Very conveniently located for the airport. Reasonably priced - good value. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room and bathroom a little ‘tired’, but clean and comfortable.

I’m sorry I didn’t get the lady’s name at the reception desk when we checked in. She was wonderful in helping with the parking, information and storing our refrigerated food.

Need more lights in the bathroom. Also would be convenient to have a shuttle service to the airport.

It was very shabby with no basic equipment. He had yo ask for a fan during the heatwave and for a hair dryer

We needed a place to spend the night near the airport before flying out in the morning and this did the job.

Excellent location, perfect for overnight before departure from Cardiff airport.

The food was limited choice and basic pub grub, rooms were a little tired especially the bathroom. Perfect for one night tho.

Took us ages to find the property as it wasn’t sign posted rooms dated and I felt really sorry for the chap behind the desk he was doing 10 jobs at once to the very best of his ability

The room smelled damp, the carpets and bedding felt damp, the bed was like sleeping on a spring board, and the carpets were extremely worn. Also surprised to see the only electrical socket in the room i could find installed upside down.

While the public areas were very nice, the room i had was basic, tired and in need of a refurbishment. The mattress was uncomfortable, the pillows flat and there was no hair dryer. The TV control was also in need of a good antibacterial clean!

Beds were a little aged (matress was worn and didn't lie flat) but ok for 1 night. Room was very hot (only 1 small fan)

Perfect location for a night before a morning flight. The gentleman serving behind the bar in the restaurant was really attentive and provided excellent service.

Old & tired decor. Pillows were old, flat, lumpy foam and the sheets were scratchy. The room was not clean and the bathroom was out dated (Lino on floor, shower over bath with nylon curtain). No hairdryer in room (I had to ask for one). No iron / ironing board. The view from the window was onto a tall wooden fence which was about 1.5m away! Minute bottle of shampoo/ shower gel & soap; tissue box in room had 6 tissues left!

The location was perfect for an overnight stay to catch our flight to Canada in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal and breakfast were adequate for the price with kind and approachable bar and other staff.

The property was dated and looked tired so if you’re expecting high end don’t book, but it was good for what we wanted. It was a warm night and although I managed to get a bit of cooler air into the room with the window open, I think this hotel is going to need aircon in the future.

Clean enough, close to amenities that we needed. Pool table which gave us something to do in the evening. Lovely bar. Staff were exceptional and extremely polite. Was extremely hot in the room because of the time of year but receptionist gave us a fan.

Only one plug socket in the room (not the staff’s fault!) but asked at reception and was given an extension lead.

Breakfast poor continental on first day extremely poor no meat choices or cheese only cereal they had were cornflakes rice creipes coco pops. Pastries are your cheap nasty ones . Second day were slightly better as they did have meat cheese and a muslee but fo £9 still not worth it you might go to tobby what 5 minutes down roads full breakfast from 7 and lot nofer

We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and position of hotel to our venue.

Unfortunately our window did not close, not that we wanted it to close due to the weather, which allowed noise and arguments from the car park to he heard

Very dated, beds very uncomfortable and dirty plus windows were broken, food hygiene was a level 3 so we had breakfast elsewhere, anymore than 1 night would have been too long.

Great hotel. The lady on reception was lovely and helpful, as were the other 2 staff I spoke with. I had food from the bar, it was nice. Ideal location to get into Cardiff. I travelled from Herts, England for the blackbird festival at Cardiff Castle. Definitely will stay again, when im in the area.

The hotel is very nice, clean and tidy, beds are super comfortable and a very quiet hotel to rest. Value for money! The best part was the restaurant and a well stocked Bar!very comfortable seating,bright and so clean. Ivor who served us,is just so kind, helpful and attentive, fantastic food, both evening’s we ate there, portions are very generous, value for money, we stayed as we were visiting Barry Island, and we will definitely come again. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful! Highly recommended a stay here!

The hotel was in a good location for the airport . We only stayed one night . The price was very good . We would use the hotel again if we flew from Cardiff airport again .

Location to the airport was perfect. The bar and outdoor drinking area was very nice. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Very big family room.

Our room which was a great size was just starting to look a little dated. No plug sockets near the bed was also a shame.

Lovely big rooms. Exactly what we needed for a night before our flight. Staff were lovely and friendly. We were even shown to our rooms.

Needs modernising, redecorating, it was very noisy in our room 113, a generator or loud fan or something but as loud as a motorbike going on and off all night.

It was a relaxing, comfortable country inn, close to the airport, yet along a quiet rural lane. The staff were very helpful. The manager, and the desk clerk the next morning helped find bus schedules for me.

The restaurant took only card payments - no cash. This was inconvenient because I had just walked several km to get British pound paper notes, which I had to do after finding out the Cardiff airport did not have a currency exchange.

No a/c and being on the ground floor you couldn’t open your windows but a crack. Bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Rooms were very hot. I had requested 2 rooms next to or very near each other due to children which was acknowledged and upon arrival couldn’t have been further away from each other

Breakfast was really good, I had the full english and it was cooked fresh, There was a good selection of Cerals and usual breakfast condiments to be had, I could not fault it at all, Very nice. The Room was good, bed very comfy, shower was good also ...good water pressure. Everything that was required was availiable. Tea/coffee making facilities availiable in the room which is great. I Stayed for 1 night , The hotel is within walking distance from the airport (10 mins), Ok there is no foothpath but the grass verge either side of the road has been cut back so much that it is possible to walk on the grass, fine for the summer however I would suspect in the winter if this was to become wet and mucky it wouldn't be ideal, in saying that though the road is not overly bust with traffic and there is ample room to step off the road and let the cars pass if you did not want to walk on the grass.

It was a quick drive from Cardiff International Airport.

There was very little sound proofing, and the guests in the room next to us were very loud and up the entire night. The restaurant food was not very good. The continental breakfast was very simple, low quality, and over-priced.

The location close to the airport was great. The hotel facilities were quite basic.

The mattresses, furnishings, bathrooms were all very dated, no elevator to the second floor.

Close to the airport, with good parking facilities. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Janet; a very friendly and helpful person on the front desk. We were not expecting the opportunity to have food, as it was a Sunday, but because there was World cup soccer on TV the hotel was providing a good menu. Our room was clean and tidy, however no air conditioning which made for a disturbed sleep. Loved having the full bath available - however the bathroom had small windows above the bath, so the bathroom light shone light directly into the bedroom and again, disturbed sleep.

No air conditioning. No normal availability for food on a Sunday, so we had planned to travel a couple of miles away to the local carvery. Windows above bath shining bathroom light into sleeping area. Noisy bathroom fan.

I had an enormous oil stain in the carpet that smelled. Breakfast was hugely disappointing. Unfortunately there are no other options available.

Very friendly and helpful staff , room is perfectly clean, easy to get there from Cardiff city

No air conditioning and we stayed on the hottest night of the year. Fans were not put in the rooms, we had to ask for them and it was still impossible to sleep in the room with only one small window to open. Very basic food and the 'salad' that accompanied the very small lasagne was just a garnish that had obviously sat on the side in the heat for some time before being served. Food was not worth the price paid.

Staff are very kind and helpful especially at the front desk.

One area of improvement I would suggest, that if there was a mini fridge in the room and an air conditioning unit.

Although no A/C during the 2026 heatwave this older built accommodation had quite good insulation preventing heat soak into the rooms. That said it's not all that do so A/C heating and cooling has to become standard moving forward.

The bed was truly awful. It was an old lumpy mattress with ridges and dips. No respectable hotel should have such a bed. Appalling.

Manager Mark was very empathetic of our situation where he rectified everything on the spot and kept reassuring us that everything will be sorted. All staff were very helpful and professional from front desk to housekeeping. Thank you for a lovely comfortable stay. We definitely recommend!
