Reviewed Dec 18, 2025We absolutely loved the apartment. It had everything we needed and more. It was so well equipped, stylish but still comfortable. Communication with the owners was seemless, and Himali and Ian were just wonderful. We booked the apartment for two different stays, with a short break in between whilst we travelled across NZ to visit friends. Coming back to the apartment after a few days was like returning to our home away from home. A great location, with amenities on the doorstep, like supermarket, bars, pharmacy etc. Local transport into the city was so easy, and cost effective. Loved the outside space where we could say hello to the chickens and feel relaxed.

If there is a housekeeper service to clean up the house once a week or every two weeks, that will be great.

Reviewed May 21, 2025One of the highlights was the dog-friendly park nearby - my furry friend loved it! The amenities at the apartment are top-notch - everything was clean and well-maintained.
I did notice that the heat pump in the living room was a bit noisy, which was a slight drawback. Despite this minor issue, I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. The pros far outweigh the cons, and I'll be back!"

Reviewed Jan 20, 2025What a beautiful secluded apartment! A full reno is evident and no expense spared with fixtures and fittings. The one bedroom (super king bed) apartment met our needs and the pullout couch was comfortable for the child. A full kitchen with everything you would need is complimented with a washer and dryer (didn't use). The bathroom had a shower with twin heads, LED light mirror (which was huge) and all the amenities needed. A nice little patio to sit in the mornings and listen to the chickens from the main house. Allocated car park and well lit at night. Supermarket is close by and easy drive to Eden Park.
Lockbox was a bit awkward to use and relock but managed ok.

Was a peaceful country feel like place to stay which was super surprising considering the location and nearby city surroundings! The owners have truely out done themselves :)
One tiny suggestion would be possibly looking at putting in a full body length mirror somewhere for those needing to check their outfit out for their trip/stay

Reviewed Oct 14, 2024it was a beautiful apartment, with beautiful furnishings and I loved the enclosed space outside for our dog to play outside. Loved the security lights outside, it felt very safe and secure. Easy access to the rubbish and recycling bins outside, overall it was a well equipped little apartment.
It was just too small for 3 adults.
