Eine absolute Wohlfühloase mitten in der Medina. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, mit Kind, bei über 40°. Vermieter waren immer ansprechbar und kümmerten sich um sämtliche Belange und Wünsche.

Un havre de paix à quelques minutes de la vibrante Médina! Un accueil chaleureux de Benoît et un petit-déjeuner excellent concocté par Fatima tous les matins. Le riad est très confortable, spacieux, la piscine, la terrasse et le wifi très appréciés! Je ne peux que vous recommander cette excellente adresse! Merci Benoit pour tous les conseils! au plaisir de revenir prochainement :)

Accueil de Benoît et organisation de notre semaine en famille. La présence de Fatima toujours bienveillante et une excellente cuisinière ! Nous garderons un superbe souvenir de ce séjour au riad Dowaya!

Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame host. Heerlijk verzorgd ontbijt. Mooi gedecoreerde en sfeervolle riad.

Met mijn lengte en gebrek aan lenigheid vond ik het authentieke meubilair binnen persoonlijk niet heel comfortabel zitten…

Nous avons séjourné au riad Dowaya à Marrakech en famille (cinq personnes) et l’expérience a été très positive. L’accueil de Benoît a été particulièrement remarquable : chaleureux, attentif et constamment disponible. Il a su se montrer à l’écoute et très aidant tout au long du séjour. Il a également partagé avec nous de précieux conseils pour découvrir la ville, notamment l’idée de visiter l’ancienne médina en tuk-tuk. Cette expérience a été formidable et a vraiment enrichi notre séjour. Le riad est situé dans un quartier authentique, ce qui permet une immersion réelle dans la vie locale de Marrakech. C’est un vrai point fort pour ceux qui recherchent une expérience plus traditionnelle. Le cadre est très paisible, loin de l’agitation touristique. Seul léger inconvénient : l’éloignement relatif de certains lieux de restauration, même si cela reste gérable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner inclus, ainsi que la présence de Fatima, dont la gentillesse et la bienveillance apportent une touche humaine et chaleureuse supplémentaire au lieu. Le riad en lui-même est magnifique : les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût, le design est soigné, et les espaces communs sont très agréables. Le bassin, les oiseaux, les arbres et les fleurs créent une atmosphère apaisante. La terrasse est également superbe. C’est un endroit idéal pour un séjour calme et ressourçant, dans un cadre esthétique et authentique.

We loved the whole experience of staying at the Riad. There was plenty of space for a family and great facilities. It was well located in a quiet area, but within walking distance of the souks and restaurants. Fatima’s breakfasts were incredible!

Vackert som inget annat! Stor härlig terrass och ligger i en gammal del av stan. Jättenära marknader och turistplatser. Värdarna var helt otroliga! Dom gjorde vår resa extra fantastisk. Fatima frukost var enastående. Allt var perfekt vi hade inte kunnat bo bättre

It was right in the center and we could walk to the main square through alleyways in about 15 mins. It was traditional but still very nicely renovated. The host was beyond exceptional and Fatima the housekeeper was lovely although conversations were limited as she spoke no English

Prachtige Riad in authentieke stijl waar we met z'n vijven verbleven. We hadden de Riad geheel voor onszelf en dus erg veel privacy. Heerlijke rustige plek om je even terug te trekken uit de drukte van de Medina. Heerlijke ontbijtjes met attente gastvrouw en gastheer.

Prachtige riad, mooi gezellig en traditioneel ingericht ,hele behulpzame eigenaar, en Fatima zorgde elke ochtend voor een heerlijk ontbijt en opgeruimde kamers. Lopen naar het centrum is 15 tot 20 minuten, maar voor ons geen probleem, zo zagen we allerlei kanten van de medina dat was juist erg leuk.

Bezaubernd schönes Riad, jeden Morgen leckeres Frühstück und frisch aufgeräumt. Der Vermieter ist jeden Tag Vorort und unterstützt bei allen Anliegen.

Authentic Marrakesh Riad experience

Alles! Wunderschöne Unterkunft, sehr komfortabel, mit vielen Badezimmern und diversen Ecken zu sitzen. Extrem sauber. Sehr liebevoll vorbereitete Mahlzeiten, serviert auf einer lauschigen Dachterrasse. Hilfsbereitschaft und Gastfreundlichkeit von den Gastgebern kann man nicht toppen (sehr unkomplizierte Kommunikation vorab mit vielen Hinweisen, früheres Check-in, Transfer vom Flughafen, späteres Check out als wir krank wurden, Unterstützung bei Auto-Vermietung, Apotheke, usw.). Vielen Dank!

L’accueil et les installations sont top !

L’ambiance, un cocon parfait pour se reposer et se couper du bruit de la médina. La piscine qui est suffisante pour se rafraîchir, la terrasse en toit le matin et le soir pour prendre le petit déjeuner et le repas du soir (grande, belle), l’emplacement : facile d’arriver dans le centre de la médina et en même facile d’accéder à l’extérieur pour prendre les taxi (visites extérieurs, aéroport). Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et de qualité ! Si vous avez une question, vous avez une réponse très rapide.

We had a wonderful stay at the riad in Marrakesh! Benoit and Fatima were not only incredibly kind, but they truly made us feel at home. Each morning, they prepared a beautiful and delicious breakfast that we all looked forward to—our children especially loved it! One evening, Fatima cooked a traditional couscous dinner for us, and it was honestly the best meal we had in all of Morocco. The riad itself is absolutely stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details and high-quality accessories. From the intricately carved doors to the serene indoor pool, every corner makes you feel like royalty. We loved every moment there. It truly is an oasis of peace and coolness, just a few meters away from the vibrant, dusty, and endlessly charming streets of the ancient Medina. Highly recommend!

No complaints! All was perfect! :)

Nothing in this world is perfect but this place came close. Do set your expectations correctly, you are staying in a private Riad, not a big public Riad with many people. This is also not a big hotel. This is more like a bed & breakfast elegant and beautiful home. Muriel the owner is very sweet, caring, kind and has a down to earth personality. She is French and speaks & teaches Spanish and a little bit of English. Fatima is the Riad attendant that comes daily to take great care of your needs! She cooks breakfast, cleans and can also cook dinner if you reserve it ahead with Muriel. They both work together to give you the best experience. The location of the Riad is great so it’s not too close to the chaos but not too far either. You can walk through the souks and reach the Ben Youssef in 10mins! This place is a gem and I’m so lucky to have found it. The people here are very kind and Fatima always welcomes you with a smile whether she is cooking or cleaning. They are honest and very gracious hosts. There is parking about 10min walk from the Riad which was only 90 dh for 3 full nights. Muriel recommended the parking named Babylan. They have WiFi in the middle part (1st floor) but slower on the main floor of the Riad. They have been trying to get it fixed but the repair man may need to come back and fix again. Although, the WiFi is very sufficient for us since we have a really cheap SIM card. 50 dh is 6gb of internet. So Wifi really is ok for when we needed it. The Riad has a lot of bathrooms and comfortable rooms. They have plenty of birds that visit the middle section. So it feels very natural especially when we wake up to the sound of the birds. They have a beautiful terrace at the top where we ate breakfast daily. Fatima is a great cook! The trees & 2 big umbrellas upstairs in the terrace make great shade. The washer is very convenient being on the top so you can easily fry your clothes.

No big problems but the public area outside is a bit smelly & dirty but that’s normal there. Sometimes we had some cockroaches come in the bottom room.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Riad Dowaya. A beautiful riad,clean,bright and airy. Gorgeously decorated in the traditional Moroccan style, very comfortable beds,lots of hot water,delicious breakfast each morning. Great communication with the owners. A fabulous riad!

The Riad is absolutely beautiful, and the pool is perfect for cooling off at the end of the day. Benoit, the owner, is incredibly friendly and generous with his time - he went above and beyond when helping us to enjoy our stay, and Fatima created delicious breakfasts for us every day. We loved everything about our stay here and will be back!

Benoit and Muriel have put a lot of dedication to make this place a really enoyable home to stay in. Above and beyond service!
