Kudafushi Resort & Spa

Friendly stuff and place is clean

A bit far from Male but the seaplane experience worth it.

Her şey harikaydı. Tüm personel çok güler yüzlü ve ilgiliydi. Temizdi. İmkanları oldukça iyiydi.

Çalışanlar çok ilgili güler yüzlüydü. Otelin geneli ve odalar çok temizdi. Günde 2 kez temizlik için odaya geliyorlar. Su güzeldi. Oteldeki imkanlar yeterli. Yemekler lezzetli. Farklı ülkelerin mutfağını da deneyimleme olanağına sahip. Balayı için harika.

Sadece konum olarak şehir merkezine uzak

The manager is doing a great job. Staff is generally sweet and helpful. I essentially live in the spar. The staff there are professional and exceptionally well trained ❤️. I could go on suffice to say I enjoyed my stay.

The last day introduced me to staff that were a bit different.

It was a wonderful stay. Thanks to Samir made our stay easier.

The buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are excellent, with fresh grilled fish and meat to choose from. A selection of baked goods, ice cream, and fresh fruit are also available.

Niente

Nice villa and property, two rain showers with one being outside, room cleaned twice per day, amazing warm ocean and beach, great selection of breads and pastry.

Fruit selection was limited and some fruits were not ripe

Gorgeous water/island, good food, friendly staff (Niko took great care of me), comfortable room

*Extremely* poorly lit at night and not enough signage made it really difficult to walk around/find the resto for dinner. It's old- all of the wood has turned grey and soft; loose boards; not vibrant anymore. Bathroom smelled of sewer

Our room was beautiful band well staffed. The staff on this island go out of there way with service and effort and you should be so very proud of them. The water was so clear fish every everywhere. Beautiful food and loved sitting under the palms on the beach. Massage was very good. Our main guide looked after us so very well. New years was lovely staff once again 100% you work so hard and put on a wonderful news year

Thought the amount we had to pay for new years which was compulsory was a little over priced

EVERYTHING. Big thanks to Ella, Arey and Monica for making our wedding amazing!!. It was an experience both me and my husband will never forget. I love KudaFushi. Staff will go above and beyond to make your stay special and amazing. It was the best holiday of our lives. We did not want to go home. We've cried to say goodbye to our new family.

This question should not be asked about KudaFushi! 😁

Everything was perfect. The staff was very kind, everyone was greeting us, and they were super helpful always. The food was excellent, and this is a picky eater saying that :) A lots of fruits and veggies, variety of meat and fish, many choices for carbs as well, and it was all fresh. We fell in love with the omelette, I think it was our favourite thing in the morning, and the lady who's preparing it is super nice. They cleaned the room twice as day, but the cleaning products smelled like bubblegum. They were cleaning the paths from leaves every single day, so that everything was clean and tidy. The guys at the pool bar were very friendly too. The staff at the restaurant was very accommodating every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recommending it 100%

Schöner Strand, sehr viele Aktivitäten und sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Viele Flughunde gut zu beobachten.

Kaum vegane Auswahl beim Essen.

Wszystko było SUPER. POLECAM

Das Personal war und ist unglaublich freundlich

Nix

Essen recht abwechslungsreich. Meer inkl. Riff, Strand und Unterkunft hervorragend

We initially came to the Kudafushi Resort & Spa in the Maldives for a brief and quality relaxing holiday as I am engaged in the Finance Risk segment in the UK with a significantly demanding agenda. Upon glancing at the ‘water landing platform’ from the seaplane I was immediately fascinated by the ‘sign of adventure’ amidst the magnificent location of the resort situated in a gulf of white sandy beaches intertwined with bright green flora and surrounded by crystal blue ocean lagoon !! The resort is exceptionally clean, well-managed, easily accessible and offers an exquisite combination of a variety of activities amidst cultural traditions, onsite amenities and an exclusive selection of beach and water villa accommodation ! I was fascinated by the resort amenities and understood that this is a truly unique resort with a clearly embedded ‘exceeding guests expectations approach’ and an enthusiastic attitude to ensure that the guest is fully supplied during their holiday- via an exceptional service and professionalism demonstrated by each department and client facing segment of the Resort !

The breakfast was ok

The food made me feel sick, there wasn’t a lot of activities, we had to travel far on the sea plane and the places weren’t 100% available just by chance , they ask for too much when your long days of travelling and you just want to lay down and relax

We loved everything about Kudafushi, it truly is paradise. They take care of you at every moment and from the very beginning we received a warm welcome from Kiki, who was our guide. We would like to highlight the great service and kindness of our waiter Muute, who looked after us during every meal, especially our daughter Olivia. They even prepared a special table for us and a cake for my wife’s birthday. The villa with a pool and direct access to the beach was incredible – you really don’t need anything else to disconnect. If you’re a nature lover, swimming in those waters feels like being inside an aquarium, it’s simply wonderful. On land you can also see lizards, flying foxes, crabs, and more. The seaplane ride can be a bit tiring, but everything is very well organized. All in all, a 10/10 trip!

We loved everything

Personale, pulizia e cibo.

Behind the postcard views, we found a toxic, discriminatory atmosphere that ruined our wedding anniversary and wife’s birthday trip. As a husband writing about our combined celebration, I want to share what we faced. We met at 19, have three children, and this trip was a quiet anniversary/birthday escape. My wife is Russian–Armenian; I am blond, blue-eyed Northern European. Here, appearance mattered. Service was tiered: Alone at the Niçoise counter, she received scraps of salad; seconds later another guest got a composed portion. Her empty wine glass was ignored unless my own was also drained. Once she ordered white wine—she received the cheapest table wine while quality bottles came when I ordered. On her birthday, champagne was poured to me first until I told them: “Serve the lady first.” Housekeeping breached privacy: even with “Do Not Disturb” up, the housekeeper approached and asked, “When will you leave?” The “Happy Birthday” note and small cake felt perfunctory, like a chore, not a celebration. Staff treated us unevenly—no eye contact, conversations only with me, a patronizing spa manager. These microaggressions—filtered, dismissive gestures—leave no visible violation to complain about. My wife later admitted she asked me to join her for lunch daily, because alone she felt uncomfortable though nothing was overt. This pattern felt deliberate. Hospitality lies in how care is distributed. Here, care was withheld.

Luxury without equality is theater; here, service was status-gated. As a husband writing about our anniversary and my wife’s birthday trip, I’m describing a pattern, not a glitch. Courtesy and attention were routed through me and filtered by appearance and perceived status. What we met were microaggressions—filtered courtesies, withheld recognition, gestures that look harmless in isolation yet add up to exclusion. Individually, each moment is too minor to report; together they formed a hierarchy that replaced hospitality. A place that markets luxury should distribute care evenly; here, care was withheld. We left with the sense that welcome depended on who you looked like and who stood beside you.

Amidst the adventure of a well defined exclusivity, all client facing segments of the Resort demonstrated consistent engagement, commitment, professionalism, responsiveness, energy and diligence in executing embedded responsibilities. I am specifically impressed by the quality of service on behalf of the resort personnel, under the management and leadership of the Resort Manager Nasru who exhibited an insightful vision of leadership, positive energy and consistency in anticipating the requirements and providing the most optimal solution based on the circumstances. Specific ‘thank you’ to Aanis and Aarham from the Reception team for their diligent and effective collaboration to ensure that we have a ‘stress-free’ holiday with an ‘embedded factors covered approach,’ attentive attitude, exceptional service and consistency. Specific ‘thank you’ to the Reservations Team, in particular Suresh and Roopam for being extremely efficient in arranging the internal bookings and coordinating the seaplane transfers and the accurate confirmation of the reservation details, demonstrating an insightful level of punctuality and flexibility related to the reservations process ! I could imagine a variety of scenarios of how my experiences may have evolved at the resort nevertheless this has all lead to the same response that at the Kudafushi island I could truly breathe and replenish my inspirational creativity and innate endurance being surrounded by special individuals in a truly unique atmosphere where the sole intention of leaving the resort was with the subsequent idea of ‘when to come back’ !

The island is small but it has everything you need. There’s a diving area, spa, yoga, restaurants, pool etc

The water villas are specious and very clean. They are serviced twice a day everyday. They have an air-con and a fan.

We were on all inclusive package. We enjoyed endless cocktails, sparking wine, lattes and soft drinks. It felt like we were in paradise. The food was so delicious. They serve buffet breakfast, lunch and supper. We really enjoyed our 7 nights stay and it felt like it was short. We are planning to go again next year.

It has been less than a week that we decided to extend the holiday at the Kudafushi Resort & Spa ! The Resort captivated me with its outstanding service, commitment to excellence, exhibited professionalism, demonstrated flexibility, profound excellency and positive approach towards exceeding guests' expectations on a consistent and progressive basis ! This competency, strong work ethic, responsive attitude and brilliant insight on behalf of the operations team has been evident in the series of cultural activities, water sports, cocktail events, yoga services, spa relaxation treatments and marine structured events whereas the resort’s effective collaboration and functional management transpired in consecutive leadership, impeccable vision and transparent pre-emptive methodology to deliver exclusivity, target results and unforgettable experiences ! I am specifically impressed by the quality of service on behalf of the Front Office Manager Saamir who consistently demonstrated competency in reception functionality, insightful level of diligence, persistence, understanding, value added service, energy, responsiveness and flexibility in arranging the underlying requirements. Saamir’s extensive knowledge in hotel reception management, professionalism, dedication, perception and commitment to excellence has been instrumental to discovering the intricacies of the resort's amenities, history, culture, local customs and naturally exceptional island attractions!

Exceptional. A very lovely place with lovely smiley staff all over the beautiful island. We were welcomed by guest relation team from sea plane, shown around and guided to our room. Ellena from guest relations was great, very welcoming and was checking on us every day and set our expectations very high and the place didn't disappoint. Facilities and activities were amazing. Again all staff are exceptionally welcoming and you feel like home. Want to thank particularly Alessio from reception and Shah from the restaurant for their help. The water villa was great and had everything we needed. Totally recommend and definitely will visit again.

Everything was great

Our stay at the Kudafushi Resort and Spa was exceptional ! Upon landing in the blue turquoise waters from the seaplane, I was fascinated by the magnificent location of the resort situated in a gulf of white sandy beaches simmered in a sunlight reflected in a crystal blue ocean lagoon surrounded by bright green flora, exclusive wild nature life, picturesque scenery, beach villa accommodation and exquisite selection of water villas ! Immediately with our arrival the Resort warmly welcomed us and exhibited professionalism, exceptional service, attentive attitude and positively energy towards meeting our needs on a routine basis. The Front Office Manager Saamir went above and beyond any initial requirements not solely to ensure that we have a convenient and memorable stay, but also to experience the magic of the resort by engaging in kayaking, water sports, local island cruises and dolphin excursions ! I was enchanted by the resort amenities and immediately understood that this is a truly unique resort with a clearly embedded ‘exceeding guests expectations approach’ and an enthusiastic attitude to ensure that the guest is fully supplied during their holiday- via an exceptional service and excellence exhibited in each client facing segment of the Resort ! I am specifically impressed by the quality of service on behalf of the resort personnel, under the management and leadership of the Resort Manager Nasru and General Manager Jameel who demonstrated consistency, value added service, energy, responsiveness, understanding and flexibility. This competency, strong work ethic, positive attitude and brilliant insight has been evident in the series of cultural activities, cocktail event parties, yoga services, spa relaxation treatments and marine structured events whereas the resort’s effective functionality and collaborative management transpired in impactful teamwork, positive engagement and inspirational leadership- 10 out of 5 Stars !

beach, food, stuff, nature, flying foxes, fish

Noisy AC, some villas’ facilities need replacing

The main restaurant food is way below expectations and rather disappointing- Not matching the facility.Dinner at the Mediterranean and Mexican restaurant was very good .

The water sport staff were very friendly and helpful however we failed to book a single water sport activity as most of the motorised equipment were out of service for maintenance

Great stay. Amazing staff and great food at all restaurants. Room needed some care and attention to make it perfect.

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and varied, and the villa located right on the beach made everything even more special. Highly recommend!

The bedroom is very large and comfortable, cleaned twice a day. Beach is amazing, lots of coral for snorkeling and still private enough even with all the villas. The food is delicious and very varied. The staff was kind and there were plenty of entertainment options in the hotel, we especially liked the spa! We had very high expectations, but Kudafushi managed to exceed them :)

The only thing we can think of is that the outdoor tub had some weather damage.

Beautiful small island. All activities and events that the resort managed.

I didn’t feel safe there as I traveled alone. I got bad experience from there. If you are woman solo traveller, be careful that don’t trust people easily even they introduce themself how high of their work position at the resort

All food in the main restaurant was fabulous- good quality and varied choice. Service was super friendly and attentive! Beaches are stunning and the sea is crystal clear and a perfect temperature - a tiny piece of paradise!

Our 12-night stay at Kudafushi Resort was amazing, and we highly recommend it! The level of service provided by the staff was exceptional—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. The main restaurant impressed us with its variety of high-quality dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Juju Bar was another highlight, with attentive service and relaxing evenings enhanced by live music from a talented performer. The à la carte dining experiences at the Sea Edge and Olive Me restaurants were incredible; the pre-selected menus (fish, meat, or vegetarian) were top-notch and well-prepared. As we were upgraded to private villa with pool, it offered a perfect mix of comfort and privacy, thanks to the bamboo partitions/walls which villas without pool missed. Housekeeping was outstanding, and in-villa dining services were quick and efficient, especially for breakfast.

We would preffer Christmas & New Years Eve galla dinner to be à la carte. Could be pre-selected similarly like in Sea Edge or Olive Me restaurants supplemented with buffet choice of salads and etc. Breakfast waits at the egg station/pancakes could be avoided by pre-preparing some options. On 24th and 31st December, loud music from Juju Bar played until 2-4 AM, with bass levels resonating across the resort. No chance to sleep for not party people. Despite these minor points, Kudafushi is a remarkable resort with unmatched service. We encourage future guests to tip generously as the team works incredibly hard to create a memorable experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Exceptional staff (esp. Lis who cooked the fish and Adil at the Juju bar) - peaceful location. Superb in every way. Clean beaches, relaxed atmosphere.

There is nothing that could be improved!!

Great facilities, high quality restaurants, very nice staff. Very good diving center, with friendly staff and close to amazing diving spots. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic stay. Such a beautiful place on earth:) and everyone is incredibly nice, helpful and overall everything is done for you to have the best time.

Nothing!! Only the seaplane schedule was very unfortunate that there is no say when flights are scheduled, ours was way too tight for the departure - but this is nothing on the resort. If they can work together with the company to allow more time to departure would be great

The Resort is amazing. Great food, excellent service and amazing house reef.

A parasol on the terrace of the overwater bungalows would be nice

Kudafushi Resort was an absolute paradise! Stunning views, luxurious amenities, and top-notch service. Manager Marta made our stay exceptional—always attentive and accommodating to our needs. One of the highlights was launching my drone from two unique spots: the resort’s deck by security and a nearby desert island we reached by jet ski. Captured some breathtaking shots that made the trip even more unforgettable. Highly recommend Kudafushi for anyone looking for a perfect Maldivian getaway!

All amazing

Everything was just perfect, the staff were amazing 👏 The views 😍 Exceeded expectations

Outstanding! The island is pictureperfect. Beach is soft and white, water as turquoise as possible. Beachvilla comfortable, cleaned and serviced several times a day. Food served as buffet is excellent, choice and taste really great. Thank you Lis and Priyanka, you made every meal special! Excursions were breathtaking, snorkeling with mantas and turtles was an experience! So was snorkeling at the house-reef, just steps from our villa. Babyshark greeted every morning 🥰

Stay was too short… ;)

Overall comfy little island. Snorkeling was ok

Resort just casually said they are one hour ahead of Male, which essentially is asking us to check out early. Seaplane was not well coordinated and we had to stay in the airport for four hours. Food was very average except it’s fresh made pasta

We chose Kudafushi Resort & Spa for our wedding and we must say we made the right decision! Beautiful long beaches, an ocean full of life with beautiful corals, excellent service and food. We went here with our parents who do not speak English but it was not a problem. We managed to arrange everything and the organization was top-notch. It was the first time when we had a village with a pool on the water and it was an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you!

Me and my wife was on our honeymoon in june, which was unforgettable. Island was very tiny and cozy. our water willa with pool was very comfortable and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful every time. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent, especially very kind and friendly staff, thank you for everything and we hope to see you again soon, keep moving forward the same way!

Food, friendly staff, leisure center and the reef! Sharks, turtles, plenty of different kind of fish and clear blue water.

My heart is full of love for Kudafushi Resort & Spa—let me tell you why. I took a bold leap and decided to celebrate my birthday alone in the Maldives, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience! Kudafushi is a breathtaking little paradise that captured my heart from the moment I arrived. Alessandra and Laura welcomed me with such genuine kindness that I immediately knew I was in good hands. The entire staff was extraordinary—genuinely caring, incredibly kind, and so attentive. They made me feel cherished and looked after, always checking in and responding to my requests with remarkable speed. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort: Staff/Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Internet: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Jameel, Alessandra, and Camille. Cleanliness of the room was not up to the mark for a 5 star resort.

The place itself is breathtaking, no doubt very comfortable and very clean but the thing that blew my mind the most is customer service, its TOP TIER!Everyone! I mean every single one of the Kudafushi family is welcoming and always have smiles on their faces. Everyone is really great, but I will never forget Francesco who help us settle, Lis who always made us smile and give us yummy grill, despite it being so hot is always very cheerful and the kindest, Shariful who gives us yummy ice cream with a smile on his face and lovely Priyanka who memorize what we like and always go out of her way for us, they all did! It was my husbands birthday and we never told them but they made him feeo special on his birthday, make the table nice for us, give him a special cake and sing happy birthday for him, they even made a happy birthday spelled with leaves and flowers when we went to the spa. Make sure to avail their photoshoot package, they guy who took our photos is very good! I love the photos he took of us, i forgot his name but I hope he’ll check Iceland on his bucketlist. ❤️ All in all Kudafushi is the best, It is my first time in Maldives, and they made me want to come back more! Definitely Coming back there again!

Amazing staff 🤩
