The property is a gem. Everything works. Everything was spick and span and squeeky clean. Everything was there, you only need to bring yourself, clothes and food. I would definitely stay again when I am in the area, wouldn't even shop around. Gave it a 10 because there is no 11 available on the scale!

Absolutely nothing.

I liked that we were in an area where we could travel during the day and explore. The kitchen was very nice with decent appliances. It was very quiet and Peacefull. In the vintage typing machine was a message typed for us which was very special.

The view was not so great as expected. Down where we were sitting outside, we felt like we were sitting in the front yard in another little town. The aircon helped alot in the room, but would suggest another one in the living room.

Beautiful, modern, well appointed, and very relaxing. The host, Gavin, went above and beyond to assist us on a holiday when shops and restaurants closed early.

A cabana é muito espaçosa e confortável. A cozinha possui todos os utensílios para preparar um lanche ou uma refeição simples. Não tivemos a oportunidade de usar a parte externa da casa, mas ela é agradável e bem equipada. A cabana tem wi-fi, o que é bastante util, porque o sinal de nosso telefone era fraco.

A cabana é muito isolada, o que pode gerar uma sensação de insegurança. E por estar situada próxima a estrada, o barulho dos carros e caminhões pode incomodar quem estiver na área externa da cabana.

Everything just fine, lovely people

Loved the spaciousness of cottage, kitchen fully equipped, bed clean and soft. The Host Gavin and Sonja went above and beyond what was expexcted... Wow! Coming from hospitality background this really wowed me! Well done to them! Anyone in need of overnight accommodation THIS is the place.

Very responsive and incredibly welcoming, Sonja and Gavin were the most helpful hosts. The cabin is a lovely modern surprise tucked away in the middle of serenity. It was a shame we had to cut our stay to just one night due to delays with our international flights. My husband and I would definitely love to come back—hopefully during a season when we can enjoy the super cool outdoor shower! We absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique getaway.

The hosts are friendly, accommodating and helpful at all times. The rustic yet modern-built bush cottage is nestled privately in the heart of nature, situated in a beautiful tranquil neighborhood close to Hoedspruit town with shops and restaurants. It is not even an hour's drive to Orpen Gate, to visit the much loved Kruger National Park. Sonja and Gavin go to great lengths to make sure one feels welcome and at ease. Aside from the place being spotless, extra attention has gone into making sure that you have everything you need. With a well-maintained garden and its impala lelies in bloom, hidden gems welcome any bird lover. The house provides safe parking and a braai & boma area to enjoy, with the Blyde River Canyon as a backdrop. A private outdoor shower under the stars gives this stay that added unique experience. Thank you for your hospitality.

Could not stay longer.

no collection of keys and no return of keys, accommodation was open and keys were left in the door. Access through gate with prior given codes makes it very easy.

It is a little bit close to a road that is fairly busy

Everything - the peace and quietness. The nature and mountains around us were breathe taking. The cabin is very modern, and fully equipped. We will surely return to Cosy Corner.

Everything inside and outsite, attention to details. The bed was comfortable. Hot water and AC was very nice to have. The facility has a well equipped kitchen. The landscaping was impeccable. Too bad, we were there only one night.

Not to the owner fault, the day we were there the area was targetted for load shedding hence we could not fully benefit on what this property had to offer. However, the host was very accommodating by starting the generator for water for shower after a long day.

The property was gorgeous, super clean, easy to access and has everything you need for a wonderful stay.

There is nothing not to like, everything was excellent.

There are mice or animal in the ceiling but we were so tired it didn’t bother us to sleep

There’s nothing i didn’t like about the property

Argh it's such a beautiful place, we hate the fact we could not stay abit longer as we were too busy experiencing the area. Definitely worth coming back.

One thing I did notice, GPS isn't accurate, but place well marker and noticed when we drive past.

Very well-equipped tiny house with everything we needed. The hosts Sonja and Gavin are very kind and communication is easy. Thank you for everything, we would always come back here.

The location is close to a lot of sites. Lots of animals to see, like red head lizards, monkeys, giraffes, oh and they have a lion farm next door to the property so that was cool too.

When the power goes it, the water does too because they use an electric pump to get water from the tank.

It is a wonderful place. Fantastic. Could not fault anything. I did meet Gavin and he was a fantastic host. I am really glad we booked there. Excellent

Imagine someone built the perfect country cottage and then handed you the keys to the door. That is exactly how we felt. The design and furnishings are of the highest quality, with everything you need provided. Sonja and Gavin are excellent hosts, and all our needs were catered for immediately. We loved that the cottage is far enough outside of Hoedspruit to give you the bushveld experience, but close enough to everything. I will never get enough of the view from the porch.

That Gavin built the cabin, from top to bottom is quite impressive and very well thought out.

I wish more dish towels and bathing towels were available in the cabin. 1 set of bath towels for 5 nights isn’t enough.

I truly love the place. Everything you need for a relaxing stay with numerous extras. Gavin actually built the place and you can feel the love put into the house. I want to live there!

The cabin was neat and in a very good condition. Relaxing music was playing which created a relaxing atmosphere. All needs were met for self catering and great facilities.

It is difficult to find fault as all needs were catered for to ensure a relaxing stay.

Our host Gavin was very kind and accommodating in every respect. The accommodation was extremely clean and everything we needed was available. We were very well placed to visit our family in Kampersrus with ease. We spent four very comfortable nights in our accommodation and I would definitely book at Cosy Corner again.

The loadshedding time slots resulted in no water for showering as the pumps need electricity.

The owners are the most lovely people you will ever meet. They will try to do everything so that your stay is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The cottage is designed with very good taste and great attention to details. It is equipped with everything you will ever need during a stay. Even the braai was set up when we arrived, you could just put some steaks on the grill and you would have dinner. From the terrace you have a lovely view of the mountains, a perfect setting for that morning coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed for longer.

I could live here! It has all the amenities, the kitchen is great and the space is amazing. The owners are next level!

Everything stood out. Every possible facility and equipment you required was made available. Somwthing Id reccomwmd they advise and take advantage of is that the place is 20mins from Blyde River Canyon boat cruise. Gavin came to welcome us and offered a few pages of places you can visit, along with local restaurant menus and even contact details. It was an exquisite stay.

The only slight fault which wasnt too big of a deal was the hot water in the shower would momentarily turn cold and back hot again. This would last about 1-2 mins before hot water would kick back in again.

Beautiful cottage that has everything you need (and more). The cottage is lovely designed and everything is very clean and tidy. One can hear the hyenas and lions calling at night from the reserve next door. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Gavin and Sonja for hosting us

We loved everything about the place,the cabin was super beautiful ,well designed and decorated, it was very comfortable and intimate. The host was welcoming and friendly and made our stay exceptionally great. I had a great weekend staying at cosy corner. I would definitely visit again.

What an amazing place! The accommodation was so neat and pretty and it had everything you could wish for. There is even an air fryer. The view from the "stoep" was amazing as you looked out over the Mariepskop mountains. They also cater for you with wifi and a light when there is loadshedding. We were absolutely amazed at this lovely accommodation and would recommend this to everyone looking for a place to stay in Kampersrus.

There is nothing that we did not like.

This place far exceeded our expectations. The hosts were so welcoming when we arrived even though they didn’t know we were coming (as we booked late and due to load shedding they didn’t get our booking). They even wrote us a welcome note with our names on it. And they had a little battery box for the wifi during load shedding if needed. The cottage has just been finished and is the most well equipped self contained place we’ve stayed in. It’s very close to blyde canyon and Kruger.

New and spacious cottage, built by the owner. It includes everything you need and more. Really good bed and good shower. The space outside is lovely with good braai area and fireplace. Recommended.

The view of the mountains, the cosyness & decor inside of the cabin was absolutley beautiful ! :) :) The owners was super accommodating, and very nice !!

The parking, no cover for vechile and feels a little too exposed.
