Отдельный дом, он же вилла. Что может быть лучше? Тихое идеальное место недалеко от достопримечательностей. Отзывчивый и внимательный хозяин, помог с возможностью арендовать скутер для поездок. В доме есть все что нужно для комфортного проживания.

House is very large with a great kitchen and large fridge. Bedroom is also roomy with a cold ac. Place even has a washing machine and a clothes drying area that had clothes dry by the morning. The owner is a great bloke and very knowledgeable who also does tours with excellent english. Place is a bargain at the price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING.

Mooi huis in rustige omgeving en toch niet zo ver van het stadje en bezienswaardigheden. Groot huis met veel faciliteiten. Goede douche! Je kan er gerust een tijdje verblijven. Polonnaruwa vind ik zeker zo mooi en aangenaam als het bekende Anuradhapura. De eigenaar is een gids en doet dat fantastisch. Vertelt geboeid en regelt alles. Je kan hem alles vragen en hij zoekt mee voor een oplossing. Een aanrader om hier te verblijven

nice and quite place, close to the center, the owner is so helpful and easy to reach and provided us a tuktuk with the driver who's very nice too. We had a great time with the owner who is also a guide who took us to the boat safari and authentic sri lankan dinner. It was a great experience.

We had a pleasant stay at Windy Villa. The host was very kind and helpful, and the house itself is really spacious — much bigger than we expected. We especially appreciated having access to a washing machine, which was super convenient during our trip. The location is beautiful, surrounded by rice fields, and very peaceful. However, it’s a bit outside the city, so for solo female travelers, the remote location might feel a little unsettling, especially after dark. Overall, a nice place to stay if you’re looking for some quiet and don’t mind being a bit away from town.

Very spacious, comfortable, well equipped house overlooking picturesque rice fields. Host was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had our own transport so location was great place for us. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The house was all for us. The bedroom had air conditioning, but the rest of the house did not. The area is very beautiful, just outside the city with rice fields all around. Gorgeous! We used the kitchen to make fruit smoothies and the washer for a load of laundry. I liked relaxing in the living room, on the couches. The house is about a 15-minute walk from the city center, so use the Pick Me app to request a tuk-tuk if you don't want to walk. We enjoyed the walk. Hasy and his family built the house, and they came by the first evening to meet us. The next day Hasy guided us around the ruins of the Ancient city. He did a great job! His English is excellent. Overall, we were very happy at Hasy's house. He made sure we were comfortable and happy.

We had a great stay at Windy Villa. Hasitha is very helpful and wants to make sure you have a great experience. We booked the cooking class which we really recommend. We didn’t have time to book a tour of the old city with him but I’d recommend it as well.

The host is a local guide who helped in everything. He is very talented and offered to guide us in the ancient city. He also creating his own YouTube channel so go subscribe soon. Rhe facilities were a major plus like the laundry, AC ,kitchen and gas, as well as smart tv. Mainly you will regret not booking this place.

The whole house to yourself, good mattress & pillows, hot shower, huge living room, equipped kitchen, nice terrace with view on the paddy’s, Washing machine to use for free. Absolutely perfect place to stay.

The host knows perfectly how to behave amongst his guests, everything is a private tour with him. We took the cooking class, the boat tour and the ancient city tour. All have been wonderful. His personality makes the whole visit an amazing experience for all sorts of visitors. The ancient city tour is very well done, very informative and super chill to do. He knows all about the place, is a guide for you too and all with the most friendly smile. He’ll make your experience unique and can even help you to find the right food around town. The villa has a spacious set up, including a washing machine (with detergent even).

Everything. The owner made our stay very pleasant, her organise a motorbike and was open and present for all questions we had. We enjoyed the peacefull surrounding, the bird and the nice green ricepaddyfields.....a pearl.

Whole villa with complete kitchen, living room, dining area and full bathroom. Included all the amenities you want to spend a night. It feels more likely our home rather than a villa. Mr Hasitha is also a helpful and kind person. Best place to stay in Polonnaruwa area.

Very big and spacious beautiful house, our host Mr Hasitha was very informative and knowledgeable. Both Mr Hasitha and Mr Prema ( his father) are really awesome tour guides. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for tours. We booked a tour around Polonnaruwa and Mr Prema was our guide. Also very knowledgeable and is a very fun guide. Highly recommended!

Location is good if you have transport or like to walk. But besides that, everything is perfect :)

The location is great, though it is a bit outside. It´s calm at night and we could hear animals and see lots of stars. The villa has lots of space and a washing machine. Good restaurants are within 15 minutes walking distance. With tuk tuk the ancient city is nearby. Our host was great. He is well versed in english, so communication is no issue. He organised our entire stay, we even did a tour to ancient city with him and he explained a lot. Furthermore the boat safari he organised turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation with wild elephants and birds. He also helped us to get to the next trainstation on time.

We only had tiny issues. A drying rack for your clothing (that you wash for free!) would be nice.

The house is nicely located, very clean and well equipped, especially kitchen. The host was very friendly and caring, accommodating to all our needs. We would definitely come back in the future. Paddy field view was amazing 😍

Spacious villa with kitchen, bathroom, living room and washing machine additional to a spacious bed room. He makes great tours to Pollonaruwas ancient city snd even organizes trips to Minneriya. We recommend staying at Windy villa.

The deal was with no breakfast. The location is very quite and it is ok The villa is new and spacy I like the screen tv and the good wifi. The villa owner was a very helpful and trying his best to offer the best to make us comfortable. My self and my wife are very much liked the mug with our photo printed on it which is been kindly offered to us by Hasitha the villa owner. Hasitha was a real gentleman

The villa needs air conditioning in the lounge room which Hasitha the owner put it on top of the priority list. The bedroom was well air conditioned.

Large, self contained villa at a bargain price. Nice quiet, rice paddy location but easy walk/ride to shops and restaurants.

Having the entire home during our stay was very nice. There is a kitchen equipped well to prepare your own food and a large fridge to store the food. There is a washing machine available, which is very helpful. The bedroom is equipped with an AC, which worked very well and it was very helpful since it was very hot during our stay. The bed was very comfortable and bed linens were very clean. The host is very responsive, ready to help with local recommendations and to be sure that the guests enjoy their stay, which is really nice. The location is very peaceful, about 1 km from the main road, but if you like to walk, you can reach by foot this distance and go to supermarkets, ATMs, bus stops. There are some small shops nearby where you can buy fruits, vegetables and snacks or water. Overall, the ratio price-amenities was very good.

As minuses, there was very hot in the living room and kitchen since there is a concrete slab as roof, so using the fan is necessary very often. Also, some water faucets were quite worn, requiring to be used very carefully.

Our stay at Windy Villa was great! The host was more than welcoming and friendly! He told us all about the places we can visit and activities we can do while in Polonaruva. One of the best things about this place is that it has a washing machine, and that was more than needed on this trip! Oh, yes, the host also welcomed us with some cold beer in the fridge :)

Beautiful, big house that you have all to yourself, in a spectacular natural setting. The host is extremely helpful and obliging. The downside is that the property is a little far from the main road, and not really in walking distance. That means that you are entirely dependent on ordering a tuk tuk (which, it must be added, the host is always ready to do for you.) This is not really a problem, but it is not as easy as being in the town itself.

Location was really nice location in front of paddy field and end of the paddy field, bund of famous Parakrama Samudraya. I suggest guests who stay there, experience the wind come across the paddy field with chilled beer.

Our vehicles battery was dead when we ready to leave. Host was really helpful to replace a new battery for our vehicle.

Windy holiday home was incredible. The space itself was clean, spacious, cute, and comfortable. This was exactly as described and the location was perfect. Instructions for entering the property were clear.

It was the perfect place for my date. All property was ours and no disturbance. awesome view of sunset and sunrise. The food is also amazing. Whoever wants to take a break from their busy lives this is the perfect place. we had some barbeque experience in front of the house.
