The room was great, the mini fridge was stocked up: there’s water, orange juice, yogurt, Nespresso machine for you to use. It was an amazing experience. Made our stay in Milan feel so much better with the accommodation.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Top Ausstattung, zentrale Lage etwa 1,3 Km vom Duomo entfernt, gute Gastronomie an der Location. Der Gastgeber sorgt auf dem Zimmer bereits für kleine Annehmlichkeiten. Sauber und modern und zudem wirklich schick.
Per se gibt es an der Unterkunft nichts zu bemängeln. Lediglich die Parksituation ist mit Gepäck nicht besonders komfortabel, aber das ist ja ein generelles Problem in Italienischen Städten, die touristisch gefragt sind.

Erityisesti pidimme siitä, että alueella oli runsaasti paikallisten suosimia ravintoloita ja baareja. Iso plussa oli kun yöpymisten välissä huone siivottiin ja jääkaappiin tuotiin uudet vedet, mehut ja jugurtit. Lämmin suositus tälle majoituspaikalle!
Kaikki sujui kuten pitääkin.

I wished I had more than one quick night to enjoy the room and the rain shower head and provided slippers. The location was great and in a very accessible area. There were a lot of restaurants and little shops around but it wasn't a touristy location, more of a local nice neighborhood. Andrea, at the desk, was great and extremely accommodating.
Room was a bit stuffy and couldn't get the AC to really cool the room down on a warm day. It wasn't terrible but the only bed covering was a duvet that was fairly heavy so it was all or nothing. Breakfast was minimal. I appreciate the moodiness of the room but I wished there was a way to brighten things up a little if needed. Also there was a bar down the street that was kind of loud but I'm not sure this is typical.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Zentrale, doch ruhige Lage. Ca 20 Min bis zum Hauptbahnhof per Straßenbahn oder alternativ mit dem Taxi bis zum Bahnhof Cardona mit Direktverbindung zum Flughafen Malpensa. Sehr guter Bäcker und Foccacia-Laden sowie Supermarkt im Umkreis von 5 Gehminuten. Sehr gute Restaurants ebenfalls vor Ort, für Dinner oder Aperitivo. Kleines Frühstück jeden Tag neu im Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher im Zimmer.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Absolutely amazing! 10/10 better than I could even imagine. Beautiful room, spacious, has everything you can possibly need. Very clean and the people who work here are so friendly, understanding and helpful. We stayed only for 2 nights but the stay here made the trip to Milan so much better. The location is very convenient only 15mins walk to the Duomo cathedral, has lots of nice food-gelato places near by. Would definitely stay here again during my next trip to Milan

Reviewed May 22, 2026Easy access to tramline (No9 was literally outside which went direct to Milan Central station. About 50 yards on, was where we caught the No16 which went straight to the Duomo and surrounding area. The quality of furnishings was very good and although some people laugh when I say this, their doors were solid and had a lovely ‘click’. Room was very clean and had good air conditioning which was easy to operate. Lots of bars and restaurants within very easy reach too!

Reviewed May 14, 2026J'ai beaucoup aimé le quartier - Porta Romana - où se trouve Santarella Guest House. Ma chambre, la 32, était grande, très lumineuse avec une lucarne au dessus du lit que je pouvais ouvrir et éclaircir ou assombrir facilement avec un clavier mural très simple d'utilisation. Elle donnait sur la rue mais n'était pas bruyante. Les produits de la salle de bain sont de qualité. Et le restaurant juste en sortant, O' Storia, est devenue ma cantine.
Il y a une petite cuisine cachée derrière deux portes mais j'ai appris à la réception que la plaque à induction ne fonctionne pas. Je n'en avais pas l'utilisation de toute façon mais il y aurait dû avoir un panneau pour l'indiquer.

Reviewed May 14, 2026The rooms are excellently presented - they are clean, cozy, and feel very modern without being cold or bare. I really appreciated the coffee machine and mini fridge as well as a great working hair dryer and VERY comfortable bed! The tram directly across the street is very easy to navigate but you’re also 15-30 minutes to most locations. There are also some great restaurants on the street below and a small supermarket across the street so it’s very convenient.
I liked everything about this property, my only suggestion would be to have separate shampoo and conditioner and a small container of milk in the fridge for the coffee ☺️ but I couldn’t fault anything!

Santarella n'a de guest house que le nom. Nous n'avons vu personne. Tout est automatisé (boîte à clés) comme pour un airbnb. Et les prix sont ceux d'un hôtel de bonne qualité. Grosse déception.
