Ce n’est pas un problème sur le logement mais de booking, quand on cherche un lieu sur la plateforme avec en ville Galway on s’attend à être dans la ville et non dans le comté à 40 min.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Nous sommes restés 6 nuits. Nous avons beaucoup appréciés la localisation entre au nord Galway et le Connemara et au sud le Burren, mais aussi le calme. Margaret est très gentille et accueillante, elle nous a apporté plusieurs fois des desserts. L’appartement est confortable et très bien équipé.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026The accomodation is situated in a quiet and pretty location, 5 minutes drive from the charming little town of Gort, which has all the facilities you could wish for, including a good selection of cafes and restaurants which are very handy for breakfast before setting off for the day to explore the area. Within easy reach are the famous Burren, the lovely coastline with quaint little harbours and places to try the local seafood (ask Margaret for suggestions), and the historic city of Galway, with its busy harbour. A little further afield is stunning Connemara, to which we hope to return. The accomodation itself is modern and comfortable, with everything you need as a base for touring. Margaret, the hostess is lovely and made us feel very welcome. She thoughtfully provided us with home baked treats upon our arrival, and she gave us some wonderful recommendations for places to visit during our stay. We will definitely be returning next year, and I highly recommend The Paddock to anyone looking to visit the area. Very good value for money!
It was perfect for our stay, and we have no criticism. The only thing I would mention is that the little access road has a sharp "S"bend underneath a railway bridge which is blind. Just remember to take this slowly and stay well over to the left and you will be OK. (I gave a judicious little toot on the horn each time I approached just to warn approaching vehicles from the opposite direction.)

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Ihana rauhallinen sijainti maaseudulla. Huoneessa myös jääkaappi, mikro ja tiskiallas & astioita. Lehmät laitumella ihan vieressä. Takapihalla myös pyykkiteline. Erittäin ystävällinen emäntä neuvoi mm. Aran saarten lautalle menossa ja toi kumpanakin päivänä leivonnaisia.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Stanza ampia, luminosa e pulita. Dotata di forno a microonde, ferro da stiro, tostapane, bollitore, stoviglie e prodotti per la pulizia. Margaret ci ha accolto con il sorriso dando le indicazioni necessarie. Due giorni su tre ci ha fatto trovare dolci preparati da lei per colazione, deliziosi. Parcheggio privato fronte stanza e affaccio su cortile con qualche mucca simpatica. Prese usb disponibili accanto al letto e sulla cucina.
Pur essendone a conoscenza il letto è alla francese. Mancanza di grucce nell’armadio. Mancanza di prodotti per la doccia. Ps: per aprire e chiudere la porta tirate la maniglia verso l’alto!

Reviewed May 26, 2026Beautiful little unit, had everything I needed. Was met by the owner who showed me around the place. She contacted me earlier in the day with directions and eircode, and it was a nice drive from Gort. The bed and pillows were comfy, the unit itself was very compact, there was a kettle, toaster and microwave, along with a fridge, sink, utensils. The owner left some fresh milk in the fridge in case I wanted a cup of tea when I arrived (I did) and had some tea and coffee in the cupboard. The sunset out the back of the unit was spectacular (an added bonus)

Reviewed May 14, 2026Beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful. My daughter was enamored with the cows and sheep. The owner Margaret was so friendly and left us baked goodies with farm-churned butter and a pitcher of REAL milk. She was delightful!
There is nothing nearby, the closest convenience store is about 6 km away. Plan ahead.

Lekkere douche.Er is thee en koffie en Margaret bracht elke dag iets lekkers. Kleine kitchenette met een broodrooster en een magnetron is voldoende om je eigen ontbijt.te maken.

La cocina tiene microondas, tostador, kettle, un fregadero y nevera, lo justo para poder desayunar. La ubicación es fácil de encontrar y a nosotros nos encantó estar rodeados de campo, silencio y tranquilidad 💚 La propietaria fue encantadora y nos trajo unos soda bread caseros, todo un detalle. The room was separate from the homestead, so it offered such a lovely, private abide. Very quiet and pleasant. We slept great!!! Everything about it was comfortable and simple. Loved it!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Stayed with my mum in spacious twin apartment, lovely quiet area, secure parking, extra tasty surprises from very friendly host and the adorable Ruby, very comfy beds, excellent TV selection. Would stay again if passing through.
Could do with hanger near shower for towel and shelf inside shower for shampoo etc. Boiler on and off all night, noise disturbed 1 light sleeper.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026Sehr schönes Appartement, sauber und komfortabel. Vom Bügelbrett bis Föhn, Wasserkocher bis TV, Netflix, Tee, Kaffee...alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und servierte uns immer selbstgebackenen Kuchen und Milch. Frische Landluft rundherum. Schafe 🐑 als Nachbarn nebenan. Wer Ruhe sucht und weit ab von Lärm und Leuten sein will, ist es genau das Richtige.

We appreciated her kindness. The studio was very clean and comfortable. The photos are accurate. We enjoyed interacting with the resident dog Ruby. Margaret gave us good suggestions about places to visit and local restaurants. Happy to recommend this stay.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025Ce petit studio est très bien équipé, il y a une petite cuisine à disposition (frigo, micro-ondes) ce qui est très pratique et appréciable. Le reste est très confortable et l’endroit est au calme dans la campagne. La propriétaire a été très gentille et compréhensive avec nous malgré notre arrivée au dernier moment. De plus elle nous a gentiment laissé des petites friandises dans le frigo ainsi que du pain / beurre / marmelade pour le petit déjeuner.
Rien tout était très bien :)

Molto gentile nel farci trovare latte, pane e marmellata in camera. La consiglio come punto di sosta se si passa da quelle parti. esperienza molto positiva! grazie!

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025Margaret hat uns herzlich begrüßt. Sie bestückte unseren Kühlschrank mit Marmelade, Milch und Butter fürs Frühstück. Ebenso wurden wir jeden Tag mit etwas Gebackenem wie z.B. Muffins überrascht. Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Warmwasser. Dies wurde aber sofort behoben. Insgesamt eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin mit super Unterkunft und schöner Lage!

A sota els llits estan absolutamente bruts de pols, no es retiran per neteja per sota i axil provoca que hi hagan acaree.

Magarete welcomed us- we didn’t need to search for any codes and keys, which we highly appreciated! She even provided us with a little cake and some bread and marmalade for our breakfast the next morning. Thank you, again!

Das Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet und es war alles vor Ort, was wir brauchten. Die Lage ist schön und ruhig und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.
Hier gibt es nichts zu sagen!

C'était super mais ce serait encore un peu mieux si on pouvait chauffer quelques œufs sur une plaque de cuisson, car les œufs au micro onde... Ce n'est pas terrible !!
