Excellent room and very comfortable. Great location in the middle of Bewdley.
Shower facilities were a bit tight , but does not detract from your stay.
Have stayed here 3 times before as we just love the place so much. Love the fact that you have to have a code for both the outer door on the alleyway and the front door, plus a key to the room, which makes us feel very secure. Always clean and comfortable and a few metres from the High Street which houses the museum, plus lots of shops, bars and restaurants and there is even a local brewery, fantastic.
The only issue is the fact that there is only one parking bay allotted to The Coach House, but in Bewdley there are a few pay-to-park car parks. The George (Wetherspoons) seems to be the only place with a car park.
Love the location in the centre of Bewdley. You can easily reach the shops and bars with just a short walk. Comfy beds with a Tassimo machine
Good location
No breakfast, no staff. Stained carpet, hair on the bathroom mat. The grey panels make the room dark. The design looked amateurish.
Great rooms - really good value. Only can’t comment on staff because it’s unstaffed concept. But was clean and felt very newly decorated. Good amenities with a coffee machine. Nice shower and plenty of towels.
Really central spot so brilliant for seeing the town on foot but you have to pay to park your car nearby.
It was clean, the deco was stylish, had a smart tv, iron, games, coffee machine. It has a cosy feel. Also, the Instructions were clear to get into the property and parking was reasonably close enough.
By far the worst of it all is the bed possibly the mattress in the main bedroom that was broken/damaged. This made for the worst sleep I’ve had in years and there was no way I could have stayed two nights in that bed. This was a negative impact on my stay and I would scored the property 6 because of this, otherwise could have been an 8. The window in the main bedroom was broken, there was a makeshift fix over it but still left the room with a draft and noisy when there was traffic. The hot water ran out, though admittedly this was after a long shower by my two young children. Whilst bearable, I would have preferred the suite warmer, it would have been ideal to have been able to regulate the room temperature ourselves.
The location , it was within walking distance to the centre.
On arrival at the room bathroom hadn't been checked properly - waste in toilet and rubbish in bin from previous guests
Close to town centre
Stayed last year clean quiet no problems highly recommend
Great location, very well decorated with everything you need. The owners have put a lot of love into this place. Tea and coffee provisions were very good, nice size room with plenty of space and comfy bed. I parked in Dog Lane, about 5 mins walk, £7 for 24 hours. Easy access to anywhere in Bewdley town.
The duvet was a thick hot duvet which was a bit much for August, providing a lighter alternative would have really helped.
Good location, clean and comfortable. Excellent hot drinks selection.
Unable to open the window for fresh air and fire risk.
Fantastic location, interesting property full of character
Property was great, nothing not to like (would just have liked a fridge big enough for beer and wine!)
Really easy check in, very comfortable beds. Lovely location with easy parking
Nothing
Very nicely decorated and lovely sized rooms. We also had a wonderful view
Had someone a bit noisy above us but that could happen anywhere
Everything
Perfect room for my young family. Fantastically decorated and every detail thought of.
The streets are narrow which does make it awkward to unload and load the car but that's no fault of the property.
Beautifully presented with everything you need very reasonably priced ! Lovely place
There was nothing I didn't like
The room was clean , bed was comfortable, lovely little terrace just outside our room so we could sit outside, good selection of tea and coffee. Shower was roomy and great pressure coming from it.
Clean and comfortable
Nothing
The room was beautifully decorated, bed was so comfortable and the bedding was super soft
There was nothing I didn't like about it
I was so happy with how clean and tidy the whole place was. Beds were comfy. We had everything we needed in the room. Really enjoyed our stay.
Location
Unfortunately, when we arrived the keys were not in the box for us so had to wait to be let in, the wait wasn’t long but after a long drive …. WiFi in the room was not great, but you could get a signal in the bathroom. The room itself was lovely and comfy… and very clean It was a minute walk to the Main Street so excellent location .
Comfortable, nice period features in a great location
Great location, very simple self check-in process. The room are very well executed, comfy bed, quality pod coffee machine, mini fridge. Very good shower, decent towels and quality complimentary shower gel and shampoo. I’ve not stayed here for a good while, I remember staying very shortly after opening and the rooms are still just as good. Sets a very high bar for accommodation in the area.
Nothing
Great location. Easy access. Parking nearby. Well appointed room.
The communal lounge area would benefit from some cutlery for using with take away meals.
The location was great. We were told about the lack of on site parking and were able to use the BnB private space. It was spacious and very clean. Loved the coffee machine, hot shower and plenty of towels.
Cannot think of anything.
Fabulous suite lots of room Well Appointed fantastic shower
Bath sheets not small bath towels
It was in a great location near to restaurants and bars. The communication from the owners was excellent and the rooms very well presented. The beds were very comfortable and there was complimentary water, tea/coffee provided.
It was quite hot, a fan was provided which helped. It would have been nice to have a proper mini fridge in each room.
Comfortable room, tastefully decorated. Plenty of space. Thoughtful extras like books / tea & coffee / mini fridge
Noise! The property deserves 5 stars in all areas apart from the most important one; the ability to provide the means for a good night’s sleep. Avoid if possible rooms overlooking the street. I stayed on a Friday night & even with ear plugs, was constantly woken by pub noise, traffic, church bells that ring every quarter and revellers returning home at dawn.
Lovely room brilliant location
Great location,l lovely room
Convenient for me and quiet with no road noise.

Tout était parfait
Rien
Very easy check in procedure, clear instructions. Lovely extra touches in the room. Excellent location. No breakfast provided, but plenty of options within five minutes walk, including Wetherspoon !
The area is perfect. Extremely clean, lovely extras such as the coffee pods. Airfryer was very handy. It was lovely.
The pull out bed was awful! Luckily we had children staying on it but this could do with replacing/upgrading.
Absolutely everything, it was clean and cozy and literally had everything you needed. It was a perfect stay and we will definitely be booking again.
There was nothing not to like.
Great location, easy access and very clean
We had a lovely stay at the Clockhouse. It had everything we needed for a short stay. Having 2 spaces (living room and bedroom) meant we didn't have to go to bed at the same time as our son. The property is a lovely old building with lots of charecter and history but is modern and comfortable inside. Easy access and central to Bewdly.
Great location, beautifully and thoughtfully designed - great coffee machine
Comfortable good location quiet, fans were good in the heat
The fridge was tiny could really benefit from a bigger fridge . Couldn’t find the door fobs mentioned
Smooth check in. Very clean with good facilities. Top spot
Our second stay , rooms are lovely ,beds comfortable brilliant location in town.
N.A
Great little room, great location. Room very comfortable, had good nights sleep. Loved the little extras provided, tea , coffee ( including pods for coffee machine), biscuits and bottles of water.
The fridge provided was minute !!! Could have done with a bigger fridge, especially in this heat. The fridge was the little fridge for just about 4 cans!!! Also we did have problem with parking. The space provided by owners of The Clockhouse was vacant, but we could not park in it, as the space next to it was against the wall, had a car and van parked in it. This meant if we left our car in the space provided the van would not be able to get out of his space and may have damaged our car if he tried!!!! There was not any room for him to get an angle to come out of the space. This meant a big bill for parking charges in the car parks in Bewdley. So there isn’t a car parking space guaranteed.
Exceptional stay! This beautifully furnished historic building perfectly balances traditional charm with modern comfort. My ground-floor room was spotless, peaceful, and well-maintained with a comfy bed and modern bathroom. The owners clearly care about their guests with the attention to detail, adding lovely touches like a coffee machine with pods and delicious biscuits. Contactless check-in via smart access codes was seamless. Wish I stayed longer, Thank you!
It was a little tricky to unload my bags from the car. Probably best to try and park up somewhere first.
Nice and cool, quiet, access instructions were clear. Good shower, tv, WiFi. For us it was perfect location for a short stay.
Our room on ground floor might not be suitable for a longer stay as it is quite dark and small though there is a nice residents lounge. Lack of parking might be a problem for some.
Very Good location, accommodation decor very tasteful, also very clean
Riom a little smaller than expected, fridge was so tiny which was a shame as was room for a small under counter
Lovely room . Liked everything
Close to town and cleanliness
Tye bathroom towels are too small and the fan wasn't very good for a hot evening.
Perfect location. Well informed before you get to the apartment. Nice, clean, and comfortable .
All great apart from WiFi
Easy to access, clean room, good location
Tiny fridge which didn’t work, dark room & no wardrobe
Good location, lovely quiet location. Helpful staff
No parking included, spent £10 at a nearby car park.
Local to town
The heat, it was over 40 degrees and the window didn’t open much
Great location. Lovely rooms. Very well decorated. Comfy beds. Good tea and coffee facilities. Easy key collection. I’ve stayed several times and would do again.
Location is excellent. Great decor Comfy beds.
Didn’t like all the stairs to the top. Next time, I’ll need to book a ground floor room
Good location, clean room, clear easy to follow checking in instructions, comfy bed, well presented room on arrival.
Poor WiFi
Bed, coffee facilities, location
Bathroom, shower very cramped with door opening inwards and slippery base
From the point of booking to our actual stay the communication from the Clockhouse was great, very informative and responded quickly to all enquiries. The room itself was self check in accessed through security doors - from the main street. The appearance from the outside is clean quaint and in keeping with the area. The communal areas are well lit and very clean. The room itself was absolutely lovely - the pictures on site don't really do it justice. The decor is beautiful with a period fireplace , stunning features and lovely personal touches. The bed was lovely and comfortable with quality bedding. The selection of hot drinks available was extensive , including a coffee machine with a variety of pods to choose from. There was also bottled water and even a little fridge to chill them in. Plus several packs of biscuits. Plenty of towels supplied and toiletries. There is also access to a lounge area on the ground floor - where there are comfortable seats to relax and a table where you can eat your own food. The lounge also has plenty of books that you can borrow to read. All in all it was a perfect stay in a perfect location , in a very charming property. Would definitely stay again 🥰
nothing - perfect
Very comfortable
WiFi not very good
Great location. Very clean and tidy room.
Only small thing is creaking floor boards from apartment above and could hear the guy talking quite clearly. Minor issue but understandable in an old house.
Central location, clean and functional. Good shower and comfortable bed
Nothing particularly
Our third stay at this location - ideal for our needs and not far from the local breakfast pub Had a mini fridge added this year which was great. Easy to use shower and comfy bed
Clean, spacious & comfortable.
it was on the first floor not on ground floor like we said
be on the ground floor
We liked virtually everything about the property. It was very clean, well-equipped with a comfortable bed and easy-to-use shower. Excellent for our overnight stay in Bewdley and exactly as advertised..
There were three factors that stopped our review being perfect. Car parking was a bit of a pain. We managed to find the room's own parking space but it's a fair distance from the property and, crucially, it was shorter than our car - an Audi A6... The public, paid, car park is much closer and handy but because of the time/pricing bands I found I had ro leave a restaurant mid-dinner to top up the parking fee. I found that it was very difficult to open the bedroom window, desirable as the evening was very warm. But having the window open at night wouldn't have been a good idea as there is a late-opening pub/club nearby, on the same street, and there was quite a lot of noise, especially when the place closed in the early hours. This seems like a lot of niggles, which is a shame as the property is, overall, a good place to stay when visiting Bewdley.
Lovely old characterful building in a quiet setting. Had thought of everything we could need - great pre arrival instructions and advice and welcome pack
All of it.
The corners on the bed in the Jubilee apartment are lethal. My husband and I both have bruises on our knees.
Well situated. Loved the layout of our suite and the furnishings
Nothing really. Parking isn’t the best however it’s the same everywhere in Bewdley
The property was very clean and homely, it was small but it meant the kids couldn’t get up to mischief without us knowing! Everything smelt so fresh and clean and everything was of good quality.
To be honest there wasn’t anything but if I was to be picky I would say maybe a freezer part for the fridge and a hob system although we were able to cook our pizza in oats in the air fryer so everything worked out fine. I also understand it’s a very small apartment so hard to fit everything.
Very clean and tidy and my room was cleaned whime I was there very handy for local amenities
WiFi wasn't the best
Very well presented accommodation. Nice 'attention to detail' extras such as coffee machine with pods ( usually you would pay for these ) Very clean and well kept. Fantastic walk in shower. Overall very well eqipped.
Noise from late night drinkers at pub closing time, but this isn't the fault of the Clockhouse or It's owners.
Excellent, very well looked after facilities
Location
Very comfortable and spotless and good location . Stopped in a few different locations in bewdley this is by far the best . I will stop here again .
Everything, it could not have been improved upon
Nothing
Fantastic room well decarated and set up
Nothing
Great location and good facilities meeting basic needs in the accomodation. Responsive team to any requests. We have stayed at this establishment a few times now and is our regular accomodation.
Location was perfect and the place was lovely
Lovely decorated clean room, perfect location in the town
Clean and comfortable, easy access and great location
Beautifully decorated clean and central
No hairdryer
Confortable bed and pillows, good selection of refreshments, lovely decor and great location
Had to ask for heating to be turned on.
No parking quite expensive car parks
Quaint building and room. Would love to know its history
