Conagh View

Nos gustó todo, lo mejor es lo bien preparado que es para niños. La dueña Maria tiene un niño precioso y es muy facil si vas con niños.

Nos ha gustado todo, hay que ir con coche obviamente está en el countryside y la nevera ppr teme de epsacio es pequeña por lo que hay que comprar poquito. Todo estaba muy bien.

Maria has created a cozy, well-appointed, and welcoming space. Everything you need is there. It was beautifully clean. Communication was super clear, and they were there to welcome us when we arrived. We have two little boys, and they were so generous with the use of their garden and toys. It was a blast.

The only issue is, if you're somewhat tall, you will bonk your head on the sloping ceiling. So just be prepared for that because it will happen 😂 But seriously, it didn't even matter because the place is truly terrific. I just sat out on the little landing out the door and stared at the meadows, hills, and sky. It's an exceptionally beautiful location.

Auf unserem letzten Wicklow Way Halt vor der Rückreise nach Dublin übernachteten wir in der Conagh View am Rande von Carnew. Die Unterkunft liegt recht weit entfernt des Wicklow Ways und wäre ohne Shuttle nicht erreichbar gewesen. Die sehr schön gestaltete Ferienwohnung selbst lädt zu einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt ein. Insbesondere der Schlafbereich und das Bad sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Ohne Kevin, der uns vom Weg aufgenommen und am nächsten Morgen zurück gebracht hat, hätten wir unsere Tour so nicht fortsetzen können. Für uns als Wicklow Way Wanderer war die Örtlichkeit somit nicht optimal ausgewählt. Wir freuen uns aber, diese schöne Adresse kennengelernt zu haben.

Maria was an excellent host, explained everything to us on arrival, and gave us local numbers of business we might need. Rural location was lovely to wake up to little rabbits hopping around the field. Would stay here again.

As we arrived, we were greeted so nicely and super welcoming. Shown around straight away. And we already felt like a home away from home.

Everything was perfect. 1000%. We stayed for one night only. But I wish we could have stayed for longer.

La anfitriona nos esperó hasta tarde para darnos las llaves y nos ofreció mucha información útil para nuestro viaje. Durante la noche hubo un apagón de luz y en todo momento nos mantuvo informados de la situación (que era global de la zona). Solo estuvimos 20 minutos sin luz.

Se debería avisar que el techo es bajo en algunas partes de la casa. Los tres nos golpeamos la cabeza en distintas habitaciones de la casa. Y no somos excesivamente altos.

Maria was so welcoming and helpful. The apartment is superb and my children loved the outdoor area and toys provided :) The location was brilliant, peaceful and minutes from Gorey and Court town.

Maria est une hôtesse très sympathique et disponible. Conagh view est un logement confortable, particulièrement bien aménagé et équipé, au calme. La vue est superbe et la présence des lapins amusante. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir car on ne peux que recommander 😉

How quiet it was, but also how close to gorey it is

Such a cosy apartment with ample space. So many lovely details. Maria was so helpful and was at hand if I needed anything at all! I loved watching all the bunnies hopping around the field beside me as well!

our host maria was super friendly and welcoming. the accomodation was very comfortable and just what we needed for a couple nights stay! and there was cows in the fields nearby which was a delight for us.

The location was excelent. The morning view ia a must, with lots of green fields and wild rabbits just running arround. The feeling of being welcome by the owner.

The celling is a bit low in some point and if you are not carefull you can easily hit your head in it (Im not a very tall guy and i've hit it several times).

From first booking to leaving, Maria was always responsive and on hand to advise in accessing the apartment and to answer any queries. The apartment was warm, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could need. The property is located in a rural location along winding and hilly country roads with beautiful views over the countryside. The nearest small town is less than 5 mins drive away where there is a grocery shop and takeaways. It is approximately 15 mins drive to Gorey where there are all the shops, bars and restaurants you’d expect to find in a larger town. We were only there for two nights and would return if we needed to be in that area again for a similar trip.

The apartment was compact but when we arrived we found it more spacious than we expected. There was plenty room for us and our active 6 year old to sleep, hang out and move around. It was a very pleasant apartment overall. The hosts were very welcoming and easygoing, letting our 6yo use their play area and come and go as we pleased. They even left a fresh loaf of soda bread and milk for us on arrival. The only slight drawback is that location is 15 minutes from Gorey which meant we often had to navigate the country roads in the dark. But you are rewarded with a peaceful getaway that felt very private and relaxed, and the views and countryside are great. As we come to see family every year, we will be back to stay for sure. And the price was the best value we could find.
