Everything was amazing. Bonus points for the delicious coffee machine. I would definitely stay longer next time.

If I didn't have kids, I would sleep in for sure. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Amazing

I live in Tauranga so for me to stay anywhere but my own house was different in saying that the house was amazing. It felt so homely and welcoming. The host went above and beyond to accommodate to my needs and also my late check out. The neighbor hood was so quiet and clean even with a school next door. Would definitely recommend to any whanau coming here to stay.

Everything was perfect. My family and I enjoyed our stay because we came back to a HOME. A place where we could just be a family. Loud laughs, fun and just be us.

Fourth bedroom is actually sleepout that does not have access from the main house. We had hoped that our five grandchildren could sleep in this and give their parents a good nights rest. Unfortunately, this didn’t work. Not really a major issue however.

The cleanliness, location, comfort and hot tub!

This is a very well located property. It’s a five minute drive to the Mount, two minutes to the closest supermarket and walking distance to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and there was enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. There’s also a nice hot tub. Eli, the owner, was very friendly.

Unfortunately, our experience was not the best. We arrived thirty minutes after the check-in time, and the house was not ready to receive us. It was still being cleaned and we weren’t able to shower and all our evening plans got delayed. We were staying with a large group of family members, seven adults and two kids, and there was only one shower, which was inconvenient. We also had plans to relax and play board games at night, but we couldn’t because the living area, despite being beautifully decorated, is not very functional and comfortable. The chairs are very uncomfortable and there is no proper couch, only a few padded seats that get uncomfortable after 5 minutes, so we couldn’t all hang out together and had to go to our rooms instead. For a beach location, it would have been great to have a dryer, as our towels and swimming clothes were all wet and we needed them for the next day. We all had to wear damp clothes the next day and had no towels to use. The sleep out room was nice but has no bathroom, so it’s a bit of a pain if you need to go in the middle of the night, especially if it’s cold outside, as there’s no access from inside. It also has drapes over the access door, which is made out of glass, so you need to choose between having it down and dealing with the noise of putting it up in the middle of the night, or leaving it up and having the light from outside coming in. All the pillows are high-profile, so half of us didn’t sleep well. Luckily, I brought my pillow, so I was fine. There’s also no shampoo or conditioner, so bring your own. Soap was provided. The kitchen was well-equipped but we missed having a blender, and the knives were impossible to use as they were all blunt. The barbecue batteries were dead, so we needed to buy matches. All and all, we liked the location and it all looked beautiful, but it was not a very comfortable stay for our group.

An iron was supplied which we needed to use, but no ironing board. Host turned up on site without advising us first that he was calling in on property.

Location was great - handy to Bay Oval, downtown Mount and the beach. The hosts were awesome, accommodated our requests! Thank you.

The only thing, why it got 9 instead of 10 was that the couches and chairs inside weren’t very comfy/cozy. Because we sat and lounged lazily in the evening - that’s the only reason we took particular notice. We moved outside which was a bit better.

Great location with all the necessary amenities. The host Eli was very helpful and welcoming. The off street parking was a bonus too. A+

We never saw the property because Eli on the day we were arriving, double booked our night and offered us his friend’s home which couldn’t accommodate 8 adults so he added offering his parents home since they were on holiday! Neither place was through booking.com oh, he added:”and at no extra charge!” We were shocked by the entire situation and scrambled to find other accommodations

It was a very comfortable property - excellent for families and an easy walk to the beach and a good cafe. Also peaceful and quiet area a little away from the worst of the noise and crowds.

A couple of very minor maintenance issues- it didn’t bother us at all.

Neighbour's are a little rude, want everyone inside and not speaking by 10pm which is so unrealistic, but Eli was able to let us know about the neighborhood and prewarned us that the noise travels if you're outside

The layout was perfect for our group. I wasn’t expecting the outdoor space which was a bonus. Eli couldn’t have been nicer.

Our host was really friendly and accommodating with all our requests. Place was nice,clean perfect for groups or families. Nice and quite location. Close to everything. Would happily stay again.

Parking was a bit of a pain. Only one bathroom however did have two toilets.
