Wonderful attention to detail in the home. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with everything we needed. The staff were attentive - helpful and friendly. Home has beautiful relaxing spaces

electricity kept tripping

The house , the garden the size of the home , and all the amenities

Only a slight mishap the 1st night we were without electricity till early hours of the am

It was so peaceful and relaxing and close to everything

Well maintained and looked after The only issue was the water pressure and to control the hot and cold water in the showers

Large gardens

Internal cleaning done on where the eye can see. Spider colonies on the inside of the house. We booked for 4 nights, stayed for 1 night due to the spiders coming out of the curtains in colonies. Still under renovation, skirting unpainted we thereafter stayed at brahman hills and fourdon spa.

The rooms were gorgeous and I love walking in the garden.

We were a group of 10 people. There are 6 amazing ensuite rooms, ALL 5 STAR. The house was perfect; the gardens were absolutely amazing. Middle of winter and there were still flowers everywhere. We were met by Zinhle at arrival, and she gave us a full run down of the property and facilities, she made sure everything was just perfect. Calvin the grounds man made sure we were stocked with firewood each day and the outside entertainment, braai, and garden areas perfectly maintained. It was very cold at night but there were fire places, heaters, electric blankets, additional blankets in the amazing lounge, we wanted for nothing. The location of the property is perfect, just far enough to not hear any traffic, and literally a 2 min drive to Notties. We wanted to check out a little later on leaving day and it was not a problem at all, I would recommend this property to anyone staying in Nottingham road, you WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!! We are already planning our return visit in the summer where the gardens will be in full bloom. A huge thank you to Marita, Zinhle and Calvin for the best long weekend away!!

This is a fabulous property, very well appointed with various sitting and dining areas. The gardens are show worthy and a delight. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. A really lovely place. Nothing to dislike.

Spacious, rooms were cosy. Kids jungle gym.

Kitchen wasnt as open as the rest.

The location is great and the garden magnificent and the house beautifully appointed.

The water filter may require attention.

The house and gardens are simply stunning

The entrance from the road is not well sign posted it needs to be more visible

The garden and home are exceptional and beautifully maintained. Cant wait to go back with my family. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We came in pretty late and all was smooth and friendly. Thank you!

Shower temperature settings hard to control..

Every room has its own bathroom. The house is very comfortable and effort had been made to put out flowers for our arrival. The garden is huge and beautiful!

It would have been wonderful to bring our dogs with if that was permitted.

Everything was awesome.

The entire place is fantastic. It is a beautiful place that is well-considered and easy to settle into. The assistance of Kelvin and Zintle makes the stay even more pleasant as they take away the day-to-day chores that a holidaymaker is trying to get away from, they keep the house and garden spotless, and there is always a warm fire somewhere in the house. The attention to detail is also very evident! We had an absolutely wonderful stay and highly recommend the place to anyone.

I loved how clean the space was. I loved the carefully considered details for her guests. Like the little Wedgewood nougats next to our beds. A gentlemen made our fire on arrival. A wonderful lady cleaned our kitchen when we left. The modern take on the home is so beautiful. The styling and finishes are fantastic. Great location for families. Gorgeous spacious gardens.

The only thing I would suggest is when a message is sent to the new guest, including detailed address information would be great as Google didn't take us to the exact spot. Turning right into the Braeme road sign helped a lot.

Beautiful home, lovely rooms and the staff were excellent with lighting fires and servicing the house.

We had a few issues with the electricity tripping and the one night we weren't sure if there was a fault, load shedding issue or a tripping issue so we didn't have electricity for one evening.
