Staff friendly, hotel is spotless.

Location close to tube station

Room was distant from shared bathroom -that was not clear at booking.

The Montana was very close to the underground, museums, Royal Albert Hall (reason for staying there) and places to eat. It was a very elegant looking hotel from the outside and lovely inside, with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large,bright and even had air conditioning which was a bonus for the hot evening, and the continental breakfast which was included, was well presented and enjoyable. We will certainly stay there again.

Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel insgesamt wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ein großer Pluspunkt: Bus und U-Bahn sind in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar, sodass man die Stadt sehr bequem erkunden kann. Da wir tagsüber viel unterwegs waren, haben wir nicht im Hotel gefrühstückt, sondern die zahlreichen umliegenden Cafés genutzt, was für unsere Tagesplanung ideal war. Leider gibt es zwei Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt deutlich beeinträchtigt haben. Zum einen war der Wasserdruck in der Dusche in unserem Zimmer in der dritten Etage äußerst schwach. Entweder kam sehr heißes Wasser mit ausreichendem Druck oder bei angenehmerer Temperatur nur noch ein Rinnsal aus der Dusche. Wir haben dies an der Rezeption gemeldet und uns wurde zugesagt, sich darum zu kümmern. Während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts änderte sich jedoch nichts, sodass das Duschen jeden Tag eine Herausforderung blieb. Zum anderen ist uns eine Flasche Cola auf dem Nachttisch umgekippt, wodurch Bettlaken und Kopfkissenbezug verschmutzt wurden. Auch dies haben wir umgehend an der Rezeption gemeldet. Daher gingen wir davon aus, dass die betroffene Bettwäsche ausgetauscht wird. Als wir am Abend zurückkehrten, war das Bett zwar gemacht, die verschmutzte Bettwäsche jedoch nicht gewechselt worden. Der Fleck war inzwischen eingetrocknet und auch am Kopfteil sichtbar. Das hat uns überrascht und enttäuscht. Da wir am nächsten Morgen abreisten, haben wir das Thema nicht nochmals angesprochen. Die Zimmer sind insgesamt recht klein, ebenso das Badezimmer. Für uns war das jedoch kein großes Problem, da wir das Zimmer hauptsächlich zum Schlafen genutzt haben. Die Sauberkeit war grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Man merkt allerdings, dass das Hotel an einigen Stellen etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

L'établissement est très près de la station de métro Gloucester Road. Cette station est sur la Piccadilly line qui rejoint l'aéroport d'Heathrow ; donc aucun changement pour rejoindre l'hôtel depuis l'aéroport. Les petits déjeuners sont très bien. J'avais une grande chambre ce qui est très rare à Londres, climatisée. Grand lit très confortable.

Fabulous location, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Very comfy bed with clean linen, white fluffy towels. Fridge and safe in the room. Very friendly staff.

Very old fashioned hotel, small shower with low water pressure. No decaffeinated tea or coffee in the room. Corners of the shower need cleaning!!

Staff were very kind and upgraded us to a massive room without us even asking, our first time staying here. Beds were very comfortable, clean room, and location is conveniently located near the tube and bus stops, plenty of cafes and restaurants on Gloucester road as well

The room was overpriced at £248 for one night. Mould in the bathroom around the base of the shower, a chipped wash basin. AC outlet was black, the pillows were hard and one curtain was ripped. Small room. No complimentary bottles of water. Room temperature was set at 19 degrees. Facing the sun, the room was too warm.

Basement room which was very dark & dingy. AC was broken in first room so I was moved to another basement room where the AC wasn’t working very well. It was past 12 at this point so I decided to just go to bed.

Curtains in room were faded and torn. Very dangerous step up into the bathroom with no warning signs! Decor very dated. Continental breakfast had very limited choice.

A lovely decadent Indian style hotel. Clean & very comfortable. Close to Waitrose, Boots & Tesco express. A 6 minute ride to the Royal Albert Hall & all the museums. V&A & Natural History. Value for money, especially in Gloucester Road.

Nagyon jó elhelyezkedés, biztonságos a környék, gyalogosan 2 percen belül metró, busz, bolt, éttermek. A szoba tágas, tiszta, kényelmes ágy. A személyzet nagyon kedves és segítőkész. A bőröndre vigyáztak kijelentkezés után, így még fél napot a városban tudtunk nézelődni.

Kézi zuhanyfej jobb lett volna a fix fali helyett, wc kefe nincs.

Super Lage, kurze Wege zum öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Viele Cafés, Kneipen, Lokale und Geschäfte in der Umgebung, nicht nur die bekannten Ketten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich.

Viele Stufen und Schwellen, um ins Zimmer zu kommen, trotz Aufzug.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent—just a short walk from Gloucester Road Station, making travel around London very easy and convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting London!

Location is ideal for proximity to RAH which is why we chose it. Breakfast is ok, fairly basic. We eat in the restaurant one evening and that’s goos.

The location was excellent for the Royal Albert Hall where we were visiting for a concert.

We were put in a basement room which was quite dark and slightly claustrophobic and didn't represent the photos shown on the website. Although clean, the air conditioning unit was very noisy and the extractor in the bathroom needed a good clean. The outlook from the window was a tiny area looking onto an outside storage room. The property is in need of updating and the breakfast that was included was continental - you had to pay extra for a full english which wasn't made clear when booking. Overall We wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The old-fashioned, traditional atmosphere is fantastic. I felt at home straight away. Gorgeous chic-looking wallpaper everywhere, beautiful carpets and furniture. One feels the glorious past everywhere. And yet all is very clean. Comfortable bed, good breakfast, and lovely people at reception. The location is perfect, too.

Twin room was quite small and very warm. The air conditioning wouldn't go below 19 degrees. Staff were very helpful in trying to fix this for us and offered us an alternate double room, we preferred to stay in the twin.

Geräumiges Zimmer (Twin), sehr gut ausgestattet mit Wasserkocher, Bügeleisen mit Bügelbrett. Es gibt sogar 2 Schukosteckdosen. Die Lage zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist super. Nun ja, die Ecke ist nicht ganz ruhig, aber wir konnten trotzdem bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen.

Indian restaurant was excellent. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Hotel room was small but very comfortable. Nice ensuite had a bath as well. 15 percent discount given off evening meal just for staying at the hotel.

15 percent discount was promised on all food but this was not included on our breakfast when it should have been.

ロンドンに来る時はいつもモンタナホテルに宿泊します。もう10年以上。ロケーションがいいのが一番の良さでしたが、最近はスタッフが感じがよく、そこが気に入ってます。

特にありません。今回はダブルルームのシングルユースでしたので部屋の広さは問題ありませんでした。バスタブもついていました。シングルルームだとちょっと狭い感があります。それでも、毎回このホテルに泊まっているのですから、それ以上の快適さがあるのでしょう。

Hotellin sisustus oli sekä aulassa, käytävillä että huoneessa hienompi kuin odotin. Nämä aluuet olivat myös erittäin siistit. Huoneessa oli pieni jääkaappi, jonne sai hankittua ilta- ja aamupalat ja juomat kylmään valmiiksi. Huoneessa oli myös lavuaari ja peilikaappi, vaikka minulla ei ollut omaa wc:tä. Sijainti oli hyvä. Turvallisen tuntuisen kadun varrella ihan metroaseman, ruokakaupan ja Burger Kingin lähellä. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä. Erittäin tärkeä ja hyvä ominaisuus oli huoneessa ollut ilmalämpöpumppu, joka tuli todella tarpeeseen.

Jaetun kylpyhuoneen sisustus sen sijaan oli yksinkertaisempi ja välillä siellä oli siivottavaa. Piti kävellä yhdet raput ylös lähimpään kylpyhuone-wc:seen. Se oli suht lähellä huonetta, vaikka öisin sinne ei ollutkaan niin ihanaa kavuta käymään vessassa.
