Beautiful setting. Comfortable bed and warm with the fire. Unique accommodation and very friendly welcome
Unfortunately the hot water supply was not working. A toaster and microwave in the kitchen would be useful.
Out of town.

Dome was amazing, wish we'd stayed longer.
Further down the gravel track than we anticipated but it was fine, and worth it.
The location was stunning and the pods were really comfortable and thoughtfully kitted out. The owner provided delicious home grown peaches and provisions for breakfast & great local knowledge.
It was a bit of an anxious drive in a car rental which wasn’t 4x4 up to the actual pods. I’d have liked a warning option to leave cars at the bottom of the hill and walk up with luggage. We arrived quite late so couldn’t assess what was to come. (Or even be taxied up in their car. ) We would have happily walked though.
The location was absolutely beautiful and the domes were lovely. They were tastefully decorated and very cosy! Louise was a fabulous host and provided us with everything we possibly needed to make our stay very comfortable.
Absolutely everything, the accommodation is beautiful. The host and her homemade cookies are a win for all guests staying.
The property offers a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, excellent facilities, hiking/biking trails, and wonderful hosts.
Very remote and off grid, relaxing
Couldn’t get the fire to stay lit
The eggs were delicious. Breakfast was excellent 👌
Beatiful location. Comfortable domes. Very comfortable beds. Nice walks in the property.
Really special place to stay. Super relaxing and tranquil environment surrounded by nature. Very comfy king size bed , lovely furnishing in each Dome. Well equipped kitchen & outdoor bbq area , breakfast provided too. Would recommend hiring bikes and riding along the river loop. Great star gazing too. Louise is a great host and has thought of everything to make sure you have a great stay.

Secluded and a peaceful location, luxurious tent and lovely helpful staff.
All good
Peaceful

Beautiful setting, away from it all. Loved the dome experience, the big window looking out at river cliffs was amazing. Very comfy bed
Far away from hustle and bustle, we spent our time walking, swimming, or just sitting with a book. Perfect break.
Tents got quite hot during the day and mosquito net didn't like to stay in place.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds and a particularly scenic spot. We I'll be back to camp.
At this price point (Dome glamping) you would expect to have a private shower connected to the accomodation. The one to use is a short walk to the communal kitchen area. Plenty of hot water though. Nice powerful shower.
It’s in a great location close enough to town to go get groceries but also far enough away to get some peace and quiet. There were lots of trails and close to the river.
Driving on the gravel road to get there made us a little nervous but it was fine.
Dome are really spacious, all the comfort you need.

Amazing location! Fabulous domes - super luxurious, well-appointed, very tastefully decorated. Everything present that one required to have an amazing stay. Showers were fab, kitchen well-appointed, tidy & clean. Fire brazier was a magical touch at night, walking/cycling tracks around property were fun too.
My car (a little low in the front!) did not like the bumpy gravel road in - but that's the car's fault.
Loved its uniqueness, its isolation, the setting and the peace and quiet that came as a result of all of this
The metal road but I accept the reason for why it’s so.
ruhig, abgelegen
man muss Schotterstrasse fahren können .-)
Louise and family have created a real gem, and we are lucky that they share it. Outstanding hospitality, we are farmers and we enjoyed the tranquil location next to the Whanganui River. The Dome was gorgeous, very clean and extremely comfortable bed.
The domes are very cool, and the work they did on the MTB tracks is incredible. If you love mountain biking, this place needs to be on your list.
You will be far from civilisation and have no phone coverage. In wintertime, the place gets very cold and damp.
Comfy beds, good cooking facilities and warm shower and flushable toilet. Clean. Good place to see the stars. Spacious.
Was a little cold after the fire burned out but it's winter so that's expected and there's plenty of blankets provided
Was a lovely day Beautiful sitting ideally if the fire was going when we arrived it would’ve been warmer but hey it’s Glamping ! Unfortunately we had to leave earlier - will definitely book again!
I want to shout out to Louise who was a wonderful cheerful host …was just the perfect place to relax …very tranquil, my partner Debz absolutely loved the place and explored the landscape around area…I will be recommending this location to our many friends and family.
Didn’t get to stay longer to really take in the beautiful scenery
Everything was beautiful. Despite the remote location, they had Wifi available but it was nice to switch off from the world and be present. There were mountain biking tracks/walking tracks which were beautiful. The land is very well looked after. We were thoroughly impressed. The host is amazing. She brought some home baking and even had a variety of fresh fruit for us to help ourselves to. She had the most amazing nature about her. I have no complaints whatsoever about our stay.
Nothing
Host is very friendly and down to earth, Dome itself is very comfortable and nicely setup. Kitchen is sufficient and breakfast option is nice.
It gets a bit cold at night - fireplace is harder to light up But it could just being us not experienced.
The quiet location
We liked everything
The glamping domes are spacious, comfortable and Louise has done a beautiful job decorating them. It feels like home away from home. The adjacent toilet is convenient and the well equipped kitchen and nearby showers provide everything one needs. Plus Louise provided fresh eggs and muesli / yoghurt for a delicious breakfast. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. This is THE perfect place to stay if riding the Mountains to Sea or Tour Aotearoa as the back entry to the domes through private land and back roads is a superb end to the days ride along the river and allows you to skip riding the normal route along Highway 4.
Nothing -- it's great!
The Host is warm and friendly Beautiful Space
Once we found the property it was wonderful, to be honest it’s off the beaten track but we had the place to ourselves and that was really nice. Hosts/ owners were great! Domes were big and very comfortable. We had a great stay!
Getting to the property is a bit confusing, but our navigation system was more to blame than anything.
Loved everything about this place! What an amazing place to stay. Louise is awesome, dropped off some home baking and fresh fruit from the orchard. Can’t ask for more. Beds are very comfortable and everything is well looked after. More than we expected!
A combination of peace and an abundance of activities by way of swimming, mountain bike and tramping makes it a place to suit all age groups
Having to leave!
Peace and quiet.
No mirror Insufficient ventilation
Everything, so peaceful, lovely dome tent , comfy bed and great walks to explore
We couldn't get the fire going !
