We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful accommodation. Everything is very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, leaving nothing to be desired. The service was exceptional very attentive, warm, and incredibly friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and we highly recommend having dinner on the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the fort. We especially loved the homemade cake and chai, which were available at any time and added such a lovely personal touch. My room was very clean, tidy and comfortable, and the rooftop provided an excellent view towards Jaisalmer Fort. The manager and staff were friendly, accommodating and always willing to help despite the occasional language barrier. I also appreciated the generous masala chai, pleasant vegetable biryani, fresh bed linen and assistance with my washing.

The property is still undergoing renovation, so some facilities and finishing touches remain incomplete. Breakfast was rather basic, communication was occasionally unclear, and greater consistency in service, power backup and internet reliability would improve longer stays.

L’hôtel est très bien situé pour profiter (à pied) de tout ce qu’il y à voir à Jaisalmer (du lac Gadi Sar à la ville fortifiée) et on bénéficie par ailleurs d’une magnifique vue sur les remparts depuis le rooftop. Rashim, le gérant des lieux, est adorable : il se plie en 4 pour aider en toute discrétion et sans jamais être insistant ni intrusif. Une vraie belle personne. Pour une seule nuit, Rashim m’a notamment accordé un Check-in à 9h AM et le check-out le lendemain à 6h30 PM. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent, voire exceptionnel si on arrive bénéficier de certaines remises.

Lo mejor del alojamiento ha sido el trato maravilloso que he recibido de los dueños que siempre me han ayudado en todo lo que necesité. Me cocinaron comida recién hecha, con productos frescos y disfrute de la azotea en las comidas y sobre todo en las cenas. La habitación es espaciosa, acogedora y cómoda, y la ubicación también es muy buena, está a 5 minutos andando de la puerta de la fortaleza y a 5 minutos en tuktuk de la estación de tren. Salí en bus y me llevaron hasta la estación. Volvería sin duda a este hotel para recibir tan buen trato.

We had a lovely stay with Hasim and the entire team. From the moment I booked the room, Hasim stayed in touch and made sure everything was perfect for us — even arranging pickup from the train station. The rooms were huge, with massive and super comfortable beds, and the rooftop offers the most wonderful view of the fort. Everyone on the team was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. All you had to do was ask Hasim, and he would arrange anything for you. The overnight camel safari they organised was truly a dream come true — sleeping under the stars on white bed linen in the middle of the desert was an unforgettable experience. And the paneer paratha for breakfast is definitely the breakfast of champions!

Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in Jaisalmer Dies war wahrlich die beste Erfahrung, die ich je bei einem Aufenthalt irgendwo in meinem Leben gemacht habe. Von Anfang an hat sich Hasim weit über das übliche Maß hinaus für uns eingesetzt. Er bot sogar an, uns vom Bahnhof abzuholen obwohl unser Zug bis 2 Uhr nachts Verspätung hatte , und empfing uns bei unserer Ankunft mit heißem Chai. Diese Herzlichkeit gab uns sofort das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein. Das Hotel und die Zimmer waren außergewöhnlich sauber, die Betten sehr bequem und der Blick von der Dachterrasse auf das „Golden Fort“ absolut wunderschön. Der Chai und die Bananen-Pancakes waren köstlich, und das Mango-Lassi war ehrlich gesagt das beste, das wir während unseres gesamten einmonatigen Aufenthalts in Indien getrunken haben. Was diesen Aufenthalt jedoch wirklich besonders machte, war Hasims Gastfreundschaft. Während unseres gesamten Besuchs gab er uns das Gefühl, zur Familie zu gehören. Er begleitete mich persönlich zu einem örtlichen Barbier, einem Schneider und einer Apotheke und stellte dabei sicher, dass ich überall fair behandelt wurde. Einer der unvergesslichsten Momente war die Einladung, gemeinsam mit seiner Familie eine Mahlzeit auf ihrer Kreuzkümmel-Farm vor den Toren der Stadt einzunehmen eine so aufrichtige und unvergessliche Erfahrung. Wir krönten unsere Reise mit einer privaten Kamelsafari mit Übernachtung; ein unglaubliches Erlebnis zu einem äußerst fairen Preis von 3500 INR vor allem in Anbetracht dessen, dass Abendessen, Frühstück, der Jeep-Transfer, die Kamele und alles Weitere, was für dieses Abenteuer nötig war, bereits im Preis inbegriffen waren. Unter dem Sternenhimmel der Wüste zu schlafen, nachdem wir zuvor am Lagerfeuer Chai getrunken hatten das ist etwas, das ich niemals vergessen werde. Falls Sie Jaisalmer besuchen, tun Sie sich selbst einen Gefallen und übernachten Sie genau hier.

This hotel is the only place to book when visiting Jaisalmer! Perfectly clean rooms, a beautiful rooftop terrace, freshly cooked and delicious food and most importantly, the best staff ever. From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of the family. They took such great care of me, and as a female solo traveler, I always felt completely safe and comfortable here. I also booked the non-touristic desert safari, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. We enjoyed a camel ride, cooked food over the fire, watched a magical sunset, visited the ghost village and a small local village, and slept under the stars in the desert. It was truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend this hotel, Hasim, and the entire team enough. If you don’t stay here, you are seriously missing out!

You genuinely feel looked after at all times. The rooftop restaurant and bar with its beautiful Golden Fort view is a real highlight. It serves freshly prepared, high-quality food and has become a social hub where international travelers — including guests from nearby hostels — come together for breakfast, masala chai, pancakes, and storytelling. Located on the of the fort, right beside the fort wall, the hotel is about 300 meters from the main entrance It’s not completely tranquil, but noticeably less noisy than the busy center — a very good balance between accessibility and calmness. After our night bus from Pushkar, Rahim (the manager) kindly collected us from the bus stop as part of the hotel’s service. By sunrise, we were already enjoying chai on the rooftop terrace. Our desert safari was very well organized with genuine local desert villagers as guides. Riding camels and being physically close to these calm and impressive animals was a truly authentic experience. Cooking outdoors and sleeping under the stars made it unforgettable. European travelers may arrive with an idealized image of the Thar Desert, and reality can be slightly different — even 70 km outside the city, wind turbines are visible. However, this reflects the reality of modern life and the increasing energy needs of villages and cities rather than taking away from the experience itself.

L'hôte est très sympathique et arrangeant. Il nous a permis d'arriver plus tôt et de partir plus tard, c'était très pratique. Notre chambre était très confortable, particulièrement la literie qui est vraiment extra. L'Haveli est très bien situé tout en étant très calme. Le rooftop est très agréable pour prendre le petit déjeuner, avec une vue splendide. Le WiFi est également très bon. Il n'y a rien à redire sur le logement, nous le recommandons les yeux fermés.

Nous avons fait un safari qui s'est très bien passé dans l'ensemble (il n'y avait que nous sur les dunes, c'était très chouette). Toutefois, l'hôte nous avait dit que c'était un tour privé et qu'on aurait entre 1h et 1h30 de balade en dos de dromadaire. Arrivés à la Jeep, on nous a dit qu'on attendait 2 autres personnes, sans nous avoir prévenu plus tôt, alors qu'on avait réservé pour un tour privé. En plus, nous avons seulement fait une petite demie heure de dromadaire, ce qui était bien moins long que prévu. Nous aurions voulu être prévu des changements en amont

Am meisten gefallen hat uns die Gastfreundschaft die an den Tag gelegt wurde. Der Hotelbesitzer Hassim ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse auf das Fort war eine Augenweide. Wir würden jeden empfehlen, wenn man in Jasialmer ist dort vorbei zu schauen. Der Weg zum Fort vom Hotel beträgt in etwa 5 Minuten laufen. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft Hassim und Team wir wünschen euch weiterhin viel Erfolg :)

Es gab eine Kleinigkeit die aber sofort behoben worden ist, indem wir ohne wenn und aber direkt ein neues frisches Zimmer bekamen. Die Toilettenspülung hatte in unserem Zimmer nicht funktioniert. Es wurde sofort behoben

When I arrived in the morning, the hotel owner welcomed me, offered me tea, and has been most friendly and helpful during my entire stay. While he is able to offer a camel safari (like many other accomodations here do), he never tried push sale; rather, he just offered useful information, remained very patient and considerate, and let me make my own decisions. Eventually I did choose the safari he offered, and enjoyed the sandune experience under all the stars. After I returned from the safari, this lovely man most graciously let me take a good hot shower in a spare room, and again offered me more tea. I can't ask for anything more. And a big plus: the comfortable rooftop has a nice view. It's very relaxing to sit there to sip a tea or have a bite, or simply to enjoy a breeze, doing nothing. Of course it's not a luxury accomodation, but it's pretty good value. And everyone at this hotel is very willing to help. I sincerely thank them.

Because this was our first accommodation in India, we arrived a little worried about how everything would be and what it would look like. But we couldn’t have chosen a better place or a better start to our trip. The owner, Hasim, was extremely helpful—he gave us great advice, helped us arrange a tuk-tuk, and nothing was ever a problem. The rooms were perfectly clean, and delicious food was cooked on the terrace overlooking the fort. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend it.

Très bonne localisation et emplacement calme Nous avons consommé 2 repas du soir et 3 déjeuners, ceci nous a permis de tester des plats différents à chaque fois. Les repas ainsi que les déjeuners sont superbes et fait sur place. Murad nous a aidé pour prendre nos billets de bus direction Jodhpur. We had such a great stay at Murad Haveli Jaisalmer. The location is perfect, just near the fort with amazing rooftop views. Rooms are clean, the AC works very well, and the WiFi speed is excellent. What made our experience truly special was the kindness of the owner Hasim. He is very friendly and always ready to help. He arranged a cab for us to Jodhpur at a fair price, and when my friend was not feeling well, he even called a doctor to the hotel and personally made sure everything was okay. That level of care is rare and shows how much they value their guests. The property itself has a nice traditional haveli style, comfortable rooms, and tasty food served on the rooftop with fort views. They also arranged a non-touristy camel safari for us, which was one of the best parts of our trip – peaceful dunes, clean beds, fresh food, and sleeping under the stars. Overall, it felt like staying with friends rather than just in a hotel. Highly recommend Murad Haveli for anyone visiting Jaisalmer! 🌟

We stayed at Murad haveli Hotel and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect: the room was beautiful, clean, and the restaurant was very good. All this for a very reasonable price. The staff is lovely and attentive. Checkout was at 10am and they allowed us to stay until 3pm (we had a bus). We were able to relax and enjoy the amazing. golden Fort view. We will be back!

They said they will provide a balcony room but there is no balcony for even one room in the property , they offer desert stay never trust because they will say 70kms away but it will be 28+ kms away and a small desert dune , for Rs. 5300 we can get more best entertainment, only camel ride will satisfy you other than that rest will be very very unhappy , you feel sad about going for there offer , please be careful

We had an excellent stay. They were so helpful from start to finish - after I booked Hasim quickly got in touch to arrange everything, we were picked up from the train station, and because we were arriving late (after 11pm, the kitchen closing at 10:30pm), they took a food order and kept the food back for us until we had arrived. The room was big and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace is fantastic - beautiful view, very peaceful. Delicious breakfast. They also organised our overnight Desert Safari for us, which was absolutely brilliant, and when we got back we were given access to a room for a shower and to change, and then we could leave our bags there all day before our night train. They could not do enough for us, it was wonderful

Mr. Hasim, owner of the hotel arranged right from arranging pick up and drop Cab from Jodhpur. When we reached Jaisalmer on 11th of Das 13, he explained clearly about sight seeing places, purchase points etc. I was with my family taking two Rooms, Rooms were clean, neat, well maintained and better than a three star property. We could see fort from our Room. Service is excellent, is clean. They have Roof Top restaurant and food service is good and we can enjoy fort view too. They also arranged Desert Tent stay for one day with camel, Jeep safari and Rajasthani cultural show. I suggest hotel Murad. Haveli memorable family stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great stay overall. Service and behaviour of hotel owner Assim and others was very good and friendly. Location is great, in a quiet area a few minutes from the fort. The rooftop restaurant is a great place to chill out, with super fort view. Rooms are simple with wonderful local fabrics. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Highly recommend if you visiting Jaisalmer.

The hotel staff was very kind and helpful with everything. They even offered free showering after a desert tour while I already had checked out of the room. This was amazing. The host is very alerted and the breakfast which was served on the fantastic terrace was great.

Hasim was an exceptional host and went very much out of his way to make sure we had what we needed for our entire stay. He is so welcoming and very interested in us and our travels. I was injured in the town when a bull rammed into me on the street. Hasim went to a drug store and purchased just the right ointment to help me recover quickly. I recommend this hotel highly for anyone traveling in Jaisalmer! We even had a hot shower and the beds are quite comfortable!!!!

The view from the roof top cozy restaurant is the best. Super view of the fort. Perfect distance and angle from the golden fort. Rooms are nicely decorated, decent size. Staffs are nice. Good service. They helped with the luggage.

No lift. Owner needs to focus on the small details, to make it more perfect. There were dark spots on the white pillow covers, they can keep dark color sheets. No shelf below the mirror on the basin to keep something like tooth brush and other stuffs. Hair dryer will be a good addition in the bathroom. Toilet flush was too strong in my room, sometimes water spills out a bit. There was no shampoo in the toilet. They should put liquid soap and shampoo dispenser in bathroom.

The food in the restaurant is excellent and the view of the fort is beautiful from the terrace. The hotel offers many services that make your stay even more comfortable: they pick you up at the airport, they can organize city tours, camel safaris, or simply call a tuk tuk to take you wherever you the service was excellent. Finally, the staff is very friendly, helpful and willing to help. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Haveli, the rooms are superb, spacious, well decorated, impeccable cleanliness!! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Delicious restaurant, we were well advised for the dishes.

Raheem and the other staff were really welcoming, helpful and super friendly. The rooftop is a lovely place to hang out with excellent views of the fort, especially at sunset. We had some very tasty food too! The rooms are super comfortable and very clean! We would definitely stay again. The balcony is more of a beautiful traditional Rajasthan window seat, which is a lovely spot to relax in the room.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful with the Rajasthan windows and shutters. The seated window inlet is lovely, I sat there watching the world go by most afternoons. Clean as a whistle. On the roof top you get the best sunset in town, it's one of the few places you can see the fort as a backdrop. I ate breakfast up there every day and it was great. Raheem contacted me when I was on the train due to arrive in Jaisalmer and said he'd be at the station to pick me up for free and there he was with a card with my name on it which saved me the usual haggling with the many rickshaw guys and getting overcharged. Raheem turned out to be a star who would do anything to make your stay relaxing and easy. And lastly the unbroken panorama of the fort from the roof was incredible. I will return.

Really comfortable stay in a beautiful, clean room. The staff were really friendly and so helpful - Hasim and Rashin were always checking if they could do more, and my mum and I enjoyed chatting with them throughout our stay. All the food prepared there was delicious, and they even sorted a drop off to our ongoing bus (thanks!). Recommend without a doubt - it was one of our favourite places to stay in our three week trip.

Special thanks to Mr Hasim for making us feel so comfortable. We were with kids and he did not leave a chance to entertain them and wngage them. He was exemplary over welcoming and made our trip memorable. The food was palatable and everything was available on order.

A fantastic place to stay. Pragmatically, Murad Haveli is very comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are hot. The difference is Hasim and his brother Rahim. Hasim met us at the station (our train arrived at midnight). tuk tuk to the hotel for a welcoming cup of chai masala on the rooftop, the fort rising up above us is a good way to start. Hasim was very welcoming and a great host. He organised a desert camel trip including a campfire cooked meal in the desert dunes (not at the side of the highway like some tours we heard about). He also took our son shopping in town for a truck lala horn (iykyk) and often joined us for chai on the rooftop terrace This was one of those places where the people make the difference

Such a perfect place here! After visiting another hotel with similar range of price in Jaisalmer, this one is incomparable. One of the best place where we were in Rajastan. Our room was so well designed, comfortable and so many small attentions were given A light & soft perfume is diffused in all the hotel. The staff was so attentive during all our stay here cough ? Ginger tea, train ? Sandwich). We felt like at home. Cherry on the cake, the hotel is very close of the Fort and offer probably one of the best view on it; you can reach the Museum & beautiful old streets in less than 10 minutes by walking. The hotel is a lovely place to stay. The architecture is very traditional and the rooms are in the same golden stone style as the city. The rooms are also decorated in the same style with nice fabrics and solid wood furniture. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. We left our luggage when we went on the desert trip and could have a room to use when we got back. The restaurant on the roof was perfect for meals and views over Jaisalmer and the fort. The food was delicious and the staff very professional and attentive. We booked an overnight desert safari through the hotel and it was the most wonderful experience.Hasim was a great guide and with Mr Durga, they took us to the dunes by camel, cooked us a lovely meal and we spent the night under the stars in a warm bed. We saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise, it was peaceful and tranquil and It really made our holiday in Jaisalmer.

We had a fantastic time here. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are so welcoming and friendly, especially raheem. Each time we came back to the hotel we were offered chai tea ! The breakfast was included in the room rate and was wonderful especially the freshly squeezed juice and masala omelette made just the way I like it. The room was very large with a sitting area and very comfortable bed. The hotel was exceptionally clean and rooms are serviced twice per day with snacks and drinks refreshed. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant The location just near the entrance to the fort is fantastic for sightseeing. This is the place to stay In Jaisalmer.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was hands down the best service, room and facilities we’ve had access to on our 3 weeks in India so far. It was slightly above our daily budget (we are on a long trip), but it was SO worth it. The staff are incredible, they couldn’t have been more kind and friendly to us. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the breakfasts! And there’s complimentary tea, coffee, water, juice, cake etc throughout the day- we did not go hungry! The rooms are immaculate and beautifully designed. Thank you to the hotel, we’ll be back!

We had a great time at Murad haveli We were welcomed with snacks and drinks. The staff was very helpful and always smiling. Whenever we stepped out for an activity; the staff would hand over a bag full of fruits and water. The fort is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was spacious and comforting after all day of sightseeing hustle. We also enjoyed the interesting fusion of Indian flavors at the rooftop restaurant.

Upon arriving we were met with warm greetings from Hasim and the staff. While helping us plan our trip in Jaiselmer, we were provided complementary chai. Hasim organise, a camel trip for us. We were even allowed to pick which room we wanted to stay in, which had a beautiful view of the city and the fort. The hotel had all the ammenities required to make it a wonderful stay. The staff were very accomodating and the food we ate at there was nice and affordable. The arrangements made for the trips around the city highlighted the non touristy but definitely more worthwhile spots around the city. The guide who drove us to the sand dunes, who along with the cameleer Durga Singh, were excellent. We had a great experience sleeping under the stars, and had the most delicious food prepared on an open fire by the the pair, we cannot recommend them enough. Hasim was the most gracious and helpful host, and we only have great things to say about his boutique hotel. Would 100% recommend this place and the tourist activities they facilitate.
