JOALI BEING

My stay at Joali Being Maldives exceeded every expectation I had. This was my fifth visit to the Maldives, and without question, my best experience so far. I was initially skeptical, as Joali is not part of a major international hotel chain like Hilton, Four Seasons, or Marriott, but they exceeded them in every way possible. A special thank you to Osama, Yousif, Rahim, Mocco at Flow, and Dr. Dhanraj Shetty for their exceptional hospitality and professionalism throughout the stay. The level of care and attention from the entire team was outstanding. The chef was also incredible and always willing to prepare almost any dish we requested, even if it was not on the menu, which made the experience feel truly personalized. What also stood out to me was how the hotel genuinely seems to care for its staff in a very unique and respectful way, and you can clearly feel that positive atmosphere throughout the entire resort. The staff genuinely did their absolute best to make our holiday exceptional in every detail. Combined with what is probably the best spa and wellness facilities in the Maldives, Joali Being created an experience that felt both luxurious and deeply relaxing. Highly recommended, and I will definitely return.

Absolutely nothing

My spouse and I stayed for a week at Jolie Being Island in the Maldives, and it was an unforgettable experience. The island is entirely dedicated to wellness, and the spa was simply breathtaking. The entire staff, the team, everyone was incredibly professional. It felt like they were handpicked, honestly. They took such great care of us, surprising us every day with thoughtful gestures. We were absolutely blown away and couldn’t be more satisfied. We went diving in the sea, which was amazing, and the spa treatments were out of this world. The wellness center also offered Yoga and Pilates classes, which added to the overall relaxation. Truly an exceptional

The only issue we encountered was the lack of outlets near the bed. It made it a bit inconvenient to check emails or handle work calls comfortably, as I had to stand to use my phone each time. It was a little tiring.

Já viajamos bastante por excelentes hotéis pelo mundo, foi nossa terceira vez em Maldivas e NADA se compara a esta experiência. Primeiro a localização é perfeita com vida marinha incrível, vimos tartarugas, tubarões, raias, e milhões de peixes coloridos bem em frente ao nosso bangalô que por sinal é maravilhoso, espaçoso, piscina com borda infinita, banheiro maravilhoso, realmente surpreendente. O hotel tem a maior academia das Maldivas, super tecnológica, um SPA indescritível, fizemos watsu, four pillar massagem e aproveitamos muito a área de relaxamento e uma área linda e super cheirosa onde tem uma querida atendente farmacêutica que faz seu chá como você preferir. O hotel inteiro é de muito bom gosto, clean, luxuoso na medida certa, com tudo impecável. A comida é excelente e muito variada. Deixamos por último para falar do melhor, o ATENDIMENTO, o GM é impecável, todos os funcionários te tratam pelo nome e sabem todas as suas preferências. O nosso butler era maravilhoso (John) e o staff do restaurante, spa, academia, enfim…todo o time nos emocionou, sim, nos emocionou como nos fizeram nos sentir especiais a todo momento. Só tem uma coisa ruim, nunca mais vou querer conhecer outro hotel quando voltar em Maldivas.

I didn't plan to post all my photos and write this much, but... I cannot skip it. I have visited many countries, many top hotels, and resorts, but nothing compares to Joali Being. From the moment you arrive at the airport, until the last step, everything is organized as a perfect 10/10. Where to begin? The resort is new and probably the most modern in the Maldives. I thought UAE had the best hospitality, but no place has even come close to the professionalism of the staff here. The food is top-notch. I ate the best steak, breakfast, and much more. I would write what I recommend, but probably it's worth trying anything. Even though you have to pay for most of the activities, including for simply using the tennis field, I strongly recommend doing the organised activities, because the experience is unique and incomparable. I am very sorry that I skipped many of them, until I had the first ones and realized how they do things. The houses are impeccable, very inspirational in terms of architecture and design. I could write more, but... will leave just this: if you have a chance to try this resort, even for just 4-5 days, try it and it will inspire you for life about how things should be done. Breakfast was one of the most exceptional ones we had in the last years. An outstanding selection of individually crafted items, especially ones that you don't see on any other breakfast buffet - like fermented fruit and vegetables, homemade compressed fruit and homemade nut butters. Absolutely fantastic and in line with the property's health/wellbeing proposition. In general, all food and beverages were outstanding and fully aligned with the property's value proposition. Especially the non-alcoholic cocktails were absolutely exceptional and nowhere else have we seen such efforts. Spa therapies were fantastic, and the two therapists we had (Ms. Gaa and Ms. Miau) were not only giving fantastic deep-tissue massages, but also consulted us on selecting the right treatment. During the treatment, they adapted the programme according to muscle tensions they found in our body. These therapists are outstanding and I have not seen such professionalism elsewhere. The island itself is really beautiful, yet small, and has a fantastic house reef that is good for snorkeling.

The WiFi connection was not really stable - not a big issue if you're on a wellness retreat where you are supposed to relax, but still something that could be improved. Also, the Spa reception was a bit disorganized.
