Good location. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Little extras were appreciated. Communal kitchen was very useful.

Really well equipped, warm and comfortable.

Long flight of steep stairs. No off street parking. These were clearly explained prior to arriving but still impacted my enjoyment of the stay.

These are not dislikes only recommendations. - A notice to say you can fill jug in laundry. - the front verandah/ guttering was leaking and was spilling water as we went in and out making us very wet! - it would be great to have a front security light to help see!!

Nice big room that was comfortable. Helpful to have the bigger kitchen available.

Winter, so needed to use the heatpump a lot which was a bit noisy overnight. Tiny bathroom basin.

Lovely place near the city centre. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. It was very comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed clean and with everything you might need. Staff was lovely and responsive.

Perfect for me travelling by myself, had everything I needed & great value for money

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Hope Street. The room and facilities were a nice surprise. The location suited us down to the ground and the price paid was very good value. We'll likely return on frequent our visits to Dunedin.

Tidy and spacious room that had everything we need for our 3 night stay. Easy to find too.

Location was excellent and so easy just to walk into Town.

There were no carparks around the area when I arrived so had to park where I could not see my car and then did 3 trips with bags and my fishing gear as did not want to leave anything in the car and thankfully not raining. Later I managed to secure a park across the road and on the last night managed to park right outside. It gets very busy in that area as free parking and close to town.

The room was big and appreciated high ceilings

A sink in the room for the breakfast brand the bed was too hard for my wife. The street parking was also limited. Almost did not get a parking on both days we stayed.

So clean, warm and well appointed. Easy parking and close to town.

Need a bit more room in bathroom to put toiletries

Other than the light issue it was a good stay.

The main light and bathroom light turned off randomly around 8pm and we couldn't turn it back on until the morning which was strange and a bit inconvenient.

The noise from the apartment next door was very loud, the cleanliness of the bathroom was poor, the remaining soap from the previous person still left behind inside the shower box, the kitchen cabinet handle was very sticky and dirty :(

The kitchen has everything I need. Bed is comfy. Room facilities are wholesome. There’s washing machines so it is convenient for travelers.

The heating machine was broken, and the replacement was not enough for our need. The kitchen is at the first floor so you need to take all of your stuff to the floor and bring them back every time you need. The bathroom sink is small that the water spoiled is the must.

The heater didn't work and the room was freezing.

Budget option and sizeable rooms

Heat pump was broken (apparently being replaced next week) and no notification. After 30 minutes of trying to get it to work on a freezing evening this was frustrating. A fan heater was provided but not obvious. Also an ex employee was listed on the in room contact list

Great spot to allow me to walk around most of the must visit spots in Dunedin.

location was good. communication was good. facilities were fair. The initial room i was in had Couple of issues so I was moved to another room

there were a couple of marks on the shower door that must have been missed by the cleaners and the issues which required me to need to change rooms - but it wasn't a major changing

Easy to get there, easy to get to cafes, restaurants and micro breweries. Clean, comfortable with everything you need, Kitchenette in the room as well as a full kitchen with a washing machine and dryer.

Not really a concern but there was only on-street parking available

The Unit was very clean in general for an older property, although in one of the units I stayed in the microwave needed attention

-Room was spacious with good furniture and power outlets. -Street is quiet, and you can hardly notice other guests. -Free washing machines and first load of soap are very helpful. -Staff were quick to respond via text even though building itself is unmanned. -10-15 minute walk to downtown/Octagon and easy access to many bus routes nearby.

-The fire alarm was broken and went off 4x in two days including once at 3am. -The bathroom sink is tiny, and the bathroom is a bit small overall (hard to fill water or clean dishes). -There is only a rubbish bin in the bathroom, none in the room itself. -Our room only had one fork and there were none in the kitchen. -TV didn't have any apps or wifi, so no Netflix, etc.

Great location. Easy access. Clean and comfortable . Loved having a balcony to sit on and watch the city wake up. Full shared kitchen so good for longer stays.

Very spacious. Nice bathroom. Good price. Although we didn't use them, there was a nice shared kitchen and two free laundries (A dollar or two for the dryer).

The shower was lovely and great hot water but the pressure was a bit odd. So powerful, it kind of hurt. Still a great deal to have a private bathroom

Missed having a sink, lounge chair needs maintenance, would have liked some cleaning clothes and products to use over 5 days. If only one or two days would not have mattered. A smart TV would have been nice.

The location which was pretty close to everything, reasonably priced and washing machine facilities. Large (shared) kitchen to cook meals.

Insufficient lamps, only one lamp on one side of the bed, bed was glued to wall so not convenient for two sharing the bed (room was very small and pulling out bed was not really an option), super bright light in bathroom therefore bring a nightlight. Ok facility for 1 or 2 nights.

Lovely Room, with a bit more space than most. Gorgeous view out to a church. Bathroom was small but very sufficient. Kitchenette was well supplied with microwave and fridge and supply of crockery, with fuller kitchen available below. 15–20-minute walk to the octagon and most local eateries. Host allowed me to store baggage at property after check out. Would be ideal for a week or two stay.

Comfortable and cozy, felt like home away from home.

The location was very central to the CBD. The room was clean and tidy and enough for one person. The bed and leather chair were very comfortable.

On arrival the toilet didn’t flush. The landlady organised a plumber to fix but it needed a part so only one side could flush. The iron was unsafe to use as the cord had frayed. Water in the shower took a wee while to heat up.

It was good value for money however the room was very dark with no window much to speak of but very clean and had the basics that I required.

The neighbours, I'm sure there was a halfway house two doors up and no parking. You just had to hope there was no one parked out the front, so home time was stressful as you didn't know if a car park was available.

Appartement spacieux, propre, bien équipé, literie confortable. Très calme, c'est la première fois où je peux dormir sans bouchon et sans masque. Réponse rapide par mail de la part de Nicole si on a la moindre question. J'ai pu me garer facilement dans la rue pendant tout mon séjour mais effectivement plus facile après 17h.
