The location was exceptional - close to Ubud Palace, Monkey Forest and all the art markets. The staff were very helpful as I had forgotten my laptop bag in a Grab taxi, but they communicated with the driver who eventually dropped my bag. There was a lovely pool and free water available all the time.

No clear signage from the road to the hotel.

Super central location, set back from the noise of the city. Attached to the city's first public library which was cool. Had a very "family run" vibe, like youre staying in a traditional balinese house complex. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

Only negative was the noise at night, but the guesthouse warned us and offered for us to rebook somewhere else if it would a problem. Bring earplugs and itll be fine.

The location was perfect,walking distance to cafes,restaurants and supermarkets also monkey forest nearby.The staff were so lovely always greeting you,helped us carry our bags up the stairs,offered to help us book activities and the room was very clean lovely balcony with chairs and comfy bed!

They do music lessons at the property so sometimes could be noisy during the day but if your out all day it’s fine,the bathroom is a bit outdated and we noticed quite a few ants in the bathroom and near the sink,curtains are very thin so soon as it’s light you will be woken up.

La salle de bains était humide et pas très pratique (une fois qu’on a pris la douche le sol est trempé pour utiliser les toilettes, et vu l’humidité ca ne sèche pas) La piscine est quasi tout le temps à l’ombre et donc vraiment froide (mi juin)

Great location in the city centre ✅️ staff are friendly and helpful ✅️ room is very comfortable and clean ✅️ I had a pool right outside my room which was lovely! And the rooms feel very private. Really great stay! The only suggestion I have is that the rooms would benefit from having fridges.

Sometimes a bit of noise from the music lessons they do on site, but I only heard this once on my last day, and it only lasted an hour, but is quite noisy if you want to relax! It was during the day so would unlikely be an issue for most as you'd be out and about.

The location of this property in Ubud is excellent. You are so close to many restaurants and cafes but can retreat back to the guesthouse for a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The ambiance of the property is very nice as it is also a library and there are often woodcarving and gentle music classes taking place. Filtered water is always available. We extended our stay twice! As there was not a room available for our last night, they let us stay in a room that was being renovated (nearly finished) and it was absolutely stunning!!

It was very central and walking distance to everything.

I rented a scooter, finding the location was a bit confusing. The GPS didn’t take you to the entrance, and points you into some back alley. It wasn’t very clear that it is literally part of or INSIDE the Library and you check in at the Library. There is a sidewalk entrance on the North end of the Soccer field in front of the library, you have to ride your scooter down it to get to the front parking.

Jättebra läge med nära till de större gatorna med butiker och restauranger, men ligger lite undangömt vilket gör att det är lugnt och tyst trots närheten till allt liv.

Lite fläckar på lakanet, i övrigt kändes det rent.

I came here solo and was warmly welcomed by the people here. They are really helpful and friendly. I met a great front desk staff who recommended a lot of nice places and restaurants. This place is only a 10-minute walk to Ubud Palace, surrounded by many shops and restaurants. There is also a convenience store just less than 5 minutes away. Definitely will come again!

Це наш другий приїзд в Убуд і повернення в наш апартамент. Розташування в центрі, але дуже тихо. Гарний номер з виходом до доглянутого басейну. Прекрасний персонал. Наявність кухні загального користування. Вода, чай і кава для гостей постійно в наявності.

Location was good

This place is at heart of Ubud and is very safe and secure. Stuff can left in the room with minimum surveillance. Yulia, the host, is polite and friendly, shared great travel ideas and food choices. Its a great place to stay in Ubud. Vintage baliese room with very comfortable bed, little swimming pool to chill and unwind. Slept well every night there. Very spacious and I would say its great value

It was a heavy downpour when I reached. Drenched big time bc its situated in middle of road and side of the football field. For pple who grabbing in, do tell the driver to drop off the carpark beside the football field. Room layout ad decoration is dated but its bearable for me. Due to geographic location, ants are almost everywhere. While they are harmless, it's not very pleasant for ants moving around ur dressing table. Occasionally, baby lizards are found crawling around the premise which is really beyond the host.Toilet bowls had old stains which I hope something could have been done.

The first impression after a long flight was the friendly staff who carried my case to my room and were so attentive. The hotel arranged to have a driver pick me up from the airport and drive me to the hotel at a very competitive rate and made my journey very simple. The hotel is run by a wonderful family, and they still run a library within the hotel, which is very sweet as it is a library handed down through the family generations. The hotel is stunning and much bigger than you imagine from outside, and the lovely owners allowed me to store my milk in their fridge, which I am very thankful for. The hotel is spotless and rooms huge, all with a view of the stunning clean pool. The beds were very comfortable, air conditioning great, and a kettle provided with tea and coffee. The location is fabulous, in the center so you can walk to all the sights, bars and restaurants but off the street so very quiet. Some people mentioned in the reviews about the noise of the nearby bar, but I am a very light sleeper and didn't hear a sound? I would definitely recommend this hotel with no hesitation, I had a wonderful stay here, and I will definitely be back when I return next year to Ubud. Thank you all for looking after me. ❤️

Such a unique setting tucked behind a library and cultural centre. The location is fantastic - central Ubud, just steps from restaurants, shops, bars, and spas - yet set back from the road, so it feels peaceful (only the occasional sound from a nearby bar). The room had a nice big bed, daily housekeeping available, access to kitchen facilities, and a clean swimming pool. Yulia, our host, and everyone we met were incredibly kind and helpful. Overall, it was amazing value for money, a real pleasure to stay here, and I would highly recommend it. Thank you! 😊

Bathroom: The shower was new and excellent, though the rest of the bathroom could benefit from a little refresh.

L’établissement a son charme ! Il y’a une belle librairie et un beau jardin avec un petit temple. L’hôtel a aussi sa propre piscine. L’emplacement est super on est vraiment au cœur d’Ubud sans être dans la rue principale. Il est caché dans une petite ruelle ce qui fait qu’on entends rien et qu’on est épargné de l’agitation d’ubud. Il y a pleins de restos, supermarchés et boutiques à proximité et on peut tout faire à pied. Si vous restez peu de jours sur Ubud c’est l’établissement idéal.

La salle de bain est fonctionnel mais le tuyau de la clim qui pend dans le vide m’a un peu dérangé (c’est vraiment chercher la petite bête)

This is just personal preference but we like to spend a lot of time at the pool and because it’s enclosed by building not much sun - but overall we had a great time :)

Que no salía agua caliente ni 3 minutos seguidos por lo que jo nos podíamos duchar dos personas seguidas sin dejar antes unas horas de espera. Las sábanas estaban llenas de maquillaje y había muchos bichitos incluso encima de la cama.

Las imágenes corresponden totalmente con la habitación. Julia y el staff fueron muy amables. Te mandan un mensaje notificando que puede haber ruido en la noche por un bar cercano, pero realmente no es molesto, con el AC encendido en la noche no escuchas nada (a menos de que tengas un sueño muy ligero)

Todo estuvo bien, solo que no aceptan tarjeta de crédito, solo cash.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette charmante GuestHouse, situé au sein de la plus vielle librairie de Ubud. Il faut savoir que tous les revenus générés par la GuestHouse permettent de financer cette livrairie si importante pour les habitants d'Ubud. Le logement est très propre, joliment décoré et en restant typique avec une grande baie qui donne sur cette piscine privée. Un vrai havre de paix dans la ville tumultante de Ubud. Le logement est situé à proximité d'un bar de nuit. De ce fait on entend légèrement la musique la nuit, mais rien qui ne nous à empecher de dormir. Notre hôte a été au petit soin avec nous en nous donnant de bonnes recommandations d'activités et en nous proposant de les réserver pour nous. Je vous recommande de passer par le contact de notre hôte pour le taxi qui relie l'aéroport de Dempasar à Ubud, le tarif est très honnête et le chauffeur est très gentil. Je vous recommande ce logement idéalement situé dans Ubud, qui permet de soutenir une bonne cause.
