Excellent breakfast every morning, with cooked and continental both available together. A great start of the day.

Nice breakfast and very hospitable host. Flexible with breakfast requests. I left my walking shoes and the host kindly returned them by post despite a long journey to their nearest post office. This was greatly appreciated.

Chambre minuscule avec un plafond très bas et une salle de bain avec un plafond mansardé qui ne permet pas de se tenir debout. Personnel froid et le petit déjeuner à une heure fixe car pas assez de place pour tous les hôtes.

Ein kostenloser Parkplatz stand am Haus zur Verfügung. Eine Tee-Station mit Wasserkocher war vorhanden.

Der Fernseher ist sehr klein und steht provisorisch auf einem Bücherstapel. Das Wasser im Waschbecken läuft nur sehr langsam ab. Die Einrichtung ist zusammengewürfelt. Im Bad wurden zur Dekoration PVC-Paneele mit Fliesenaufdruck an die Wand getackert. Für das gebotene Niveau war unser Zimmer völlig überteuert.

Great location opposite the Loch. Melissa was really friendly and I enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was nice and there was yoghurts, fruits, toast available as well.

I am tall, so I found the room was a bit small in terms of height and the bathroom a bit cramped especially by the sink. I had the upstairs room. Wouldn’t say it’s a real negative but maybe something to keep in mind and could probably request a more suitable room if needed and available.

This place is unclean & not fit for purpose . The room we were given was an attic room, covered in mold, dust, peeling wallpaper, broken tiles, stains on walls, old condom wrappers & dog toys under the bed. Extension leads overloaded with various electrical devices. When I approached the landlord Paul with these problems & asked to be moved, he was rude & aggressive, telling us, we had booked that room & it is as described. He had no other vacant room. Breakfast in the dining area would have been fine if you’re happy to sit looking at the cobwebs, food stains on walls, filthy cutlery & crockery. All of the above rather spoiled our 3 night stay, so much so that we checked out after 2 nights. I am aware the reviews on this place are good, that’s why we booked it. I wouldn’t go near this dump

Amazing location. Very good breakfast. The owners were very nice and caring. The room was warm all the time.

Vriendelijke mensen. Bij binnenkomst werd meteen een andere kamer aangeboden, omdat ik lang ben en in onze geboekte kamer misschien niet rechtop kon staan. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Sfeervolle kamer.

Gordijn in de kamer zaten wat vlekjes op. Afwerking van de kamer heeft een hoog doe-het-zelf gehalte Drukke weg voor de deur

Very old house with too many rooms, so everything is small. If you are more than 1.85m, you won’t stand up anywhere. Isolation is poor so the room is noisy from the road and either hot or cold. Heating is not working through the night. You stop there if you have to.

Location near loch with stunning views to sunset over the Cobbler. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We have got recommendations for dinner places nearby which were very good. Breakfast was varied and served on agreed on time by the friendly host. It was a nice surprise to find old 1993 magazines about Scotland in the room, it was fun to read through them!

The main problem is the noise. The traffic on the road straight in front of the room window is heavy and the house is not sound insulated enough so you can hear trucks and motorbikes all night. Our room had very low ceiling. People over 180 cm will have problem fitting into shower with fixed shower head. The shower is a story by itself, the electric heating mounted inside the shower got me seriously worried.

Loved that it was walking distance to restaurants, loved how we were so close to the water, , the hosts were beautiful people, that were so friendly made us feel at home and having a home cooked breakfast

Melissa was there to greet us and provided us with information on what places were available to eat on the day of our arrival (Monday), and sights to see in the area. The room had wonderful views of the Loch and breakfast of fantastic, there was plenty to choose from. Thanks you Paul and Melissa for being wonderful hosts.

Die Aussicht ist super schön, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Aussicht auf den See. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas länger nicht renoviert aber alles sauber. Die Besitzerir war super nett. Im großen und ganzen für eine Nacht perfekt. P.S. für Menschen über 180 cm eher schwierig im Zimmer, im 1 OG zu sehen. Decken sind sehr niedrig

Pour le temps d'une nuit ce Bed and Breakfast répondait totalement à nos attentes pour notre roadtrip écossais. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et appréciable pour entamer une grosse journée de route. Le pub à proximité a été vraiment pratique pour le repas du soir. Les hôtes étaient accueillants et attentionnés. Le rapport qualité prix est bon, notamment par rapport aux prix des logements pour les touristes pendant cette période.

Süßes, kleines Bed and Breakfast mit viel Charme. Wir haben dort zwei Nächte verbracht und von dort aus Ausflüge gemacht. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt.

Die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz ist relativ eng und die Decken sind relativ niedrig. Wenn man über 1,85 Meter groß ist, muss man auf seinen Kopf aufpassen.

Warm welcome. Great breakfast. Great location for access to hills and mountains. Arrochar had a great restaurant nearby called Cu Mari. The village shop had enough of what we needed. There was a garage five minutes walk away. The local pub was two minutes away.

Only the shower which was a bit weak on pressure.

The view from our bedroom over the mountains was amazing. The area was great, lovely pub with great food 2 minutes walk away Melissa was a fantastic host, she was waiting to greet us when we arrived and was so friendly and welcoming. She told us about breakfast and what we would like, also the time that suited us to eat. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great.

Lovely Loch side location. Although located on busy road it wasn’t noisy. Melissa was warm and welcoming. Lovely full Scottish breakfast provided. We’re able to change rooms to downstairs which was great as we had lots of bags as cycle touring. Local recommendations provided for dinner.

Really comfortable and cosy, the host was very welcoming and the breakfast was really nice with loads of options! Room and bathroom were clean and had a lovely view over the loch. Location is good, close to the hiking trails and pubs/restaurants in Arrochar.

It was a comfortable stay, we had a lake view room, and it was so pretty. We were blessed with good weather too.

Delightful bed and breakfast near Loch Lomond in Scotland

Unfortunately we were not able to complete our stay so didn't sleep there or have breakfast. The view from the bedroom was nice and Melissa the host was very friendly at check in and amenable when we had to leave.

As already said we had to leave a couple of hours after to check in due to an unresolveable problem with the room. I was very upset at the response by the owner's husband when I had to speak to him about the issue in the room. He was very rude, aggressive, dismissive, unhelpful and very unprofessional. Melissa was completely opposite.

Location was fabulous. Melissa was an exceptional host. Very kind, chatty and cheerful. Fantastic customer service.

Mellisa was very nice and attentive. She was very apologetic about the roadworks underway until midnight outside the property, although this was in no way her fault.

The place was cold, despite the radiators blasting it out, so I think probably an insulation issue. The bed was not very comfortable. The decor was a bit tired. Though Melissa was very attentive and really nice, her partner was pretty sullen and disinterested when approached for something at breakfast.

Melissa was very welcoming and accommodating. The bed was comfy and the views from the window across the lake into the Arrochar Alps were stunning. The walk to the B&B from the train station along the hill path was dreamy and there was also a bus stop with access to and from Glasgow with West Coast Motors. Many munros are accessible on foot from the B&B within a winter's day.

West Coast Motors, the bus company that took us from Arrochar to Glasgow, aren't listed on Google Maps, so check their timetable independently when journey planning

A proper b&b: great brekkie, great location and great price. Staff were also very welcoming and accommodating (the host even gave me a protein snickers to see me off on my way up the hill!). Highly recommend!
