Splendid Apartments Zürich City

Very spacious apartment - way more space than I expected, and very clean. Location is very central, close to everything. Other residents in the building are very friendly.

Arrived at 3:20pm for 3pm check-in, but unable to access property until I messaged them on booking.com. Host was quick to respond, but the uncertainty and waiting in the meantime was pretty stressful. Host should consider coordinating directly with guests regarding the arrival time, so that guests know that "3pm check-in" does not mean that there will be someone available from 3pm, and that the bar where you pick up the keys is not actually open at that time. At nighttime the bar downstairs is very noisy, but noise is ok once you close all the windows. There is no AC but a strong fan is provided.

I had to repeatedly email the property and never got a response on earlier check in since we arrived in Zürich atv8 AM. The listing on Booking.com never mentioned that we had to go pick up the key from the piano bar that’s owned by the same entity at 3 PM. Consequently, we couldn’t even drop off the luggage after arrival. I finally had to look up the ‎WhatsApp ID and message them, it took a while for her to answer. I was promised that 12 o’clock check in will be OK but when we got there, the cleaning lady wasn't there yet to clean the room and we were exhausted and still had to wait. Granted that they did make an exception to promise that 12 o’clock check in, but they did not deliver. Most hotels allow you to drop off luggage early even if you couldn’t checki in. there was no hairdryer in the room. We asked on the same day that we checked in, but didn’t get it for 24 hours. The kitchen only had one frying pan and it was all scratched up and not usable. There was no paper towel given whatsoever. And the toilet paper and bath towels were so coarse was that you could rip your skin with them. On the day we left, elevator broke. I notified them early AM in the hope that it might be repaired. No reply again. We had to carry our luggage down 4 floors. Just overall a horrible experience other than the location being central.

Die Lage war super

Es war sehr heiß, keine Klima und Fenster konnte man auf Grund der vielen Tauben draußen nicht wirklich aufmachen. Auf die Rechnung musste ich recht lange warten

Son Apartsmentos reformados cdo llegas al piso me gustó mucho las puertas del apartamento, el dueño/encargado muy amable sobre una petición q había echo. Muy cerca de todo lo esencial. Lo recomiendo

El baño, la ducha no tiene bien desagote y se complica. Algo de diseño, muchas muebles de distinto tipo sacaría los de madera y dejaría todo blanco.

Posizione, pulizia, facilità del check in

房间超级大，超级干净，位置简直好极了，离林登霍夫山特别近，在观景台看风景的时候，竟然看到了自己家的公寓，简直太兴奋了。带领入住的小哥超级专业，态度也很好。

窗帘有一些爪爪坏掉了，导致不能拉的严丝合缝。床头灯居然和顶灯开关是联动的。不能单独开。这一点有点伤脑筋。

Well located. Comfortable room. Very quiet at the back of the building. Kitchenette with coffee machine (capsules available), and fridge. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Owner/manager super friendly.

Somebody stole the remote control so I could not watch tv (no big deal but a bit annoying anyway).

Emplacement bien, chambre pas mal, assez spacieuse

Confort du lit et de la literie: horribles, drap de dessous qui râpe, oreillers plein de bosses et inconfortables, matelas mou et irrégulier. La lumière de lit ne fonctionnait pas, pas de possibilité d'ouvrir la fenêtre grand donc pas d'accès aux volets, rideaux occultants cassés, une seule serviette de bain

Fatal , la anfitriona tiene un bar abajo del hotel , todo se escucha hasta la habitación no se puede dormir tranquilo , personas tomadas hasta las 4 am tomando licor y pegando gritos . Un calor horrible , no tiene abanico ni aire acondicionado, si cierro la ventanas se ahoga uno de calor , y si las abro se escucha todo el escándalo de afuera.

No one at the property for check in, only 1 coffee cup in room. Curtains did not cover windows and bedside lights did not work

Όλα καινούρια. Σε καλή τοποθεσία. Όχι πολύ μεγάλο αλλά δεν έλειπε τίποτα!

Δυστυχώς ο/η οικοδεσπότης δεν απάντησε σε κανένα από τα μηνύματα που στείλαμε. Ως αποτέλεσμα ψάχναμε την ειδοσο και έπειτα ένα αίτημα μας δεν απαντήθηκε ποτέ. Επίσης το στρώμα του κρεβατιού είχε κλήση με αποτέλεσμα να κάνει τον ύπνο μας δύσκολο. Υπήρξε ενα περιστατικό κατά την διάρκεια της νύχτας όπου κάποιος προσπάθησε να μπει στο δωμάτιο μας(ευτυχώς η πόρτα ήταν κλειδωμένη).

La gentilezza del Personale (Monica e la signora colombiana) che dopo il check out ci ha dato la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli al bar e di riprenderli al nostro ritorno. Letto comodissimo, abbiamo dormito benissimo e posizione perfetta per visitare il centro e a 7-8 minuti dalla stazione.

Que la comunicación con la persona a cargo fue muy difícil, no había nadie que abriera cuando llegamos y tuvimos que esperar con otros huéspedes en la calle. Al final, si hubiéramos sabido que solo se podía entrar a partir de las 15, todo hubiera sido más fácil

Situation dans la ville. Propreté. La chambre est simple, très bien insonorisée et fonctionnelle .

La réception est inexistante. alors même que nous avions prévenu de notre heure d’arrivée et qu’aucune information contraire ne nous avait été donnée sur cet horaire, nous avons trouvé porte close, avons attendu 45minutes dehors et n’avons pu déposer nos bagages que grâce à 2 clients qui ont pu contacter la femme de ménage qui, obligeamment nous a accueillis. D’autres clients ont connu avec nous la même mésaventure , il faut donc que l’hôtel mette fin à cette situation.

Me dieron un código de entrada incorrecto, y no podíamos entrar, nadie con quien contactar. La recibida no fue muy correcta

Pulita, centrale e silenziosa.

No reception. Abbiamo dovuto attendere mezz’ora per poter accedere alla camera. Chiave consegnata da una addetta alle pulizie.

La grande terrasse. Appartement impeccable.

Ottima posizione e facile da trovare. Camera piccola maboerfetta per il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Quando siamo arrivati faceva caldissimo (riscaldamenti al massimo per una camera di 20 m2 circa) e la finestra dava sul cortile interno da cui arrivava un cattivo odore. In ogni caso questo è stato l'unico punto a sfavore del nostro soggiorno

Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and central train station, many restaurants, even a BK, lots of Christmas markets at the time we visited (December). Property very clean, spacious enough for a 4 day City break, small kitchen area with a two hob cooker, pod coffee machine, decent WiFi, elevator. Disabled accessibility, not needed personally, but worth noting.

Check in was from 3pm, myself and another family waiting outside for an hour, contact number went straight to voicemail message to say mailbox full, had to go through booking.com, who were very helpful

Sehr schneller check in, super aufenthalt im Splendid man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben

Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und zweckmässig. Freundliches Personal. Einchecken unkompliziert. Es fehlte die Bestätigung der Eincheckzeit. Die freundliche Putzkraft hat uns dann hereingelassen.

Der TV ging in keinem von 3 gemieteten Zimmern. In einem Zimmer fehlte der Wasserkocher. Keine Kaffeetassen, nur Espresso. Geschirrtuch und Lappen fehlen in der Küche.

Es wurde kein Frühstück offeriert. Die Lage ist perfekt und mit der Schlüsselkarte hat alles gut funktioniert.

Der Zugang zum Bett auf der einen Seite war sehr eng, vor allem nachts wenn man auf's WC gehen muss.

Fantastic location right in the heart of everything. A whole array of bars and restaurants within minutes and the train station is a mere 10 minute walk away. Lovely piano bar beneath(where you pick up the door key from). Spacious apartment with small kitchenette and very good price for its location and size

I didn't cause me any concerns but the bed quilt is too small for the double bed and there is no remote control for the TV. So if you plan to stay in and watch TV you'll be disappointed.

El check in : La dueña no estaba en el alojamiento, ni las llaves en el bar. Así que tuvimos que esperar por mas de una hora. Cobraron la tarifa de turistas a pesar de que en booking aparecía como parte del precio

It was in the city Center, very close to the train station

It was not clean. The bead sheets had blood stain and the toilet wall were dirty also the shower had mould on the edges. Looks like the person stayed before me used the kettle to make coffee, it was not washed when I wanted to use it.

Es war alles sehr sauber und neu. Das Zimmer war größer als erwartet. Ich habe mich sehr über den Wasserkocher und die Kaffeemaschine gefreut. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Check-In und Check-Out war sehr unkompliziert. Gute Lage. Freundliches Personal. Sehr gerne wieder.

Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden.

Sehr zentral gelegen, freundliches Personal beim Check-In, Lift vorhanden & praktische Schlüsselkarte. Das Bett und die Gebrauchsgegenstände/Möbel waren sauber und ordentlich.

Für ein Hotelzimmer hätte ich mir noch etwas mehr Sauberkeit im Raum allgemein gewünscht. Z.B. die Rückwand der Küchenablage, Steckdose (genutzt um das Smartphone aufzuladen) staubig-dreckig und sichtbare grosse Spinnweben an der Wand. Das Bett & die Bettwäsche waren aber in Ordnung. Mitten in der Nacht hat man bei geschlossenem Fenster Musik/Bass gehört. Nicht laut, aber doch gut hörbar. Ich schlafe gut, bin dann nach einer Weile wieder eingeschlafen. Für Personen mit leichtem Schlaf würde ich die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen.
