The Ballarat Apartment

Loved the location and how close it was to the centre, so many activities and restaurants we loved and not too far to travel to the ski fields.

The bar/ night club across the road was every night til 2:30am - 4am every night. Enough base to rattle the windows. Expected noise, did not expect live by inside a night club. Really not happy & question what venues are allowed to do.

Amazing location in the heart of Queenstown. Unit had everything you need for a very comfortable stay.

Only thing was the pub noise across the road late at night….not too bad though.

Clear instructions provided and entry was via a door code which made coming and going very easy for everyone. Main entry is via the office block entry and elevator. Located right in the heart of town so very convenient to access restaurants, shops and the waterfront. There are a few pubs/bars downstairs and across the road. This was a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning but expected given the apartment's location. The double glazing somewhat helped to minimise this. Really expansive space to relax and watch the world go by. Nice views over the town, lake and mountains. Lovely gas fireplace. Great facilities in the kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Parking is available but it is not onsite as indicated on Booking.com listing stating 'Free private parking is possible on site’. Parking is in s secure spot in a different building in a different street which is about a 5 min walk away. This was a bit inconvenient as we had a 90 year old travelling with us so we had to hope that one of the paid parking spots out the front were available which was not ideal.

The apartment was amazing, the location was perfect and the views were stunning! We had such a wonderful stay and will most definitely be back 😊

Parking not actually on site despite booking.com showing onsite parking. Very loud at night from pubs next door so would benefit from sound proof windows.

the property was excellent, spacious, clean and very central.

we loved everything about the property however the only negative was that it was a big noisy but that was due to its central position.

Location is wonderful. A short walk to anywhere you wanted to be. Office staff super kind and helpful. Marvellous to be able to share a space with our entire family. Very relaxing accomodation.

Take earplugs as the surrounding hotels and clubs kick off! Great if you wish to join them…earplugs if you don’t! We were there across a weekend though so that’s to be expected in any central district of any city.
