I liked everything about the place.

Everything was great. I needed a relaxing stay to recover from a long travel day and it did the perfect job. The host was very nice and helpful, and gave me some great recommendations for restaurants that were nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The room was beautiful, nice and quiet location.

If you go here, don't take the metro but the taxi. They already warn you about the steps / stairs to get there, but it is really more heavy than we expected coming there from the metro. So highly recommend taking the taxi which will take you all the way up.

Dimitris was very helpful and friendly. The space was clean and adequate for a 1-night stay

too many steps. the property is not situated in a street but halfway a long flight of stairs that connects two streets. Not very suitable for old people carrying luggage

Pas de ménage dans la chambre, même pas une visite rapide pour réapprovisionner le café/thé (nous sommes restés deux nuits) Le brasseur d'air au plafond qui ne fonctionnait pas, donc obligé d'utiliser l'air conditionné Les nombreuses marches pour venir à l'hôtel mais nous étions bien prévenus avant donc c'était pas un vrai problème

The staff were so communicative and helpful, the apartment was stylish, clean and comfortable. Great aircon and shower. The location was also great, perfect for walking up the hill for a view of Athens.

Voor aan de inkom deur te geraken moet je wel trappen op! Niet zo erg, maar wel belangrijk te weten. Overigens zijn er veel trappen in Athene dus niet zo abnormaal :)

Would recommend taking the taxi to the apartment if you have a suitcase. Upside: you are close to the sunset outlook point.

This was a very basic room that had very little ventilation and a dank cave like bathroom. Smelled a bit moldy.

Historisches Gebäude, das extrem schön renoviert wurde. Grosszügiges Zimmer mit Marmordusche und separatem WC, alles sehr geschmackvoll. Kühlschrank mit Getränken. Es gibt Hauswarte, die tagsüber ansprechbar sind. Sehr ruhig in angenehmer Umgebung.

Einziger Wermutstropfen nach einem langen Tag sind die Treppen, die man den Hügel hinaufsteigen muss. Belohnung: Ruhe und Aussicht!

The hotel is located in a quiet area near the park and is very close to the centre. The rooms are spacious and some of the historical features were maintained in the room.

This was honestly one of the most beautiful rooms we’ve stayed in. The floor tiles were gorgeous, and the decor throughout was so tastefully done. The room was a great size and had everything you could need: a lovely big shower, a really comfy bed, slippers, robes, a coffee machine, fridge, and complimentary water. We also had a little balcony which was such a nice touch, plus AC and a TV with all the streaming apps set up. The location is fantastic, a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood near Lycabettus Hill. As other reviews mention, there are quite a few stairs to get up to the apartment, but the host communicated this really clearly beforehand and gave great instructions and tips on the best way to manage it. We had a lot of luggage, so we took a taxi up, and the host kindly let us leave our bags there for the day since our flight wasn’t until late at night, really helpful and attentive throughout. On top of all that, it was great value for what you get, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and a brilliant location. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We have been the second time at Bugan-Villa. The rooms are really nice and offers a warm atmosphere. The host is very friendly and communicate proactively.

The location is not very central and there is no reception. However, the host is very transparent about these two points and offers clear communication and first-class support.

It’s located in a very nice part of town with heaps of nearby cafes. The owners are very amenable. The property was all very modern and good quality. Also a very quiet location which is a must for us.

I had a fantastic stay at Bugan-Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a relaxing city trip. The apartment was spacious, thoughtfully equipped, and featured a stylish, modern interior that created a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The overall vibe of the apartment was excellent and made my stay even more enjoyable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated during the hot Athens summer days. The location was excellent, allowing easy access to the main attractions, restaurants, cafés, and public transport. It was a great base for exploring Athens while still offering a peaceful atmosphere to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. The host was welcoming, responsive, and very helpful, taking the time to explain everything in the apartment. Communication via WhatsApp before arrival was smooth and efficient, making the entire experience stress-free. Overall, Bugan-Villa exceeded my expectations. The combination of comfort, cleanliness, stylish design, great location, and outstanding hospitality made for a perfect stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again on a future visit to Athens.

I was given the wrong key after a delayed flight. The customer service up to the booking was great but as soon as they made a mistake they stopped replying.

My flight was delayed, so I had to self check in. Everything was done well until I arrived at the location and they gave me the wrong key. My room was 304 but they gave me 204 key, at 2am i tried opening 204 but I could hear someone inside. Anyway, a human error that’s fine. What is not fine in my opinion is the lack of communication after the mistake. I paid for the cost of the room but after their mistake there was nothing. My flight was delayed, there was nothing I could do. But these people avoided my messages to keep the money. Where has good faith gone in this world? I know nothing of the rooms, because this place doesn’t actually care about people who stay here.

This location is amazing if one wants to take the cable car up the mountain, as it is one short flight of stairs away! The location is probably fine if one has a vehicle or takes cabs. Anyone on foot or using public transportation should know that it is up a long series of stairs and uphill streets. It took us about 20 minutes to get down all the stairs and steep sidewalks to Syntagma Square; it would be a brutal climb to reverse that trip unless someone is in excellent shape.

We had an exceptional stay at Bugan Villa. The location was perfect, in a beautiful and safe area close to everything we wanted to visit. The room was very clean, comfortable, and stylish, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel at home. The hosts were kind, responsive, and very helpful during our stay. Honestly, everything was great. No major complaints.

This was such a stunning stay, especially for the price. The interior was beautiful, with every detail thought about. I loved the furniture, and styling and felt like I was staying in a really high brow boutique. It felt like there were little zones, making it feel very spacious. There was ample space for all of my things. Additionally, I felt really safe locked into the room; it has a triple lock system so you feel secure knowing no one can come in. Mary the host was very receptive and clear with communication too.

For me personally, the location was a little quiet. It was very residential, and felt a little removed from the city centre due to the hill. However that might be to some people’s taste. I am a very active and fit person, but i really struggled carrying up my 20kg luggage up the steps. The hosts did let me know about the stairs so I was prepared ahead of time. I wasn’t looking forward to the journey downhill with luggage at the end of my stay but it is far easier on the way down! Additionally as the stay is a little out the way it means you are less likely to pop back into the place during the day. And as a solo woman I didn’t feel like venturing back out in the dark as the area is quiet.
