Vriendelijk personeel. Er was goede service, ze waren altijd bereikbaar.

De hygiene viel wat tegen. Het was niet heel vies, maar gewoon wat stoffig overal.

Personalmente mi sono trovata bene. Struttura situata sopra un pub, dove peraltro si mangia bene (il brownie caldo è fenomenale) e si ha il 30% di sconto. I ragazzi dell'accoglienza e del pub sono carini e gentilissimi. Camera spaziosa, bagno piuttosto grande, presa adattatore disponibile in camera (non ci sono prese usb per ricaricare) e fermata metro a pochi minuti. Buon wi-fi e buon rapporto qualità/prezzo

La struttura è un pò fuori ed essendo su una diramazione della district le corse sono un pochino meno frequenti. Il cestino in bagno era veramente molto piccolo e anche in camera un cestino farebbe comodo, e dato che la doccia aveva uno di quei soffioni molto grandi far trovare oltre ai prodotti da bagno anche una cuffia per i capelli potrebbe essere comodo in caso non se ne porti una da casa.

Really good location, only few minutes walk from Wimbledon Park. Pub had food which was 30% off if you stayed there, I didn't eat, but the food looked good. Massive comfy bed.

It was a well used room, few stains on the carpet, few broken things here and there, but did not really detract from my stay.

Good size room, friendly staff, nice pub. Bed was large and very comfortable- I slept like a baby throughout the night! Nice, large rain shower and lots of natural light in the room. Ideally located for commuters. Nearby shops too.

Excellent place to stay at a great price. The whole process was very smooth and the pub was nice. Couldn’t fault the room. Comfortable, pleasant room with good facilities.

The Wi-Fi took a bit of time to kick into life but was fine once it did.

We booked 2 king size double rooms so that we could attend a family Golden Wedding Anniversary within tube and walking distance. We were only there over the weekend. The rooms were clean and spacious with a big walk-in ensuite shower room. Towels and toileteries were provided Coffee and tea making facilities were provided in the rooms with a generous sized kettle and generous proper cup and saucer size too, with real stainless steel teaspoons +++ Other members of our family were also staying there at the same time as us As we had booked ahead, we were also able to get a generous discount off drinks and their pizza menu. We were on the 2nd floor and there isn't a lift but we knew this prior to booking If you want a very early start, breakfast isn't provided until later in the morning, when the bar opens, but there are various cafes and restaurants close by, a few minutes walk away on, which provide generous breakfast/lunch and evening meal options, we would recommend the Bengal bistro for the evening meal they accomodated our family group of 14 in their downstairs room, after making a booking at short notice. Its TYOP with a small corkage charge but the food is absolutley wonderful with vegan options too. The Woodman sells their pizzas from 11:00 to 23:00, pub closing time, which several of our party tried, after walking to Wimbledon Common and doing the park run!

The only thing we found concerning, hence the 9 score, was that velux window blind in our double the bedroon was taped with gaffer tape and as my husband got up to fill the kettle on the Saturday morning, the gaffer tape, holding the blind, sprang off with a loud bang and hit him in on the nose! He was none the worse for wear except for a bit of a scratch on the bridge of his nose which required application of tissues for a few seconds to stem the blood flow! The window issue was remedied when we got back to our room late on the Saturday evening and there was no evidence of any gaffer tape to be seen and the blind was back in it's original housing! The other old chestnut that keeps appearing on reviews is the stains on the carpeted area on the stairs and corridors to the rooms. The stairs do have some stains where people have obviously put down bottles and and cans, for whatever reason whilst the pub was just a pub, However in the rooms the carpets are fine the beds are comfortable and the price for an overnight stay in two king size double rooms is exceptional particularly being so close to Wimbledon Park, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club, and Wimbledon Common!!! There is no parking available but over the weekend there is free parking after 3 pm on certain roads close to the Woodman. We would definitely stay there again and we would recommend others to do the same. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and we felt very well looked after.

Nuestro vuelo fue cancelado y acabamos reservando este hotel. El hombre de aspecto indio que nos atendió por la noche fue muy amable. Fuimos con un bebé a pesar de que el alojamiento no daba la opción a reservar con bebé dado que no tendrá cunas y tiene escaleras sin ascensor. Pero fuimos conscientes de ello y no fue un problema para nosotros. Además, el bebé duerme con nosotros y la cama era MUY amplia y cómoda. La habitación también era de un tamaño superior a las otras que habíamos estado en la ciudad. A pocos minutos caminando del alojamiento, se encuentra el metro. El barrio del hotel es muy acogedor, residencial y familiar.

Carpet in desperate need of a clean, bed was very squeaky and could do with replacing, although mattress was comfy enough. Generally looking a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint. Check in fairly slow due to the bar area being severely understaffed.

Localizado numa zona calma e com estação de metro (Wimbledon Park) a 3 mins a pé e paragem de autocarro em frente. Funcionários simpáticos e atenciosos, comodidades fantásticas e estava tudo muito limpo e bem arrumado. A zona do pub também é óptima para comer e beber, pois a qualidade é muito boa (e temos desconto, por estamos alojados) e o ambiente do pub é calmo e costuma ter várias famílias/amigos, etc a confraternizar, beber, comer..um ambiente muito agradável.

La signora Anna è veramente una persona molto gentile e efficiente ha soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta. E ci ha aiutato con le sue indicazioni a girare Londra. Abbiamo mangiato al pub tutto molto buono, ma il fiore all'occhiello è il pizzaiolo Massi, la sua pizza italiana è veramente buonissima come in Italia. Anche lo chef molto bravo ha soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta. Grazie. Consiglio vivamente.

location and bathroom

There was no trash bin in the bathroom, and the windows had no protective screens. When the windows were opened, bird feathers and debris easily entered the room, ending up across the room and even on the bed. Additionally, the room was located on the top floor/roof level, with no elevator access. This made reaching the room particularly difficult, especially as two women had to carry a 25 kg suitcase up the narrow staircase.

Modern and comfortable, powerful fan in room, spacious, bottled water in room would be nice, also you get 30% off food and drink throughout your stay

Totul este in paragină, mocheta este veche și murdara, geamurile nu se închid, și se aude tot traficul auto din stradă, ferestrele nu cred că au fost curățate vreodată, izolația fonică lipsește cu desăvârșire,, nu se face curățenie în camere indiferent cate nopți stai. La modul general astfel de localuri nu ar trebui sa existte

No air conditioning and room above pub didn’t seem very secure

Estuvimos 8 días y 7 noches y, en general, nos gustó muchísimo la estancia. La habitación estaba muy bien equipada, era muy amplia y tenía muchísimo espacio, algo que se agradece especialmente cuando pasas tantos días. También nos encantó el ambiente del barrio y la ubicación. El metro está súper cerca y, en la misma calle, hay un par de sitios deliciosos para desayunar. Además, el pub con el que está comunicado el hotel tiene muy buen ambiente y el trato del personal fue genial. Sin duda, nos llevamos muy buena impresión y volveríamos.

El wifi no nos funcionó, además creemos que podrían mejorar es el servicio de limpieza. Durante nuestra estancia solo nos limpiaron la habitación una vez, y fue porque pedimos toallas. Nuestra habitación no tenía el cartel de limpieza y, como salíamos muy temprano cada mañana y volvíamos bastante tarde, no coincidíamos con el horario de limpieza. Un día, la chica se disculpó por no haber podido entrar a limpiar y tuvo el detalle de ofrecernos toallas y una bebida gratis en el pub. Finalmente no aceptamos, pero agradecimos muchísimo su amabilidad y el gesto. Realmente, lo que más echamos en falta fue poder cambiar las toallas y tirar la basura, especialmente porque las toallas mojadas empezaban a coger olor y la basura se acumulaba, hasta el punto de que terminábamos llevándola nosotros mismos. Como recomendación, si os alojáis aquí, aseguraros de pedir el cartel de limpieza para evitar que os pase lo mismo. Aun así, fue un pequeño inconveniente dentro de una estancia que, en general, disfrutamos muchísimo. ❤️

La camera non è dotata di aria condizionata e la temperatura all’interno era vicina a quella di una sauna. In generale la camera era molto sporca, in particolare il bagno, peraltro non finestrato e in cui non funzionava l’impianto di areazione. La moquette per terra era veramente sporca, sia in stanza che nel corridoio in comune. I cuscini del letto, oltre ad essere scomodi e chiaramente di bassa qualità, avevano un colore molto poco rassicurante.

lost in time, very old and very dirty! the rug was from the last century, the food was canned. They took full advantage of the Wimbledon championship. We stayed in the attic.. Honestly,everething there should be turn down... it's a health hazard !!!

We booked this for the convenience of the tube to go and watch Wimbledon on finals day. That’s the only reason we booked it. The manager was wonderful.

I have to say, I am absolutely disgusted by the cost of this room for the night because it was Wimbledon final - we did expect to pay more than the going rate but just checked the price for the same day next weekend and it is £175 cheaper! Once we got into our room after we had been given a room that had not been cleaned from the previous nights guest, we found it to be nicely kitted out with a really good fan for the warm evening, bed was comfortable and some really nice touches in there such as snacks drinks and tea and coffee - however it was not clean. Carpet was absolutely stinking dirty. There was a very suspicious brown stain on the door frame of the bathroom, very dusty, toothbrush holder had mildew inside it. Really really unacceptable for the £244 we paid for the night (would over look a lot more at the following weeks £69!!) But the room was considerably better than the hallway you have to come up to get to the rooms, carpets were horrendously dirty and the smell just got worse the lower you got. Hotel exit was past all the bins which were awful, rat traps clearly visible. The only redeeming thing of the property really was the lady (assuming the manager) was brilliant, she was absolutely mortified when she’d mistakenly sent us to a used room (sounds like a mishap on the system) she was so apologetic and super professional.

It might just be London prices or because Wimbledon was on but it’s quite expensive for what it is. Due to the weather / temperature we had it was very hot in the room and on a main road so road traffic noise.

The staff were really helpful and got us booked in early and out later. My daughter said the pizzas were amazing.,you can sit outside on a warm summer’s evening which was lovely. There’s much needed tins of water in bedroom and crisps, tea, coffee etc which was a nice touch

It would be much better to have a small table at side of bed to put a drink on and charge phone on instead of using the chair which is getting cup bottom marks on and a small lamp would be useful to

Jeg syntes personalet var flinke, men værelset var meget slidt ned, men det var ok. Desværre glemte rengøring og låse vores værelse, efter de havde været med håndklæder, så døren stod åben en hel dag, mens vi var væk. Heldigvis havde vi Ik mange værdier på værelset.

I booked this room 4 months prior to our stay. Upon arriving at the location and checking in (payment had already been taken prior) we were told that we would not be able sit in the pub or order and food/drinks as it had been booked out the week prior for a private function (wake). We were not offered any alternative or given the choice to order food for our room and were not advised of this function prior to our stay by the pub or booking.com There was a blind/curtain missing from the window that was directly infront of the ‘head’ end of the bed so at 0430 the sun was beaming in. The bed linen was extremely scratchy and the pillows (one each) were very flat. The fan was held together by gaffer tape and didn’t provide much cool air considering the temperatures we have had recently. No air con in the room. Not really the fault of the pub but the glass bins were emptied at 0430 hrs which was extremely noisy.

The location, whilst not too close to Wimbledon and shops and restaurants, is a quick tube or taxi ride away from Wimbledon centre and Wimbledon tennis. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, but what really makes this place is the staff. They are absolutely superb.

The room was incredibly spacious and provided plenty of natural light. It was very clean and comfortable, and we were very pleased that a fan was provided in the room. The welcome host, who of course also works the bar, was very friendly and attentive. The pub itself is a great space and I wish I had spent more nights here so I could enjoy it.

Very little to dislike. Just some room turnover consistency and small detail improvements could be made. Towels weren't in the room when it became available to me about 10mins after checkin opened. And the bathroom's hand soap dispenser was empty - it might have been there ornamentally, because itappeared as though it's never been filled before.

Que nos dieran una copa gratis por no tener toallas para darnos. Muchos sitios cerca para desayunar en un barrio tranquilo.

Siendo dos personas sólo nos dieron un juego de toallas y cuando pedimos otro nos dijeron que no tenían. Tampoco disponían de secador, ni siquiera para prestar desde recepción. El mozo de recepción era el mismo que atendía la barra del bar y no tenía muchas ganas ni de lo uno ni de lo otro. La moqueta para cambiarla, telarañas en las ventanas, estores para la jubilación... Da la impresión de que aprovechando el pub, que está bien, decidieron sacarle rendimiento a las habitaciones que tiene por encima... pero necesitan darles una vuelta...o dos.

Unfortunately, the room was not very clean (we found used tissues and chips from previous guests under the bed). Additionally, it was not possible to close the window completely, and the noises from the street were disturbing at every hour. The location is very far from the city centre (around 1h to every famous touristic spot), but the bus and the underground stops are right in front of the hotel.

La ubicación está lejos del centro pero MUYBIEN conectado. Una estación de metro al lado, comercios… la cama es cómoda. Y el personal muy agradable, en todo momento contestan y nos dejaron dejar las maletas antes de la hora de check in. A tener en cuenta que no hay nadie hasta las 11 de la mañana. Si llegas antes debes esperar porque tienen horario del pub que hay justo debajo. El baño Muybien.

La habitación es bastante pequeña y necesita un poco de mantenimiento, la ventana tiene precinto…

Sabor agridulce, instalaciones antiguas, mobiliario relativamente viejo, se nota poco mantenimiento, mucho polvo, baño con suciedad, un pequeñon cojin con suciedad y la moqueta excesivamente manchada… el estor estaba cortado a mano entraba muchisima luz de fuera. Mucho ruido la ultima noche, se escucha todo.

Struttura funzionale, personale molto gentile e attento a tutte le esigenze. Il pub sotto la struttura molto comodo con cibo molto buono. Consigliato. La struttura non è vicina al centro ma è ben collegata con la linea della metro.

Shower drain did not drain properly so we had to keep turning the water off to give it time to drain. No aircon (we were there during a heat wave), but they did provide a fan! You can hear the trains if your room is on the front side of the building. Bathroom could do with a decent clean
