panoramica viene giustamente presentata come uno dei punti forti della struttura, ma dal vivo ci è sembrata un po’ trascurata rispetto alle aspettative. La piscina, in particolare il fondo e alcune zone circostanti, avrebbe bisogno di una pulizia e di una manutenzione più accurata, così come alcuni elementi e arredi esterni. Considerando il livello e il prezzo della struttura, ci aspettavamo una maggiore cura di questa parte. È un vero peccato, perché con una manutenzione migliore la zona piscina potrebbe essere davvero eccezionale.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Pandora’s Hilltop House Resort. Our room was spacious, spotless, and featured an exceptional view that made every morning special. A very special thanks goes to Cici! She was an incredible host: extremely kind, helpful, and always available. She organized everything flawlessly for us—from airport pick-up and train station transfers to ticket bookings for all the major attractions (Tianmen Mountain, National Forest Park, Grand Canyon) and local activities like a fantastic massage and the 72 Wonders Tower visit. Thanks to Cici and the hotel team, our trip to Zhangjiajie was smooth, stress-free, and truly memorable.

Amazing staff and super helpful! We only spent two days in Zhangjiajie as part of a longer trip travelling around and the team really helped us make the most of it. We loved the cat and dog and also appreciated that the restaurant helped us with veggie options.

The breakfast buffet was great, good mix of foods, dinner in the evening was nice too. The rooms were clean and well equipped with toiletries etc. The pool and pool bar area were beautiful and we had some nice cocktails made. The dog is very lovely. Lily was most helpful at planning our various excursions to the national park (middle gate entrance is only 10mins walk away down the hill), Grand Canyon, and Tianmen mountain. She was very active on WeChat for any of our needs. We would stay here again!

El personal del alojamiento nos hizo sentir como en casa. Vinieron a recogernos al aeropuerto (aprox. 45min de trayecto) y llegamos al alojamiento pasada la medianoche, donde Nick nos atendió sin mirar el reloj. Nos organizó y explicó la ruta completa que debíamos seguir al día siguiente así como lo hizo también el resto de los días de nuestra estancia. Desde el alojamiento nos compraron las entradas al Parque Nacional de Zhangjiajie, está a pocos minutos andando de la Middle Gate. Repetiríamos sin duda, alojamiento que aconsejaremos a nuestros conocidos.

Для большой компании из 23 человек организация поездки была безупречной: нас встретили прямо в аэропорту, избавив от необходимости искать транспорт с багажом и детьми. Вся логистика внутри региона — трансферы к разным входам в парк, помощь с билетами и навигацией — была полностью взята на себя принимающей стороной. Хозяин учел абсолютно все пожелания группы такого масштаба, что позволило взрослым отдыхать, а не заниматься организационными вопросами. Размещение превзошло ожидания. Номера просторные, идеально чистые, оформлены в современном стиле с использованием натурального дерева. Кровати удобные, постельное белье свежее. Но главное достоинство — это панорамное остекление. Вид из номеров действительно потрясающий. Ресторан при отеле стал отдельным открытием. После целого дня ходьбы по подвесным мостам и стеклянным тропам возвращаться сюда было настоящим удовольствием. Еда вкусная, порции большие. Персонал заранее учитывал предпочтения большой компании, благодаря чему подача блюд была быстрой и организованной.

Quello che fa davvero la differenza però è il personale: gentilezza, cordialità e professionalità dal primo all'ultimo giorno.Sempre pronti ad aiutarci con prenotazioni e consigli, con un supporto continuo e mai invadente ma soprattutto ringraziamo Cici che ci ha aiutato sempre su tutto fino all’ultimo con il sorriso! Very cozy facilities and incredibly welcoming service. The staff explained everything we needed to know for visiting the parks the following day and even provided us with some medicine for a cold. The restaurant was excellent—we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. Everyone on the team was extremely kind and helpful, and Nick in particular went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed.

Het is een heel gezellig klein hotel. Het hele personeel is super behulpzaam. Ze hebben alles voor ons geboekt en geregeld, zo fijn! Niks was hun te veel. De ligging is heerlijk! Zeker na een dag in de drukke parken kom je tot rust met een lekker drankje bij het zwembad. Ontbijt en avondeten zijn prima in het hotel. In 15 min met de taxi ben je in Wulingyuan, een gezellige stad met veel winkels en restaurants.

The staff were incredibly helpful in sorting out our itineraries for exploring the Zhangjiajie scenic area. They purchased tickets on our behalf prior to arrival (and did not even demand upfront payment), walked us through the routes we needed to take once we arrived, and even chartered minibuses at a very reasonable cost to fit all of our party and luggage in. Special shout out to Nick who handled our trip!

The location is perfect for a visit at the national park. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff (most of them) are helpful.

For a hotel with the rate they ask the food was really bad. The location is rather far away from the city (does not have to be a problem) but the restaurant at the hotel was the worse we had in a month China. With their rate and booking 5 star rating it is unacceptable to serve a supermarket (frozen) underbaked pizza for 15 dollar. We actually laughed. We gave the feedback also at the hotel but nobody seemed to care. The pizza is an example, we tried more and it was not good. The Chinese menu is not much better. Breakfast is mostly Chinese. For us it was not worth the price. Would not recommend.

Erg mooie locatie, midden in de bergen/natuur, leuk straatje met paar restaurants in de buurt. Wij vonden de rust heerlijk. In 10 minuten loop je naar de ingang van het park (middle gate). Uitzicht vanaf zwembad was top en cocktails waren lekker!

Will ensured we had all the tickets well in advance, the car waiting as soon as we landed, the entire team waiting to greet you as soon as you enter, the rooms were perfect. As vegetarians, we were fully looked after and had plenty of delicious options at breakfast and during meal times. The customer service exceeds expectation. It truly felt like a home away from home. While the property itself is stunning, with beautiful spaces and breathtaking views, the true highlight is the people. Will and his team are what make this place so special. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care created an unforgettable experience. What a truly memorable stay! If we are ever in Zhangjiajie again, I know where we will be staying.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Pandora's. The genuine hospitality of the staff is remarkable. Everyone was so kind, especially Will, who patiently and generously explained all the practical details about visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The views from the outside pool are spectacular. Do try a session in the massage chair, which is free of charge. Also, order a cold bottle of Zhangjiajie beer after a hot day in the mountains.

The views all around the hotel are amazing, how helpful and friendly the staff are to planning your routes to creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Could not recommend this resort enough. The service was the best we have ever had at any stay. Lily helped us plan our excursions from even before we landed in China, and tailored them exactly for our schedule and preferences. She was always a text away when we needed any help with anything at all during our stay. She made our time here go by so easily, it felt like a home away from home. The location is very close to the National park, and an easy Didi away from all the other top spots. Our room was everything we expected, maintained very well and very modern, and it had a great view of the mountains. Finally, having the restaurant right here in the resort was amazing as we could wind down after our excursions during the day, and only have to walk downstairs for great service and Chinese food. They even accommodated my wife who is vegetarian very easily. I will be recommending this resort to everyone who comes to this city, and if we return we will definitely stay here again.

There is also a laundry room, which was very convenient during our stay. A special thank you to Cici! Amazing hotel Attention to detail Very helpful with planning your days out, provides maps which helped significantly

The hotel is located in the village, 10-15 minutes walk from the Middle Gate, which is the less crowded Gate and the closest one to the Bailong elevator. Be aware that the village is quiet and if you want some attractions, you have to go by taxi (but after overcrowded Chinese cities we really enjoyed a quiet peaceful village). The staff is super friendly, Cici is the best host ever - helped us to make routes depending on crowds and weather conditions, gave us a million useful advises and I have never met such a nice receptionist ever. The breakfast is limited, but you can find something. We had a beautiful terrace with the mountain view, it is a pity the weather was not good enough to enjoy it. Highly recommend!

We had no door in the shower - we saw the mounting, but no door, that is why it was cold in the bathroom. The bath tube is not attached good - it was moving.

The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Nick. Nick is not only friendly but very knowledgeable in giving good recommendations and directions to explore the attractions. This has made our trip even more enjoyable !

This is a lovely place to stay and only a few minutes walk to one of the gates to the park. The staff is so helpful and well put together plans to see all 3 attractions in the area and help purchase the tickets. Walking down the road in the evening is beautiful. Breakfast is good. It was very easy to get Didis to go the Tianmen Mountain and to the Grand Canyon. I would stay here again.

There is not an elevator but the staff is very helpful with bags.

The accommodation has a very family-oriented, homely atmosphere that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly helpful in assisting us with organising three days of tours, providing excellent recommendations and making the whole process easy and stress-free. They helped set up a WeChat group that we could use to communicate with them and they were always very quick to respond. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which was absolutely delicious.

The hotel has lots of great facilities - outdoor pool, cafe, restaurant, cosy seating area with fireplace and a pool and ping pong table. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a lovely view over the mountains. The staff went above and beyond, very friendly and helpful, although not all spoke good English, they were keen to help, and used translating apps when needed. They kindly arranged for a taxi to drop us at the train station when we left. We wanted to buy some tea to take home and they made many different teas for us to try and explained about each one, which was lovely. The restaurant has both Chinese and some basic western options - pizza, pasta etc. It was nice to have the option of eating in when we’d had a long day out. It was a little more expensive than local restaurants but cheaper than other western restaurants we went to in China. Breakfast was also good, with both Chinese and western options. Note there is no lift, but staff kindly helped with carrying luggage.

Unsurprisingly as you are in the forest, there are quite a few insects/mosquitos. Although I appreciate you cant prevent this, I think the hotel could do a bit more - e.g the room windows do have bug nets but when we arrived both our window and bug net were open (appreciate this may have been a one off accident). Also there were quite a few bugs in the restaurant area. The bathroom was a little less modern than in pictures but was still clean and functional.

We had an amazing stay. Clean and spacious rooms. Will was very helpful and created a whole two day itinerary for us. I highly recommend the hotel.

The dinner area of the hotel could be a bit more charming

L'hotel è di recente costruzione, la camera era ampia ma piuttosto fredda.

L'indirizzo che appare sulla prenotazione di Booking non è esatto e neppure quello in cinese che avevo richiesto alla struttura. Mi trovavo a circa 300 km da lì e non riuscivo in alcun modo a prenotare un Didi per raggiungere l'hotel. Ho chiesto aiuto ad una receptionist di un'attrazione di Yichang che ha parlato in cinese con l'hotel ma neppure a questa è stato dato l'indirizzo esatto che successivamente ho scoperto essere totalmente un altro. Alla luce di tutto questo ho raggiunto con un taxi la stazione di Zhangagjè a tarda notte intimando alla persona alla reception di darci modo di arrivare altrimenti sarei andata ad alloggiare da un altra parte. Non ho proprio capito il perchè di questo comportamento anche perchè nelle istruzioni successive circa le escursioni in zona la stessa persona è stata invece collaborativa ed esauriente. Il ristorante non è per nulla eccezionale e neppure la colazione. Si trova a quasi un km dal parco ed arrivarci a piedi non è facile. Non è conforme alle foto.

Sehr freundliches Personal, es wirkt sehr familiär. Sie haben uns gleich nach der Ankunft Routen für den National Park vorgeschlagen und uns ticket ein ticket für das middle gate gebucht. Der großteil des personals kann solides englisch. Ich kann es sehr weiterempfehlen.

Интерьер просто космос — всё очень стильное, аккуратное и продумано до мелочей. Честно, этот отель вообще не похож на типичный китайский отель. Скорее создаётся ощущение дорогого европейского бутик-отеля уровня лучших отелей Лондона. Отдельно хочется отметить расположение — горы, тишина, свежий воздух и невероятная атмосфера полного отдыха и уединения. Рай для интровертов. Здесь действительно можно перезагрузиться и насладиться природой. В лаунж-зоне есть настоящий функционирующий камин, и это вообще отдельная любовь. Вечером там создаётся очень уютный, тёплый и расслабляющий вайб — хочется просто сидеть, отдыхать и наслаждаться атмосферой. Персонал просто замечательный — очень приветливые, внимательные и профессиональные люди. Любые вопросы и просьбы решались моментально. Нам помогли организовать тур, нашли отличного гида, и всё работало чётко как часы. Однозначно рекомендую этот отель всем, кто хочет получить не просто ночёвку, а настоящий красивый опыт и атмосферу. Очень классное место, куда хочется вернуться снова.

The hotel has excellent staff and the location is fantastic, just a 10 minute walk from the gate to the park. I also loved that they had a free laundry service. We also loved the free pick up service!

Our room overlooked the parking lot which was less than ideal but overall I'd still recommend the hotel.

Zhangjiajie is echt schitterend. Will heeft ons heel goed geholpen om een goed plan te maken want er is ontzettend veel te zien en te doen. Ook het andere personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De kamers zijn ruim en de bedden liggen lekker.

Het ontbijt had beter gekund, er was wel veel keuze. Een verwarmd zwembad zou helemaal top zijn geweest, want het was nu te fris voor ons.

L’emplacement la vue la taille de la chambre, les conseils du personnel, la possibilité de laver son linge. Le personnel toujours aux petits soins.

Le Washlet ne fonctionnait pas, échantillon en guise de gel, douche et de shampooing limité quand on est deux personnes dans la chambre, le petit déjeuner, très limité plutôt accès oriental, le dîner, je préfère ne pas en parler.

Nos encantó alojarnos allí! Es un hotel precioso y con un personal muy muy amable. Nos ayudaron en absolutamente todo, pudimos reservar las excursiones a través de ellos y, además, te explicaban con todo detalle cómo hacer tu excursión cada día con el mapa. Will fue encantador con nosotros, nos dio su número y nos ayudó en muchas ocasiones, incluso le llamamos un día porque tuvimos un problema con el transporte para volver y habló él mismo con el transportista. Además, nos llevaron al aeropuerto el día de vuelta gratis. Muy muy recomendado y en una ubicación increíble! Además, un día cenamos en el hotel y la comida estaba deliciosa

Hotel in ottima posizione a 10 minuti a piedi dal Middle Gate del parco nazionale. L’host Will (che parla inglese!) è stato disponibilissimo, ci ha suggerito gli itinerari da percorrere nel parco e ha prenotato i biglietti di ingresso per noi. Disponibile in struttura anche la cena, con ottimi piatti locali

The hotel feels like a genuine family-run place, with the children managing the front office in a friendly and helpful way, while the parents take care of things behind the scenes. This creates a relaxed, home-like atmosphere where it’s easy to spend time in the common areas. There are plenty of facilities to use, including a breakfast buffet, a pool overlooking the mountains with an attached café, a pool table, a fireplace with music, and a very comfortable massage chair. Dinner is also available in the evening, which is convenient since there aren’t many restaurants nearby. The room is spacious, clean, and nicely designed, with a bathtub in the room and a balcony overlooking the well-known mountain pillars. The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from one of the park entrances, making it easy to get into the park in the morning.

It was wonderful. The staff and service was exceptional. Especially a special shout-out to our personal "butler", Nick, who even thoroughly provided us an overview of what and how to visit the mountains/attractions optimally. He also proactively sent us information and helped us reserve our tickets. We were also able to check in at a late time and everyone was really kind and helpful, whenever we had a question. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was good and the surroundings were amazing. There is a lot of nature close around, including a rice field and a "secret" bamboo forest (you may come across the entrance on your right when you walk from the accommodation to the Middle Gate). There are also great restaurants in the neigbourhood and, importantly, it's like an 8-minute walk to the Middle Gate of the avatar mountains park.

Nothing really. Do keep in mind you are a bit dependent on using a car if you want to reach the area, but the accommodation kindly picked us up at the train station.
