Monkeyland Cham island Homestay

Super Gastgeber der einem jederzeit zur Hilfe steht. Wir konnten Roller direkt bei der Unterkunft ausleihen und wurden vom Pier abgeholt. Zimmer waren sehr sauber und die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt zentral.

Chambre du rez de chaussée extrêmement calme, confortable, mais un peu sombre. Tran est adorable, présent sans s’imposer, il propose de nombreuses activités, nous avons fait le snorkeling et la pêche c’était top. Merci pour le séjour

Leuke homestay midden tussen de lokale bewoners, maar wel op loopafstand van het strand. De host helpt je overal bij en is heel vriendelijk! Kamers zijn netjes.

Thanh provided an excellent stay. No issues. The air conditioner was very powerful and the room well insulated - we were already greeting with a cool room on returning. Thanh is very response on his phone and always helpful with any requests. Provided an excellent laundry service, bike rental, and support with ferry bookings.

Not related to the owner and it did not affect us at all, but beware that for Cham island in general, the seas can be unpredictable and ferries/fast boats are often cancelled. Ensure you do not book flights near the end of your stay on Cham Island, and always have extra cash on hand. This way, you can enjoy your time on the island like us, instead of stressing about how to leave.

De supervriendelijke gastheer die met al onze plannen hielp. En ons zelfs opwachte aan de speedboot bij aankomst. Ook zijn scooters kunnen huren om met het gezin het eiland te verkennen en te gaan snorkelen en onze zonen vonden het vissen ook heel leuk.

L’hôte était extrêmement gentil et aidant. L’emplacement est parfait ! L’endroit est extrêmement propre. La chambre est grande et la douche est chaude et bonne. Je recommande assurément cet endroit !

Le seul petit point c’est que la AC ne fonctionne pas super fort, mais il y a un ventilateur. La matela est très dure également.

Home nằm trong khu dân cư ngay gần trung tâm đi bộ hay đi đâu cũng tiện. Tại hôm có cho thuê xe luôn nên tiện đi chơi. Anh chủ home chuẩn bị cho mình một chiếc xe full bình xăng đi khắp đảo thoải mái. Anh cũng chỉ dẫn cho mình nhiệt tình các điểm đến nữa.

Ben situat i l’anfitrió de 10! Habitació genial, neta i fresca. Vam llogar les motos i les ulleres d’snorkel. Ens va deixar allargar el lloguer de la moto 2h més passades les 24h sense pagar. També ens va deixar dutxar abans de marxar per treure’ns la sal.

Repetiria sense dubte.

De locatie en de host, supervriendelijk en we deden de eiland tour achter op de motorbike... een aanrader als je er geen een huurt.

De kamer is simpel maar voor de prijs helemaal prima.

Thanh was extremely helpful pointing us to all the great beaches and restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful.

After one month in Vietnam I can honestly say that this was my favourite place. The room was lovely but this is by far the best host we’ve had in the whole trip. Thành was there when our ferry arrived and took us back to the marina when we left. He was just wonderful- and had everything we needed from snorkelling gear to scooters and very reasonable prices. I hope to make it back to Cham island one day - it was the perfect experience.

We loved that our room was spotlessly clean and the air con and fan were so welcomed.

Ottima struttura, con camere spaziosissime e pulite. Due letti enormi ed un bagno super comodo. Host veramente fantastico che ci ha aiutato in tutto e per tutto. Bellissimo per nostra figlia aver trascorso momenti con la famiglia ospitante.

Than est super accueillant, il est venu nous récupérer au port et nous a aidé dans l’organisation de notre séjour sur Cham Island en passant par la réservation des billets du speedboat, l’organisation du snorkeling etc. Il est vraiment très gentil. La chambre était super propre, sans aucune hésitation je recommande de réserver chez Than. Nous avons regretté de rester qu’une seule nuit!

Friendly owner who books the boat, helps carrying luggage etc. Basic english, but he tries. We mostly appreciated the cleanliness of the homestay. The room is basic, but spotless (after a lot of dirty homestays, this was a relieve!)

Sehr netter Gastgeber und saubere Unterkunft. Wir konnten direkt nach der Ankunft am Morgen einchecken ohne einen Aufpreis bezahlen zu müssen. Außerdem konnten wir unkompliziert beim Gastgeber einen günstigen Scooter für 200 000 VDN mieten und direkt die Insel erkunden.

Logement extrêmement propre, chambre super confortable avec de l'eau chaude et une bonne air climatisée. L'emplacement est idéal dans une petite rue proche du port d'arrivée. Notre hôte était adorable. Gentil, souriant, aidant. Il nous a réservé nos billets en speedboat pour l'île et est venu nous chercher à notre arrivée. Il nous a fait de belles recommandations de plages et de restaurants. On a aussi pu louer un scooter facilement. On recommande absolument !

El personal és molt amable i t'ajuda en tot el possible, comprar billets, recomenacions... Les habitacions estan molt bé i està molt ben situat, a prop de tot.

El administrado muy servicial, te ayuda en todo, incluso antes de llegar al alojamiento. Habla muy bien inglés, la comunicación excelente. Nos ayudó en todo, reserva de actividades, taxi moto, a qué playas ir y a qué horas. El alojamiento muy cómodo y a 4 minutos caminando del puerto. Lo recomiendo 100%

From arrival to departure I rate this Homestay a 10. The owner Thanh (hope that is correct spelling) takes care of his visitors, patiently answering all their questions. It would take too long to explain the benefits of staying at Monkeyland, but if you do visit this beautiful island try and get a room here. Simple but charming, clean & comfortable.

Mr Thanh and his family are the loveliest people in the island. The homestay is behind the main harbour in a central location. The rooms are clean and comfy with air-conditioning and private bathrooms. It is the perfect base for your island adventure!

The peacefulness, the host was very friendly and helpful, lovely bedding and towels. Just a beautiful place, I would always recommend it.

There was nothing to dislike

Todo perfecto. Tal cual sale en las fotos. La habitación super limpia. El dueño super amable, simpático y atento con todo. El desayuno que ofrecen es sencillo pero está muy bien.

La cama era muy dura pero no se dormía mal.

Mr Thành was incredible. He picked us up from the ferry and organised all the activities for us. He was friendly and funny and we would defo recommend.

Удобное расположение, несколько минут от пирса. Чистая аккуратная комната. Очень приятный милый владелец. Взяли у него байк и маску для снорклинга. Ощущалась забота и качественное отношение к гостям, было приятно там остановиться 👍

Lovely home stay on the island of Cu Lao….which is such a special place. Friendly owner Than who was helpful and prepared a tasty breakfast every day. Sorted out the return speedboat and transfer and we hired a scooter which is essential to get around the island (although cheap enough to get a lift so don’t let that put you off). Clean and spacious room which was comfortable and location was perfect. Would highly recommended

Ottima posizione, struttura accogliente e pulita. Lo staff gentilissimo e pronto a venirti incontro in ogni richiesta. Possibilità di affittare gli scooter direttamente in hotel per muoversi sull'isola. Le strutture sull'isola sono poche e questa è senz'altro una delle.migliori. Molto consigliata.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Alles was man braucht bekommt man: Roller, Tipps, Touren oder Transfers etc. Zimmer sind gut und die Lage ist perfekt (ruhig aber nah an allem dran). Man fühlt sich sehr gut umsorgt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit.

Posizione ottima per girare tutte le spiagge facilmente in scooter, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e il proprietario è molto gentile e accogliente. Abbiamo fatto il tour di snorkeling che, per problemi legati ai proprietari della barca, non è andato come previsto e l’host ha subito chiamato per risolvere la situazione, davvero molto apprezzato!

Sarebbe ideale avere un asciugamano aggiuntivo per persona

Super accoglienza e gentilezza della famiglia che gestisce l’homestay. Le camere sono “spartane” ma comunque molto pulite.

Прекрасный хоумстей! Мы жили здесь год назад и приехали снова, с радостью остановимся еще и в третий раз! Хозяин замечательный, очень чисто, улица тихая, можно налить горячей воды, кондиционер работает без вопросов, вода горячая, комната большая.

Единственное, что и в отзывах пишут, и у нас возникла проблема с лодкой, в назначенный день отплыть не удалось. Не знаю, с чем это связано.

Der Host war super nett, er hat uns von einem anderen Strand mit dem Roller abgeholt und bei Abreise auch zum Hafen begleitet. Man konnte ihn alles fragen und er hat uns Tipps zum Roller fahren auf der Insel gegeben. Roller kann man direkt beim Homestay zu einem fairen Preis leihen (120k), genau wie eine Schnorchel Ausrüstung. Wir mussten den Roller noch nicht mal tanken.

Estancia en homestay sencillo pero con todo lo necesario para estar muy, muy bien. Propietario muy hospitalario que nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo e intentó que nuestra estancia fuera lo más agradable posible. Lástima no haber podido prolongar durante más días nuestra visita a la isla.

Le personel est au top, possibilité de réserver le bateau avec le propriétaire ainsi que des activités (pêche, Snorkeling...) Le logement était également au top. Possibilité d'avoir le petit dej sur place si vous prévenez a l'avance et que vous payez un supplément.

Good value for the money, clean tidy!

Very conveniently located near the pier, easy walk to many restaurants and cafes but not on a big street so it’s quieter in the evenings. The host is very friendly and provided everything we needed: snorkel rental, motorbike rental, and lots of recommendations about where to explore. They were very responsive over WhatsApp as well to help us book the boat tickets to and from Hoi An before the trip. The homemade breakfast quang noodles are also delicious, highly recommend!

Thanh was so lovely and helpful, collecting us from the port and organising our boat trip back to Hoi An even after we moved places (we wanted to stay longer but he was fully booked!). The property has everything you need, right near the restaurants and scooters to rent. The island itself is paradise!!!! 10/10 recommend visiting Cham Island, lovely people and unbeatable scenery.

The owner is very helpful, you can get a ride on the motorbike to or from the beaches for 20000. Very good contact on whats up. He arranged the boat ticket, met me when the boat arrived and he also drove me back to the harbour after my stay. He let me stay a little after the check out time until the boat time without additional payment. He speaks decent english. Is is a simple standard, not for luxury travellers but you have everything you need. The water in the shower was hot and good pressure. I don't think room cleaning is included while you stay. No bugs or mosquitoes.

Sahibi çok iyi derece ingilizce biliyor ve bizi feribottan alıp tekrar bıraktı sizi özleyeceğiz adaya mutlaka gidilmeli çok güzel plajları var ve altın kum turkuaz su. Buraya tekrardan geleceğiz.

i will remember my 2 night stay here forever! Exceptional host, informative and kind - clean tidy accomodation, great air con, and beautiful breakfasts included. I left something very precious to me in my room and didn;t realise until I had returned to Hoi An. Our host went above and beyond helping me, returing it on the ferry the following day and arranging for the drop off at my new accomodation. He would accept no money for this very kind deed. Honestly, it is homestays like this which restore your faith in mankind. Look no further for a great place to stay on this very beautiful island

perfect in every way

We really enjoyed our stay 😊 The family are lovely and very helpful. The location is nice, right in with the locals, and 1 minute walk to the harbor. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms nice and clean.
