Beautiful on Devonport

We couldn't work the front door and key code to begin with - it took a few turns for us to understand that you had to wait to hear the door unlock and only then push the door open. Unfortunately we had to call on the owner to come and help us twice which was unfortunate for both parties as it was very late when we arrived.

Loved the location, communication with the hosts, the extras the host had provided (snacks etc). The layout was great and catered for our elderly parents who were with us.

Only that we couldn't close the bedroom drapes upstairs.

The house was very comfortable, well laid out for a group and very warm. Location was also great.

The instructions were clear and concise and the timeline for communication was accurate.

Plenty of space and comfy beds. Milk and food there to use so you didn't have to find a shop for supplies straight away. Very nice bonus we weren't expecting. Host also left a list of handy information about the place

Excellent accommodation located in a quiet and upmarket area, very close to the city/CBD. It took a brisk 4 minute walk to restaurants, coffee shops,bars, and supermarket in vicinity of Merivale Mall. Great value for money- location, clean, spacious for our group of 5. Lovely cosy welcoming home - heaters in every room, additional blankets, comfortable beds. Kitchen and laundry both well stocked and well equipped, air fryer was a nice addition. Free WiFi was excellent. Host sent email with access code 1 day before our arrival and was considerate about what we may need for our 4 year old grandchild. Highly recommend this accommodation, would book here again when next in Christchurch.

There wasn't anything that we couldn't work around. Totally satisfied, met all our needs, and enjoyed our stay.

Excellent accomodation. Great value for money. A mere 15-20 minute ride to the CBD. Groceries and other amenities available nearby. The house was well stocked with snacks, tea and other basics.

Location is good. Door lock is broken so we cannot get in. However the owner came and fixed it.

1F room window cannot be locked so we feel.unsafe. Curtains of.both rooms on 2F are broken and we felt very uncomfortable.

Cute little house, tidy and in a nice location

Very noisy floor - people in upstairs room walking around is loud in downstairs bedroom.

The location was very quiet, and the little things like some biscuits and milk was much appreciated after a very long hot drive. Thank you very much for that The key code was a excellent way to enter the property, just so convenient. The upstairs main bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept in, including my own. With all the kitchen equipment for stay home meals .

The curtains in the upstairs did not close very well at all. That may not worry alot of people in fairness,but when I get up at 2.20am to be at work by 3am then I'm looking for a wee sleep in on my time off A wee bit knocked around by staying guests I would say with their bags which I felt for the money would be painted over. A wee bit on the expensive side

Location is excellent for shops and the city center, all walk-able. The area is upmarket and quite. The hosts were excellent and supplied everything for our trip, utensils & towels etc.

There was no outdoor furniture during our 3 night stay which didn't bother us that much as we were out most of the time.

A very nice and spacious house. Close to lots of things. well equipped kitchen and facility all good. We highly recommend this place!!! Definitely Will come back again

It’s prominent location, handy to amenities either by walk or drive.

It would be good if upstairs bathroom had hand shower same as downstairs bathroom.

The landlords sent us an email with the door code in good time before our arrival. The check-in went smoothly. The house is wonderful. A beautiful living area, a large dining table and a fantastic kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped and my husband even baked bread. Downstairs a bedroom with bathroom/shower and separate toilet. On the first floor two more bedrooms with another bathroom / shower / toilet. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room. In good weather, you can also hang the washing outside in the garden. Our family of 4 had enough space. We would book the house again at any time and visit Christchurch if it wasn't so far away from Germany. We had a great time and immediately felt at home.

Roomy and enough space for 6 to find a quiet place. Single beds were great. Close to supermarket and places to eat out. Perfect for 6 adults.

We were disappointed that there wasn't enough seating for 6 at the dining table. Towels were limited., no hand towels.

Loved this property. The location of this property was perfect. Close to town and walking distance to Merrivale. It was a quiet and peaceful place. Would definitely book this property again.

The sheets were synthetic ( just personal preference) and cotton would have made it the best stay!

Great location, close to everything. Nice suburb. Appreciated that there was enough of everything for our group of 6 including seating in the lounge - you don’t always get that. Well equipped, nice extra touches. Nice and warm when we arrived

The place is very welcoming and comfortable, great for the nights stay.

We noticed ants on the counter in the kitchen, but we honestly werent bothered as we were only here for the one night.

Parking was a bit of an issue.

Outside light wasn't going

Loved the space! All rooms were spacious and well appointed (even provided USB charging ports on each nightstand). The house was really warm…heaters in every room that worked well (not our typical experience in other rentals we had in New Zealand). Home was recently renovated and felt modern throughout. Appreciated the washer & dryer units! Great location - grocery store, shops, and some nice pubs very close by; manageable walk to city center.

Really loved this home! Finding the home was slightly difficult as we arrived after dark and house number not well lit from street. Driveway is narrow if you have a large vehicle, but easy enough to park on street.
