Great location, great staff. Overall room was nice.

Bad value for maney - you can easily find better rooms here for half the price. The shower was right above the tiolet and everything gets wet all the time. Not much hostelly vibes for those looking for it.

I stayed a couple of nights in a private room with a bathroom. The room truly exceeded my expectations; the bed was very comfortable, and the hot shower was exactly what I needed after a multi-day trek. The reception staff were very friendly, especially Rahul, who I spoke to the most. The hostel's location is excellent. Highly recommended.

Very clean. I left my luggage for almost a month, the guys kept it safe, everything was great.

The property was very easy to find. The staff were very helpful especially Rahul. The breakfast was also delicious. Overall the hostel had a very pleasant and calm atmosphere.

One of the best places I have stayed, especially considering the value for money. The location is amazing : in the heart of Thamel, the property is set back from the main road, making it surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The rooms were super comfy and clean and the rooftop breakfast with views over the city was a great way to start the day. A special thanks to Raju and the entire team, who were always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I would highly recommend Thamel Heritage Hostel to anyone visiting Kathmandu and would definitely stay here again.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, room is comfortable and beautiful. The best part is, its in the quiet side of thamel, so after a long day you can get a good night sleep.

Rooms were clean, decorated well. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. There is staff there 24/7 and security. They lock the gates at night so you felt very safe.

The food is out in the open in the rooftop. They are packaged well, but you can imagine rodent and insects being a factor. This is why we didn’t eat any food there. If the staff can change that then that would be better for hygiene.

Location was excellent, close to Thamel main streets but quiet enough to stay. I didn't try breakfasts but iced cappuccino was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hard to tell what I didn't like as I knew exactly what to expect. It is a hostel, so some amenities can be not as in a 5 star hotel, but generally was ok.

Aus geplanten zwei Nächten habe ich auf meiner ganzen Reise 11 Nächte hier verbracht. Perfekt um Leute kennenzulernen und einfach ein Gefühl von „Zuhause“ zu haben, wenn man wieder nach Kathmandu fährt. Mitarbeiter super nett. Rahul und sein Kollege an der Rezeption, aber auch das Personal in der Küche. Jeder Tag fing mit einem Cappuccino an und endete mit einem Ginger Lemon Honey tea. Die Bäder werden ständig gereinigt.

Wenn die Betten auch am Fußende Vorhänge hätten, wäre es super.

Great little hostel, about 5 mins walk from busy streets in Thamel but felt very safe walking back at night as 2 females. All staff very helpful and attentive, even when we managed to block the toilet 😂. Lovely security guard on the gate every day. It is tucked away and does not feel like you are in the centre of a busy city so you can get a good nights sleep. Laundry service available - returned the same day. Staff helped us print off some important documentation.

. eine geniale lage mitten in thamel, trozdem ein ruhiger fleck wo man den strassenrummel kaum bemerkt!! . die zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich, das frühstück ist lekker und eigentlich... ich finde nichts zu meckern!! . das flughafentaxi war pünktlich und preiswert! .speziell erwähnen möchte ich die zwei jungs an der rezeption, Rahul und Ganesh! die zwei sind unschlagbar was freundlichkeit und hilfsbereitschaft anbelangt und immer für ein nettes gespräch zu haben

Fantastic location in Thamel with access to a quiet courtyard, rooftop terrance, Hindu temples and little garden. It was such a nice respite from the busy city. The team, inparticular Rahul & Raju took great care of me and made sure my every need was met. The bed was so comfy and I loved having a clean en-suite after trekking as well. Great shower, spacious room, quite, and comfy bedding and linen. Perfect! I would stay again. Excellent value for money too.

Cette auberge est incroyable ! Elle est très bien située et très confortable. Les gens qui gèrent l'établissement sont très gentils et toujours là pour aider ! C'était super de faire holi la bas, nous avons eu droit a des couleurs le matin.

Personnel très gentil et prêt à aider. Chambre plutôt bien aménagée pour que chacun ait son espace (hormis pour les gros sacs à dos). Très bonne situation dans Thamel.

Propreté correcte mais peut encore être améliorée je pense.

The property is in the centre of Thamel. Most of the tourist attractions were walking distance. It was easy to explore around. The hostel itself was amazing. Our room was gorgeous with an amazing greenery view from the window. The staffs were super friendly and went over and beyond to help us. They have an amazing rooftop where you can chill and have a good breezy time. I would definitely choose to come back here again.

Прекрасное расположение, в туристическом районе, но на тихой улице. Под окнами зелень и пели птицы. Очень комфортные комнаты, всегда тепло (была зимой), есть горячая вода. Хороший выбор на завтраки и классная терраса. Очень приветливый и помогающий персонал, через них же можно забронировать любые туры. Идеальное место в Катманду по соотношению цена/качество/расположение.

Neat and clean dorms and hotel. Even had hangers for clothes. Lockers by the bed and stairs for the upper bunk were a nice touch. The bed I got by the window was perfect as it had sunlight and view of the entrance. Location is good - very near to the main Thamel area and many restaurants nearby. The staff at the reception was helpful.

- Washrooms for the top floor dorm are one floor above and you kind of have to pass by the cafe to use them. - The common area on the ground floor is very small for meeting fellow travellers/socializing.

Super comfortable hostel, best people around, delicious breakfast offered in the property, really well located.

I had a great stay at Thamel heritage Hostel, the guys at reception are so lovely. It's a short walk from Durbar Square, safe area, there is even a security officer at the entrance.

I really enjoyed my stay here! All of the staff were really friendly and welcoming, especially Saugat! The beds were comfy, with a plug socket, light and locker beside each one.

I think the receptionist at this couple's place is very nice, the staff are great RAJU SAUGAT RAJI, and the rooms are very clean.The hot water is very powerful.

It felt like a 5 star hotel. Super helpful for booking our treks. Exceptionally clean and really hot showers.

前回も利用したが、タメル地区の中においては非常に静かな場所にあり、買い物や食事に困らなかった。部屋はきれいで、チェックアウト後も荷物を無料で預かってくれた。

部屋のコンセントがいくつか壊れたままで、使いにくかった。２泊なのに、バスタオル1枚しかなく、ハンドタオルや予備のバスタオルがあれば良かった。

Es ist zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Der Schlafsaal war sauber und auch die Bäder waren immer sauber. Jedes Bett hat eine Steckdose, Licht und einen Locker.

Leider gab es im Schlafssal zu wenig Kleiderhaken. Da könnten ruhig ein paar mehr sein.
