Omanu Cottage

Such a cute little cottage with a modern interior. Everything you would need for a short stay and close to the. Punt, ocean and airport. This was our second time and just as great as the first. Maria and Paul are exceptional hosts.

The property was clean and comfortable, it had all the conveniences etc. towels and kitchen utensils . Location was perfect and private

The driveway was very tricky t.o back out of.

Eine sehr nette kleine Wohnung, die alles hat, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt "auf der Durchreise" benötigt. Toll ist, dass es eine Waschmaschine mit integriertem Trockner gibt und auch Waschmittel zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Vielen Dank für diesen Service! Auch ein Schirm liegt bereit. Auch dieser war für uns sehr hilfreich. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr nett und sehr unkompliziert. Das Häuschen selbst liegt in einer Wohngegend, ca. 15 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Für alles andere, wie z.B. Mount Maunganui etc. muss man das Auto nutzen.

Das einzige, was wirklich abenteuerlich ist, ist die Zufahrt zum Carport. Wir sind mit unserem Miet-SUV nur einmal hineingefahren und haben das Auto dann auf der Straße geparkt, weil die Einfahrt extrem eng ist.

Well equipped cottage with comfortable bed. Bonus : washing machine and outdoor wash point for sandy gear. Conveniently located between Mt. Maunganui and good eating places.

Narrow driveway

The location is next to a golf course and close to the city center. The price was very good, especially for how nice the city is and it's location.

The place was very near the stadium where my son played. It was very clean and all you need is there. There were also sweet treats on the fridge 🥰

There was nothing to dislike about the property.

This property was in an excellent location for the event we were attending nearby. Although we didn't meet the owner, she'd kindly left us Easter eggs in the fridge and messaged us to see if all was fine after some wild weather while we were there. It was a very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated cottage, with a full kitchen and plenty of space for the two of us.

Everything was great. The only suggestion I could make is for another small waste basket in the bathroom, for convenience.

It was a really cozy and beautiful place to stay. Paula and Maria are absolutely lovely and the homemade treats were delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone- we'll definitely be back!

It has a nice cosy vibe to the cottage, Great for the few days I was there. Location was good close to amenities. Had all that I need to cooked my dinners.

What a charming little cottage tucked in amongst urban houses.It had cute curb appeal with a sunny seating area in the front and a shaded porch. The back garden was very private with greenery and a clothes drying rack. The cottage has a washer/dryer combo which is a nice feature when travelling. The interior is beautifully appointed and feels quite spacious. It is close to downtown, airport and the beach.

The only downside for some would be the narrow drive that needs to be negotiated backwards when leaving. There is a school and swimming pool off the backyard that can be noisy during the day but quiets down in the late afternoon. Just go sightseeing during this time.

It was within walking distance to the beach, a little long but well within reason. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Getting into and out of the driveway was a little difficult but manageable.

Loved the property it was adorable and very comfortable. We were very well equipped, especially in the kitchen where all shorts of tools were available.

It was a good size. A one bedroom house. Considering location not noisy at night. It had everything. Well equipped home from home.

Really loved Maria’s hospitality, the house is so cute and was perfect for our stay. Its like a cute beach house with so much greenery around, the facilities were excellent, we even were greeted with treats and chocolates. We had a laundry access and we had beach towels offered us. The owners are very generous and we had a really good time.

The neighbor's cat who visited was so awesome and very friendly :) This cottage is just the perfect little place to stay :)

There was nothing that I did not like. The only matter for me was the car parking space. I had a small car, so it was okay to turn around but a larger vehicle would struggle. I didn't have a reversing camera, and this would have helped. This would not put me off staying again however!!

Owners so noice were very accommodating to our needs slept 4 adults comfortably though they were super helpful with letting us know that fold our couch was small for two adults. But was perfectly fine for us. Lived our stay 10/10

Went to the mount for my dads wedding and needed somewhere to say for the weekend, this cute little cottage was just the right size for me and my small family. It was very clean and perfect for our short stay. We will definitely be back again 😁
