No wood to braai, empty gas lighter so had to go buy, no coffee machine which is expected in a 4 star rated place. Only 2 sachets of coffee - we were 2 adults staying 2 nights. Got a medium towel and a large towel, inconsistency and no personal touch

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026My host was exceptionally polite and helpful even though I only booked at the last minute. The property was easy to access and the parking was sufficient.
Unfortunately the space had an odor of black mould masked by an infuser... The online description indicated two separate BEDROOMS but there are only two ROOMS in total. i.e. the bedroom has two beds and the living, kitchen and dining space is separated by sliding door. The bathroom is not en-suite to the bedroom. Overall privacy is limited and one has to keep the curtains drawn and the internal lighting on (which is also limited) all making the space quite dark and difficult to ventilate.

Wasserhahn im Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das ist aber jammern auf hohem Niveau.

It’s a small and simple comment and doesn’t take away from how amazing our stay was but I would have liked a bigger shower head and maybe better ventilation in the bathroom.

I can’t think of a better place to spend a summer than in this perfectly weathered place that glares at the face of the ocean. Frieda went the extra mile to alert me of the items I left behind and get it sent back to me. This was such a sweet act! Thanks a mil!
IF you need to get phone calls on MTN – it is a bit unstable. But not unbearable. Remember you are supposed to be there for a technology detox – and relax, enjoy and Face Time with the people WITH YOU!!!! AND ENJOY the sea and views!!!
