Argentina Residenza Style Hotel

This was our first time in Rome and this was the perfect place to stay — we literally could not have asked for anything better! First off, the location is fantastic — the Pantheon was a 5 minute walk, and we were within walking distance of Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, the Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum, and Capitoline Museum. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the staff go above and beyond to help you.

A wonderful boutique hotel with a lovely and helpful staff. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city—yet you can't hear any noise in the rooms. I'd love to stay there again.

The hotel is a beautiful and unique design and tucked away just off a main street. The staff were all very nice and helpful - particularly the cleaners and breakfast staff. It was ideally located to get around the Centro Storico by foot. The breakfast was good and had plenty of hot and cold options. The air conditioning was strong and very welcome in the extreme heat. And the room was nice and quiet!

The jacuzzi tub in the room was a bit strange.

Dear Hotel Manager, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had upon arriving at your hotel today. I accidentally made my reservation for two adults, and when I arrived with my family, including my two children, I understood that there would be an additional charge or adjustment needed. I fully accept responsibility for the booking mistake and was prepared to pay any additional cost required. The room I booked also has two beds, so I was simply hoping to resolve the situation with the hotel in a straightforward and pleasant manner. Unfortunately, what disappointed me most was not the booking issue, but the way I was treated by the lady at the reception desk. Her tone was extremely rude, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. I felt as though I had done something wrong simply by arriving at the hotel and asking for assistance. I understand that mistakes can happen with reservations, and I have no problem accepting the consequences of my own mistake. However, as a guest who has chosen a four-star hotel, I expected to be greeted with a welcoming smile, a polite tone, and professional hospitality—even when there is an issue that needs to be resolved. Sadly, this interaction completely ruined my first impression of Rome and of your hotel. I arrived expecting a pleasant stay, but instead I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome from the very beginning. I feel like she been looking at me like I try to hidden my children by booking 2 adults only . I ended up pay extra $360 euro. It has significantly changed my impression of your hotel and its reputation. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the way guests are welcomed and treated at the reception desk. No matter what issue a guest may have with a reservation, they should still be treated with courtesy and respect. The reception staff was very helpful! We loved the location for main tourist sites and for wandering into Trastavere for a few meals.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel's location was excellent and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. You can even see the Argentina Ruins right across the street, and there are plenty of shops nearby. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with double doors and sound-blocking shutters that created a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The high ceilings and Roman-inspired design details gave the modern space an elegant, upscale feel. The bathroom was well-appointed with great amenities, and the large sink was even handy for a bit of light laundry. While I would have appreciated a few hooks or a clothesline for hanging items, the closet provided plenty of storage space. We stayed in the adjacent building, which was still very accessible and had both stairs and an elevator. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, and the reception area was warm and welcoming. A couple of friendly notes for future guests: - It may be worth checking that the coffee machine has been properly cleaned, as ours was not. - Washcloths are not provided, so consider bringing your own. - The room only had a simple chair. A comfortable sofa or chair would have been appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel.

While hotel website says there is an elevator you have to walk up a flight of steps first to get to it. Not very transparent sharing that information and difficult for someone who has trouble with steps.

We first stayed here in 2020 and decided to revisit when in town for the Scotland Italy 6 nations game. A reception area and bar have been built on the ground floor since we last visited and we were met by lovely staff. I’m glad we decided to stay here again as the location is amazing - you can walk to all the main tourist spots very easily but it is set back from the street so is pretty quiet. The rooms are a great size especially for central Rome.

The view from our room was nice.

The woman at your front desk (blood red hair) was not friendly nor accommodating she should really not be in customer service. She spoke too quickly and wouldn’t answer any inquiries I had regarding our room or provide our room number. The location around the block and having to walk up steps to an elevator was not a welcome feature which I was not aware when booking the room. We had 4 other rooms booked for my family in your hotel.

The hotel stored our 5 bags for us after checkout while we did one final tour. Unfortunately, when we headed to the airport, we were only given 4 of our bags. We should have checked ourselves, but I wish all bags had been pulled from the closet by the front desk. It cost me 180 Euro to have my bag shipped to me.

Everything was fantastic - warm welcome (staff were lovely and very helpful), lovely quiet rooms, great location within walking distance of main sights, and good breakfast. Hope to return.

The location is fantastic - walking distance to everything & surrounded by great little restaurants & of course Trastevere just across the river. Loved our room with separate entrance, close to the breakfast room (great food).

The stairs up to our room were a little daunting with all our luggage but Michael helped with the heavy ones 😁

Stayed a night at this hotel after a cruise at the end of May, 2026. I have read some of the negative reviews and I have to say our experience was nothing but positive. We showed up a few hours before the usual check-in time and the two young women at receptioon were particularly welcoming and friendly. We had also booked a private transfer from the cruise terminal through the hotel and it could not have gone smoother. Reception told us that our room was not ready, but that they would text us when it was, if we wanted to head out to explore. They stowed our luggage and off we went. The hotel is very nicely located. We wanted to see the Pantheon and it is no more than a 10 minute walk away. And the shopping in the area? My wife was in heaven, even though my credit card ended up in hell. LOL. When we came back from lunch, we were old our room was ready and that that it was located in the "Annex". This was the first we had heard of this "seprate building" busisness. We were simply unaware that there was a separate building at the time of booking. In any event, it was a complete non-issue for us - see below. We followed a young man from main reception, who hauled our bags down the street and into an alley entrance of another building about 150 - 200 meters in distance from the main reception desk. Not far. We were placed on the fourth floor and the bags were delivered there by the hotel employee. Yes there is a flight of stairs up to the elevator level and the elevator is rather small, but we didn't carry our bags up those stairs and all three of us fit in the elevator, together with our bags. When we departed our bags were carried out to the waiting (hotel booked) driver - no fuss no muss. All was arraged with main reception and went smoothly. We just had to let reception know we needed assistance with our bags and this entirely ended any potentlal issue with the us having to carry heavy down a flight of stairs. The room itself had great views, was clean and stylish. The bathroom had a toilet, bidet, sink and the shower was very nice. The AC in the rrooom worked wonderfully. The bed was comfortable and we heard little noise coming from the street below or other areas of teh Annex. Would have no issue booking this hotel again.

Perfectly located and comfortable rooms. We had a cleaning issue with a room when we arrived, but the staff replied promptly and offered us a free breakfast as a sign of courtesy.

There are two buildings and you might be located on the annex - there is nothing bad about it, but it's not as charming as the main one.

This is my first time in Rome with so many attractions didn’t know where to start looking. My friend has stayed in this area and recommended that I would like it. Her hotel since she was there prices jumped too high so I looked for hotel in same area. When I came across this hotel in my search I was drawn to the ceiling. Fell in love with it and having height. Reminded me of my hotel in Portugal. I also needed hotel with an elevator for my husband. I find quite a few don’t have that here. Service is great. Front desk so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place. I travel a lot for me to give this great review. I must be happy.

The shower flooded, was supposed to be fixed but flooded again. But was fixed after that.

Nos gustó todo, la ubicación es excelente, la habitación grande y el baño muy limpio. Estábamos hospedados en el anexo de la Via del Sudario, pero eso ya lo sabíamos de antemano y fue genial. No cogimos desayuno porque nos pareció caro y nosotros ya comemos poco por la mañana y teniamos excelentes cafeterías a escasos minutos. El hotel está excelentemente bien situado, se puede ir andando a todos los lugares turísticos, pero además hay múltiples líneas de bus justo delante, aparte de parada de taxis también a un minuto, por si alguien lo necesita. Nosotros para ir desde y hasta el aeropuerto así lo hicimos. Las opciones para comer y beber también son infinitas. Pantheon y Piazza Navona a 5/7 minutos. Barrio judío lo mismo. Trastevere y Fontana de Trevi a 15 minutos. Aunque no es barato, lo recomiendo totalmente, y cuando vuelva a Roma voy a repetir, ha colmado todas nuestras expectativas.

The lift to our room stopped working twice, it was stuck on certain floors and didn’t move. We just took the stairs instead which is fine, but I’d just ran a marathon so wasn’t ideal lol!

Beware if booking the annexe of this hotel, as it is not A separate building as depicted but IN a separate building that is a residential/business block of flats and the hotel rooms are one floor. The communal entrance is grubby, run-down and smells. The entrance door to the hotel floor is filthy and had a hole in it, this annexe does not have the ambience and appearance of the main hotel and does not have on-site concierge support. Our allocated room was filthy, had not been deep-cleaned and breached the necessary requirements, the room had clearly just been vacated, the toilet and shower showed signs of recent use, there was a blood stain on the bathroom wall and the headboard had a very thick layer of dirt and dust. This hotel has a non-refund policy and will just ignore your messages and end communication with you. The pictures are a complete misrepresentation.

We booked a 7 night stay in the Annex at the Argentina Residenza Style Hotel (Rome) and what a scandalous and shameful experience we had. Be very careful as there is a very heavy misrepresentation of the Annex on all online listings as they only depict and show the reality of the main hotel, the Annex is situated in a separate building in a side street 10 minutes walk from the main hotel, the rooms are located on a single floor in a run down block of flats used clearly for residential and business use, it has no resemblance nor ambience to the main hotel, rooms open directly onto a small communal space, there is no on site concierge available. The room allocated to us was beyond belief it was absolutely filthy, the bed headboard was thick with dirt and dust, the toilet had human waste in the pan, blood on the bathroom wall to name but a few, this room had not been cleaned for days if not weeks. What we were subjected to was not a true and accurate representation of what we had booked, the hotel in this instance had breached their obligation and legal standards in hygiene and cleanliness they failed to provide the consumer with a safe, secure, clean and comfy room surely breach of consumer contract. They offered no mitigation and was unable to offer an immediate resolution by way of a room change. No evidence could be provided by them in their defence to any of our concerns and chose only to ignore our questions. Be extremely cautious this hotel has a non refundable policy, they take your money then avoid any progress in negotiations by falling silent.

Hotel molto accogliente, confortevole e curato. Letto comodo, bagno pulito, doccia con cromoterapia. Lo staff eccellente: sempre molto cortese e disponibile. Posizione perfetta vicinissima al centro. Mi sono trovata molto bene e tornerei molto volentieri.
