Very good location, not expensive, and nice comfortable place to stay. No problems
Great location with lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. The listing claimed to be a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality there was only one actual bedroom separated by a glass wall and curtains. There was no second bedroom at all, which meant one of us had to sleep on the floor because even the couch was too small. On top of that, the toilet began overflowing during our stay. Instead of taking responsibility or offering prompt help, the host tried to blame us, suggesting we had flushed items like sanitary pads or wet wipes, which we absolutely did not. Assistance was only sent after I mentioned leaving a negative review. The plumber arrived after 11 PM, worked for almost an hour, and left the bathroom wet, dirty, and smelling strongly of sewage. We had to clean everything ourselves. Overall, the property was misrepresented, the situation was poorly handled, and the host’s attitude made an already stressful issue even worse. I do not recommend this stay.
Nice apartment, pleasure to stay. Convenient and attractive location with a lot of shops and restaurants around the corner. Walking distance to metro stations and palaces. A feeling of a unique home, beautifully decorated.
Would be great if the owner could communicate in English as the English translation of their messages written in Korean wasn’t always very clear. Best for 1-2 people, family of 3 is the maximum.
Emplacement top, calme malgré le quartier animé, déco sympa, appartement propre
Description inexacte.
Walking distance to palaces, shrines, temples, 2 train stations, close to Airport Limousine Bus. Lots of food options and convenience stores. But.....
Description states 2 bedroom, 3 beds - there is 1 clear glass enclosed bed (sleeps 2 easily), + traditional Korean floor mat and quilt (also sleeps 2), placed in the living room as there is nowhere else to put it. There is no second bedroom and no third bed. We had 3 seperate adults and struggled to find privacy for changing etc. Upstairs toilet leaks.
Great property
Small towels
Almost property are Comfortable.
Room’s wall is all glass. If you are group, you can’t keep your privacy.
The house it is ultra-centrally located, the host is very agreeable and responds to queries, plenty of supermarkets around etc.
The house does NOT contain two bedrooms as stated on booking.com. It contains one open-space living room with a non-extensible couch, dining table and kitchen, as well as a queen bed in the corner, the latter of which has two glass walls sourrounding it (but it does not have visual or audio privacy as the courtains don't fully cover the glass walls). If you are a group of more than two people, apart from bed you will have to use futons provided by the host, which you will have to place somewhere on the floor of the same/one and only living room (so space is scarce). Also in order to get to the living room you have to go up two flights of stairs (there is no elevator). So you will have to carry any baggage two flights of stairs.
A beautiful home aesthetically furnished. The roof terrace is just so nice to unwind or catch a good morning breather.
If only the facility could provide bath towels.
The unit is near to Gyeongbokgung, walking distance to Jongno 3 district which there are many street food, cafe and korea souvenir. Swift communication with the owner. Inside have fridge, washing & drying machine. 2 large bed, 2 washroom so no need to q long for toilet. The design and decor of the unit also very traditional, basically we feel rich when staying in the house.

What guests love
Areas to consider
Cleanliness
6.5/10Mixed: several guests noted the apartment is generally clean, but a severe plumbing incident (toilet overflow, plumber leaving the bathroom wet/dirty and smelling of sewage) lowered confidence in cleanliness.
Service
7.5/10Mixed: host is described as agreeable and responsive in many reviews, but at least one guest reported poor handling of a plumbing emergency and attempted blame-shifting, causing dissatisfaction.
Location
9.5/10Very positive: repeatedly praised as ultra-central, walking distance to palaces, stations, many restaurants, shops and convenience stores.
Room Quality
6/10Negative for groups: multiple guests reported the listing is misleading (advertised as two-bedroom but is essentially a studio with a glass-enclosed bed), lack of privacy due to glass walls, limited sleeping arrangements (futons), small towels, and stairs to access the unit.
Amenities
9/10Generally adequate: basic amenities (kitchen, futons, towels, nearby supermarkets) are available and the apartment is nicely decorated; limited by only one bathroom and no elevator for luggage/stairs access.
Value for Money
9/10Positive: several guests noted the property is not expensive and comfortable for 1-2 people, offering strong location value; however, misrepresentation and incident handling reduce perceived value for larger groups.
Food and Beverage
8/10Standard quality for this hotel tier.
Overall Experience
8.5/10Mixed-positive overall: excellent central location, attractive decor and comfort for 1-2 guests, but notable drawbacks for groups (misleading room description, privacy issues) and at least one serious service/cleanliness incident that affected some stays.
