Reviewed Sep 3, 2026This was one of the best venues we have been to,everything was in place. Our dogs were happy ,we were happy and can refer this little gem to anyone looking for overnight stay on route to eastern Cape.
Maybe just a cloth or two to wipe cups after usage.

Perhaps a bigger sign board on the N6 like some of the Guest Cottages would be of great help to find the location a little easier.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Everything. The view, lovely, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. There were two bottles of water in the fridge as well. The owners and their children are very friendly and made us feel at home.
We didn't have a face towel. The other room doesn't have a full lenght mirror and also not a mirror for make-up.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026The place is undersold, I felt home, was not uncomfortable, not even once. I'm very particular about clean space because I'm an annoying OCD, but not even once did i find myself wanting to complain. I really had a pleasant stay.
Honestly nothing, place is perfect, they must just build more rooms and make the place bigger so that other travelers can get to enjoy like I did.

Ich war begeistert, was man aus einer Lagerhalle/Garage machen kann 😍 Bett war super bequem. Liebevoll eingerichtet.... Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Im Außenbereich sogar Holz und Grill. Preis - Leistungsverhältnis super. Komme gerne wieder, wenn ich in der Nähe bin.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2026I did not have breakfast because I left early. It is situated on a farm and therefore secluded, which I preferred. The keys were found in the lockbox as arranged, with no problems encountered. The room was very neat and tidy. I experienced no problems and the bonus was that I could park my vehicle in a garage.
I honestly have no complaints.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026Located on a secure farm just south of Aliwal North. The room is charming, with a double and single bed, tiny kitchen area and en suite bathroom. It has its own patio and braai area, and undercover parking. It is well located, particularly if you are headed south on the N6 early in the morning and want to avoid town.

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect for us — right on the N6, which made it a convenient stopover during our trip. The place was very neat and had everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere.
The only small downside was that there were limited plug points in the room, and they were a bit far from the bed. It would be even more convenient if there were a few extra outlets closer to the sleeping area.
