The staff were amazing, especially Mustafa who went above and beyond. I lost my Kindle and he went out of his way to return it when I came back to Istanbul. The location was walking distance to the Blue Mosque etc. and so convenient. Extremely clean and the room was beautiful.

I loved it all.

The accommodation was in a peaceful part of Istanbul, near Kapali carsi and tram station. Everything was clean, the service was great. Mustafa always replied to the messages and helped us a lot during our stay. The lady that cleans is so nice. We didn't take breakfast in the accommodation, but Mustafa recommended his uncle’s place where we had breakfast every morning - it was super delicious.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und relativ neu gestaltet. Es war sehr sauber! Das Personal war sehr nett, auch wenn sie nicht jederzeit direkt im Hotel waren konnte man sie telefonisch erreichen! Fußläufig hatte man alles was man brauchte. Ich würde dieses Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen

We stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect! Check in was smooth, we had room cleaned daily, tea available at the room and most important - it was so quiet. Everything spotless clean and the stairs are not that bad as in other reviews. We had no issues whatsoever.

Todo, la habitación, la limpieza, el personal, la ubicación... Incluso pudimos hacer antes el check in. De los sitios donde hemos estado durmiendo estos 10 días el mejor, es donde más hemos descansado. En el resto de sitios o las camas eran muy duras o muy blandas. Estás eran ideales.

El hotel está nuevo,es como en las fotos aunque es el único edificio reformado del barrio, los alrededores son feos

Estuvimos cinco noches y solo nos hicieron la habitación dos días, no entiendo por qué, además casi nunca había nadie en recepción por lo que no podíamos ni pedir papel higiénico. Las almohadas muy altas e incomodas

A minor drawback is the hair dryer — the air gets very hot, and it overheats quickly (it runs for 3–5 minutes and then turns off to cool down). But for me it wasn't a problem

Staff gentilissimo. Camere esageratamente pulite, bellissime e ricche di particolari.ottimo il riscaldamento. Frigo,smart TV, cassaforte,terrazzino con vista mare . Ottima posizione

L'hotel è situato in ottima posizione, molto centrale e vicina ai maggiori punti d'interesse. La stanza è piccola ma molto confortevole e ben riscaldata. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche la pulizia. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

хороший отель , чисто , современные номера , красиво оформленные , качественный ремонт. Управляющий отлем - помогал с такси , рассказывал где какие достопримечательности. Мы остались довольны.

Καθαρό, όμορφο δωμάτιο, πολύ κοντά στα βασικά αξιοθέατα με τα πόδια. Η περιοχή συνολικά είναι αρκετά παρατημένη, ωστόσο έχει ό,τι μπορεί να χρειαστείς σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση.

Θα μπορούσε να έχει περισσότερα σημεία νά ακουμπάς τα πράγματά σου, ειδικά στο μπάνιο και καλύτερη ηχομόνωση.

Очень приветливый персонал. Управляющий отеля Мустафа - помогал советами на месте , организовывал такси и другие моменты. Очень Ему признателен . Я отдыхал с бывшей женой и дочерью, мы все остались довольны.

I never stayed at this place at all. The whole area is filthy and couldn’t even check in the hotel. The description and images are completely different from reality. I don’t think the place is safe at all. I told my driver to turn and found another hotel to stay.

Very cozy hotel. The room is cleaned every day and very well. The staff is very friendly. The location is very convenient, you can walk to the sights of the city. There are a lot of places to eat nearby. In a word - all the amenities!

Die Lage ist top! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und jeden Tag wird alles frisch gewechselt. Der Vermieter kümmert sich ausgezeichnet um einen und geht auf jeden Wunsch ein! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Room was small for the three of us, but we made it work. Staff were lovely. Couldn't fault them in any way. I was happily stay here again.

Power outages are common for the area, the room was very hot, a window would have been nice to have opened to get some air.

Hotel is really nice, just like on the pictures. And staff is great. I would especially like to commend the cleaning lady! The lady carefully cleaned the room every day and always made sure that the accommodation was clean!

Friendly staff and great service! Rooms are not big, but very clean. They were quick to help and really cared about our experience.

Great Location in the middle of Fatih and therefore close to everything. The hotel is pretty new and the room was absolutely clean.

If your not good on foot the the you’ll have troubles to get to the hotel as well as to get to your room as there are steep stairs.

Struttura nuova,costruita da un anno circa, situata nella “old city” a circa 600 mt dalle zone più importanti di Istanbul. La camera tripla pur non essendo grande è perfettamente strutturata dotata di tutti i comfort e molto pulita. Ogni giorno vengono effettuate le pulizie. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. MOSTAFA, il padrone della struttura, è un ragazzo gentile, premuroso e sempre disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta. Se torneremo a Istanbul sapremo già dove alloggiare.

Nagyon szép szoba, kényelmes ágy,,jó helyen van, ahhoz hogy gyorsan eljuthass a bazárba, a tengerpartra, vagy a kék mecsethez illetve a villamoshoz, ami elvisz további látnivalókhoz.

It’s clean on the first day. It’s in a good location in terms of near the centre.

Triple room is cramped. Barely any walking space at the bottom end of the bed. Bathroom has no extractor fan or window. No lift so have to carry heavy suitcases up very narrow stairs. No reception staff in the hotel overnight. Water, coffee and tea were not replenished. Stayed 2 nights and the rooms weren’t cleaned. Towels not replaced. The Staff in comparison to other hotel staff in Istanbul were not very friendly. The stairs outside the building are a pain if you have multiple suitcases to carry too. The rooms are claustrophobic when you look out of the window it’s bricked up like a prison.

The property was small but comfortable. We didn’t check room size before booking so the triple occupancy room was pretty tight for 3 people so we booked an additional room. Rooms were clean and well supplied. Rooms are cleaned every two days but we were able to get towels upon request. Mustafa, the property manager was extremely nice and helpful. He helped us with our luggage and also arranged airport transfer for us from the hotel. He provided his watsapp number, was quick to respond and fulfill our requests. Extremely happy with his hospitable service. The location is convenient. It took 8 mins to walk from the hotel to the tram stop at Beyazit which is right across Grand Bazar. So location is very convenient if you want to be in Sultanahmet area.

The only thing I would point out is that the walk from the hotel to the main Road is uphill and the streets were pretty dark at night except for one street which was lit up fairly well. We didn’t have any issues or concerns walking up and down that street at 1 am at night but just wanted to mention that it gets pretty dark at night with no street lights.

Nous avons apprécié d'être contactés avant notre séjour et l'accueil qui nous a été réservé. La chambre et la salle de bain sont décorées avec goût et très propres. Le personnel a été très sympathique et de bon conseil.

The host / owners were very nice and hospitable. The hotel is basically brand new with comfortable beds, sparkling bathrooms and very cool design. AC worked great. They also had instant coffee and water. They have a rooftop seating area that has bosphorus views.

The old city part of Istanbul is not as clean as the other parts. It is great if you would like to be close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and other touristic areas, but the streets are not as clean. Because turkiye has gotten so much more expensive, each restaurant is constantly stopping you to get them to eat with them which gets tiring after a while.

The rooms are clean and the price-quality ratio is ok. The staff is friendly, but they get along very well with the guys at the parking lot

Located in the old town on a somewhat dubious street. Although the parking is public, we had to pay 25 euros per day to some guys who were standing there all day and who, of course, did not issue any kind of receipt or invoice.

Moustafa is an amazing host and runs a great little boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. The place is spotlessly clean, located in a very quiet area. A short walk away from the sights. Around the corner from his place is a wonderful little cafe offering amazing breakfast. Already without Moustafa I would have rated this place with five stars but he really makes all the difference - he made us feel at home. Always gave us helpful tips. I would always stay here again.

Really well renovated building. It’s quaint and very narrow. (Sandwiched between 2 other buildings) It’s smaller than it looks in the photos, but it’s very well done and very clean. Everything works. The bed is comfortable, the shower is great. Little balcony to breathe in the city air at night (or a cheeky cigarette).

The area that the hotel is in, is pretty scruffy. The street outside is loaded with rubble and on a more isolated street from the heart of the old town. Having said that, you have access to more authentic restaurants and it’s all a part of the fun of discovering off the beaten path locations. I feel if they could work together with the other people and hotels on the street, they could clean it up and make it something really special.

Don't normally write reviews but this way maybe best service we have had in a hotel. Contact on whatsapp from the off to ensure every aspect of our trip was catered to including late night taxi to airport which he stayed to ensure it went ahead and at local rates. Room exceptional. Couldn't ask for more for the price!

Location-wise: a little noise outside that was to be expected for the area in the middle of the most touristy district in the biggest city in Europe but nothing that kept us awake.

The location is fantastic—close to major attractions like the Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque, but tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, stylish, and cozy, with all the modern amenities you could need. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the strong Wi-Fi. Overall, Mahsen Hotel offers excellent value for money, warm hospitality, and a truly local feel. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Istanbul!
