Randon Resort Mirissa

Die Lage ist zwar etwas abseits, aber dafür sehr ruhig und alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Der schöne Strand ca 600m entfernt. Rangith war sehr freundlich, sein Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet mit Früchten und Spiegelei und die Zimmer waren modern, sehr sauber und gut möbliert.

We had a wonderful stay at Randon Resort in Mirissa. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it a great place to relax. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made our experience even more special. It also offers great value for money. Due to unexpected flight cancellations caused by the Middle East situation, the host kindly offered us a complimentary 2-night stay. This generous gesture was truly appreciated and meant a lot to us. This is exactly why we love Sri Lankan hospitality—warm, caring, and genuinely supportive.

Hygiënisch. Zeer ruime kamers. Heeft potentieel. Wifi goede ontvangst tot halverwege de kamer.

Een nieuw hotel, nog maar 2 maanden open. Onbegrijpelijk dat bij een nieuwbouw de waterpomp zo geïnstalleerd wordt dat je wakker wordt, telkens er water gebruikt wordt. Ook is er geen gordijn aan de deur (met raam) naar het terras waardoor je telkens mee met de zonsopgang wakker wordt. Ligging is wat ver van de 'place to be'. 2 nachten wakker gelegen van het onophoudelijk geblaf en gehuil van honden. Er zijn 4 kamers maar verder is er niets. De conciërge moet elke ochtend een ontbijt bij hem thuis ophalen en met zijn brommer meebrengen. En aan de eigenaar ... geef uw werknemer a.u.b. een deftige plaats om al die ontelbare uren door te brengen.

Très bon séjour ! Le personnel était vraiment accueillant et sympathique. La chambre était propre et agréable. 5–10 minutes à pied de la plage.

The room and bathroom were super clean with a very comfy bed. The host was also so lovely, he always made sure we had everything we needed and made us a nice breakfast in the morning.

Liked everything but the bed was quite creaky in our room, aside from that everything was perfect!

The location was good. It was on a quiet road a short easy walk to shops and the beach. Our host was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was a good size with a very decent bathroom.

First day and a half we only had cold water.

This is a very good place to stay in Mirissa. The location is perfect, close to everything, but just far enough from the busy main road and all the noise. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet. My room and bathroom were very spacious, clean, with a lot of light and everything you could possibly need. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make me feel like at home.

Perfect breakfast, comfortable stay and close to the beach. The host was very attentive and he helped us with everything, amazing host. We will definetely come back!

superb host. Really clean and tidy and big rooms. Very good breakfast a good match in the morning. It was close to Mirissa beach. We were treated well and friendly.

Ranji was the best host we could have asked for! He made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and spotless, and breakfast was a highlight that made our stay even better. We loved the relaxed vibe, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the beach.

Every thing is ok

This place is new and everything in the property looks pristine! It is exactly as pictured in the photos. Loved it so much we extended our stay! 1. There is consistent hot shower water and cold AC, there is also a proper table, chair and fast wifi for doing work in the room. 2. Plenty of comfortable amenities including a fridge and freezer, gas stove, washing machine and even a large clothes rack to dry things in the living room. Has everything you need 3. The location is off the main road so you don’t get the terrible road noise, but still super near 3min walk to cargills supermarket and lots of cafes and restaurants too! The toilet also has a very nice light up vanity mirror for ladies. There is a power card that switches everything on and off so you don’t have to manually when you go in/out. In all, this place is a steal! It’s literally hotel quality but for a fraction of the price. Brand new and super value for money. We stayed in 4 other guesthouses within the same price range in Mirissa around this central area (all rated >9.0 on booking) and none of them came close. We met the owner who happened to be in the area and he was super nice. The staff Avishka is hardworking and kind, and makes very good breakfast too! He was always on time when we had to eat early before our tours and very responsive on whatsapp, helped with all sorts of things like showing us how to start our scooter etc. Sharing this abit grudgingly but don’t be afraid that it’s new, this was our best stay in sri lanka and 100% would stay again!
