The location was awesome and the staff were really nice.

The toilets were a little dated but clean.

Breakfast was good, with tasty food and a decent variety on offer. Two things would improve the experience, though. Tables need to be cleared promptly as guests finish and leave, since on several mornings this prevented others from taking their preferred table. The staff could also be quicker in replenishing dishes once they run out. The coffee machine was out of order for four of my five nights, although the staff did provide filter coffee on request, and none of this takes away from the fact that the food itself was good and the service willing.

Very little, and the overall experience was pleasant. Brighter lighting in the washroom would also improve the experience.

Les prises électriques sont cassés du coté droite du lit qui est inacceptable. Dans la douche le sol glissait et ma rendu difficile le soir.

Hotel Reception staffs absolutely unprofessional.. While i am booking , i have requested We have requested for hard mattress due to my back ache. But they have not organized for it. When I request at the room they took almost 2 hours talken after making requests to many ..None of them didnt care. finally i told them i am going to xheck out and move for another better hotel.. After that they brought on PLYWOOD AND KEPT ON THE BOARD AND COVERED WITH BED SPREAD… and o couldn’t sleep on the plywood.i could not sleep at all.. Like that Room service also the same kind of issues. The hotel charged for 13,500 plus Rs. Bit its not worth dor 1500 Rs. The management has to coorct this..

Clean, and elegantly furnished comfortable rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant stay!

Busy Location in the heart of the town, criwded, heavy traffic. But we were aware of these aspects while booking .

- Bruyant du au bruit venu de l'extérieur. Proche mosquée et bruit de la ville important. - Climatisation trop froide quand on sortait de la chambre car préréglé pour se remettre en route à 20 °C. Gros choc thermique en rentrant dans la chambre. Heureusement tablette simple à utiliser mais le mal est fait. - La vue pas terrible sur un parking auto.

Breakfast area is crowded with very little help from staff. You need to wait for 30 minutes before you get table. While checking in the rooms were not ready and we waited till 1730 hrs. We filed a complaint with booking.com with no result. It was waste of time with full payment.

Evrything. 1. Check in should be quicker. rooms should be ready as per declared hotel policies. 2. Breakfast should not have so much waiting period 3. There should be more items in the breakfast. 4. Items should be available for breakfast. We do not visit the breakfast area to read "Labels"

Tastefully decorated rooms. Very clean. Breakfast was delish. When we ran into a problem with our luggage at Pondicherry airport, the staff, especially Divya, the duty manager, made arrangements to help us out. Staff are pleasant, courteous and well trained.

Excellent facilities. Warm and cordial staff. Special mention for Payel Mondal and Divya, who were extremely courteous. Apologies I don't recollect all the names of the staff members. The way every staff member greets every time they see you is nice. Thumbs up and 5 stars. Perfect place for the family. I am sure the swimming pool would have been nice, I missed checking and using that. Great breakfast buffet spread - top notch quality and great variety!! Aiklida at the 1st floor restaurant took good care of us during the buffet breakfast.

Location is good with nearness to rock beach, white town and an amazing Ganesh Temple, but it was way too crowded, may be because it was Saturday night, but still. Restaurant at the terrace was nice with large fans keeping one cool, but the food was unbelievably overpriced, 700 INR for 5 puny little dumplings was beyond my understanding. The veg soup quantity priced at 350 INR left much to be desired. The main manager at the restaurant made us wait for 15 mins to come and take the order.. the staff went past by us, not even noticing us. It did sour the experience during dinner time. So, my advice will be to go for a great stay, pay through the nose if you want to have lunch and dinner, but enjoy the complimentary breakfast that came with the package.

Le service est totalement démotivé , le staff ne note pas les demandes et les suit pas, il faut constamment relancer. Le petit déjeuner est le chaos il semble que ce soit la haute saison aka we de Pâques.

Very modern hotel with excellent facilities and a spacious, comfortable room. We loved the roof top restaurant which served the most amazing Pan Asian food. Great location for exploring Puducherry.

The ground floor restaurant gets extremely busy at breakfast time.

The restaurant service. There is a language problem. They seem to be inexperienced. Ms. Shabda was the only one who seemed to know what service means It would have been good if Mr. Raghul spoke to customers since he was sitting in the restaurant and observing things

very large rooms, good sound isolation (although you hear the city noise a bit and one should avoid the side of the mosque..). Excellent shower. Most of the staff was very friendly, both in restaurants and at reception. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed for 6 nights. After 3 nights we asked another room to be away from the mosque and construction work presently taking place at that side also. It was immediately accepted with a smile .

There was no garden or so to stay outside but that is probably true for other hotels in the city as well

The rates were just tooooo high for pondicherry considering its not like among the top visited places like rajasthan goa or kerala..i mean except for the hotel din find anything else there ofcourse the auroville was great and their concept of shared living was unique and good but apart from that i started thinking why did i pay around 2lakhs just for two nights??

Wonderful reception when arriving at the hotel, we were presented with a drink and a shell necklace which was actually very nice. Wi fi very good. Breakfast choice good. Staff amazing. Rooms clean, housekeeping excellent. Large practical bathroom with a great shower. Best hotel hairdryer we have come across in India. Very well located for shops, one of the biggest department stores is just a few yards away. The rooms facing away from the mosque and street are very quiet. The terrace restaurant is lovely and the food good, Anamika who served us twice was delightful.

The hotel is in a busy area with no outside gardens so leisure is all internal. Anyone booking a room facing the Mosque should be informed beforehand. Rooms facing the mosque should be at a reduced rate due to the sleep disturbance.

I had a fantastic experience staying 2 nights with my family at this hotel. There are lots to like about this hotel: Location is amazing; very close to the promenade beach Facilities in the hotel are top notch - nice neat and clean rooms, usage of tech, ambience - all were fantastic Check in and Check out were a breeze no problem. However, what sets this hotel apart is the EXCEPTIONAL STAFF: During the happy hours, the hotel staff would engage with you via various board games. That was not a tick in the box exercise. They were genuinely engaged and creating such a joyful environment for our family and other guests Every time you left the hotel or came back, you were greeted with the same warm smiles by the staff. The hotel is small, intimate and very personable Lastly, when I was checking out early morning, I realized I had a flat tire. Rather than sending me to the nearest flat tire fixing shop, the front office staff (I forgot to note the name of the staff) changed the tires themselves. I did not even have to request them; they did this on their own. I firmly believe that when hotel staff finds joy in delighting customers, the overall experience can rarely go wrong. Residency Puducherry, thank you for the exceptional warmth and hospitality. This was my first stay at your property and I am convinced it won't be my last. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone looking for stay options in Puducherry

My watch was stolen from my room….house keeping was very bad and the staffs aren’t trained well and back ground check isn’t done properly…this is the first such incident has happen in a star hotel I had reported and it’s more than 24 hours still no action taken .
