Location is perfect. The staff were good. The food in the restaurant were served fresh and good. The rooms were clean and overall it's a pretty decent property.

Price could be less. Swimming pool could have been better

Location is beautiful but the access roads are not great some taxis wouldn’t drop us directly at the hotel because of the road condition.

I stayed in maadathil beach resorts for two days. The location is just amazing with access to private beach and walkway to varkala north cliff which is full of cafe, local markets and restaurants. Thanks to Mr. Aslam for coordinating with us and making our stay comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at Maadathil Cottages with my friends. The location is slightly away from the busy areas, making it perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful, and secluded stay. To explore around, a rented bike is definitely useful, but the serene atmosphere here makes it absolutely worth it. The staff were extremely warm and helpful, the food was delicious, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. Daily room cleaning was done very well. The cottage team also arranged bike rentals and even our airport taxi on request, which made our trip hassle-free. They have good tie-ups for tourist activities, travel vans, and taxis, making it very convenient for guests. Overall, everything about the stay was excellent, and I will definitely return with my family next time. Highly recommended!

There was no hair dryer in our room. We forgot to ask the reception, so maybe they would have provided one if we had. Not a major issue, but worth mentioning.

Access road was nerve wrecking because of the high Cliff and narrowness. Beach side could have been cleaner. Breakfast was locally made and great. Dinner however was outsourced and left wanting

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like about the property. Everything from the location and food to the hospitality was perfect and exceeded my expectations.

The cottages themselves are charming, clean, and surrounded by nature—ideal for anyone seeking relaxation. It’s a great spot for both families and groups of friends, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. As other reviewers have said the location is just perfect. A little bit further from the busy part of Varkala cliff, so the beach is less crowded and more peaceful here. The hotel rooms are very spacious, clean and has everything you might need. Staff were super helpful and friendly too.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning setting! We had one of the bungalows at the top, which had a good-sized balcony - perfect for enjoying the view of the sea, watching the fishermen, and listening to the constant sound of the waves. All staff were very attentive, especially the manager, Aslam - nothing was too much trouble for them, and he was very helpful with providing information prior to our visit. A good breakfast was also provided.

Lovely beach front hotel. Quiet area but only 15mins walk to the busier cliff area. Plenty of places to eat near by. Our host was great and couldn’t do enough for us. Difficult to find so call ahead.

I was in Kerala for 1 week and I was staying at Varkala cliff for about 5 nights and I don't like the stay over there it was very loud and crowded So I tried this property and it was an awesome experience. It was very calm and peaceful over there. No crowd or any disturbance even on weekends. And the main point is we will get a private beach type of experience over there and it's worth experiencing on your vacation.

While the access road is a bit rugged, it adds to the charm of a quiet, private retreat and ensures minimal traffic and noise. The Restaurant and the staff's were the best. Had the best food and service from them. They really exceed my expectations. And room was also very comfortable and made feel like I am home. The staff's are always ready to help with anything and they always do with a smile. I just had my greatest vacation and will be coming back here soon (can't wait😅)

It has mesmerising views as the rooms are located at almost a distance of just 50 meters from the beach front. The beach is one of the cleanest beach in Varkala with splendid sunset views. A big shout out to Muhajir who is managing this properly, he was welcoming and full of information to assist his guests. Pointed me to right direction with everything need to make your stay special, even organised tut tuks for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious, clean and extremely comfortable with all the basic things that you would need including air con, WiFi, fridge etc. One of the best dinner meals that I have eaten at their in house restaurant. Its a short casual walk to the cliff face, where shops, ice-cream and restaurants are located.

The ocean waves can be quite rough, bonus if they had a pool...watch this space, as I here potentially they are planning on expanding.
