Casa meravigliosa e molto curata, dotata di tutti i servizi, compresa lavatrice e asciugatrice (una manna durante un on the road), cucina gigante e bagno sia con doccia che con vasca. Peccato non averla vissuta di più!

Avevo richiesto la culla ma non l ho trovata montata, una volta trovata l'abbiamo montata noi, ma il proprietario, molto gentile, si era offerto di venire lui a farlo!

Die Lodge ist wunderbar gelegen, direkt oberhalb von Hotel, Straße und Fjord mit Ausblick auf selbigen. Zum sympathischen kleinen Ort mit Café, Bar und Laden sind es ein paar Minuten zu Fuß am Wasser entlang. Auch im Hotel kann man super essen oder auf ein Getränk in die Bar gehen. Die Lodge selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet und wirklich geschmackvoll dekoriert. Das Häuschen wurde mit viel Liebe und Geschick saniert und das schöne alte vorhandene Zedernholz in den Innenräumen erhalten. Das gibt dem Ganzen ein sehr besonderes flair 😍 Das Haus ist wunderbar luftig und friedlich. Es herrscht absolute Ruhe und man schläft himmlisch und wacht morgens mit herrlichem Blick ins Grüne auf. Selbst beim Kochen, Essen und Duschen 😉 ist eine tolle Aussicht geboten. Die Lodge ist lichtdurchflutet und in Wirklichkeit heller als es auf den Fotos scheint. Sehr praktisch war das Vorhandensein einer Waschmaschine samt Trockner, den wir aufgrund des hervorragenden Wetters samt Wäscheleine nicht benötigten. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist persönlich, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich 😃 Wir waren rundum glücklich während unserer Woche in der Cedarwood Lodge und können einen Aufenthalt hier uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We had a brilliant stay at Cedar Wood and couldn't have asked for better. The house was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It really felt like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect peaceful getaway.

We used the lodge as a base when climbing Mweelrea, for this it was perfect. You can walk to cafes, pubs and the hotel. The lodge has everything needed for comfortable self catering and the decor is beautiful

An amazing place to stay. Very spacious, very clean. Very good value. Comfortable beds and pillows, warm, plenty of hot water, good parking. Full kitchen inc fridge freezer, range cooker, full dining area and chairs, utility area with washing machine and dryer. Great location, would highly recommend 👌 A *

On a trouvé facilement la maison. Les indications que nous avions reçues étaient précises. La vue est très bien un côté mer un côté montagne. La maison est confortable et bien équipée et bien décorée. Les couchages sont très bons. Nous avons dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel qui se trouve près de la maison et nous avons très bien manger.

Prefect location, decor throughout was stunning, was kept at a warm temperature throughout, everything was very clean, good communication. I would actually move in here! Will definitely be back.

Only recommendation is maybe a mattress topper, other than that everything else was perfect.

The style and layout of the accommodation. It is very spacious, the appearance is deceptive. All mod-cons equipment and kitchenware available. A great location to explore Leenane amd surrounding area.

The lodge is cosy, beautifully decorated, and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We loved the peaceful setting and stunning views, the perfect place to relax and enjoy Connemara. Would definitely stay again!

Abbiamo pernottato presso questa struttura quasi per caso e meno male che lo abbiamo fatto! Ci siamo trovati benissimo sotto ogni punto di vista, location perfetta per passare una o più notti in totale relax in un ambiente molto suggestivo. Cucina piena di accessori, camere da letto super confortevoli e bagno grande con doccia e vasca! Posizione ottima vicina sopratutto al Connemara National Park Centre. Consigliatissimo!

La maison est très belle et confortable. A chaque fenêtre une vue incroyable ( vallée d'un côté ou Fjord de l'autre ). Les chambres sont spacieuses et cosy. On s'y sent vraiment bien. C'était parfait pour clôturer notre road trip irlandais.

It had a homely feel to it and the views were spectacular!! Great place to go to escape away from the busyness of day to day lives and just rewind with your little family! Would return again in a heartbeat!

One of the best place we have stayed in recent times. The cottage is really beautiful, comfortable and luxurious. We really loved this place so much that we are already planning to stay here for weeks or month next time.. This place has almost eveything you need for a long stay. We highly recommend cedarwood Lodge.

The only small problem was the bath overflow pipe leaked. It was a small leak as noticed it quickly but could be a bigger issue if someone accidentally left the water running for a while. Otherwise the property was perfect.

It's a great house, very well designed, cozy and with all facilities. Beautiful views from the house.

Cedarwood is a self-contained apartment with a fully fitted kitchen for cooking. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The whole building was spotlessly clean and warm. It's situated close to pubs and restaurants.

We could not complain about anything.

The host was amazing and very accommodating in terms of checkin and checkout. The house was very neatly maintained and exceeded our expectations!!! Would definitely rate 11/10 😄

A few basics for cooking like herbs, milk, bread, oil, butter etc would be nice. As there are not a lot of local shops and the one close to property closes at 6pm, finding anything to cook is difficult.

It was perfect

We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful cabin in an even more beautiful location. The place was impeccably furnished and decorated, with brand new everything. Kitchen was well stocked and wasy to use, the bathroom was fancy and clean, and the beds soft and comfy with extra pillows given. The entire house, with the beautiful lake and mountain views, as well as the stars visible at night, just made for a stay straight out of a fairytale for us. The host lives nearby and popped in at a moment’s notice to help us turn up the heating, and was super friendly and kind. It has 2 king beds and a single, but if one were to count the couch it can easily house 6 people. Absolutely worth the price, 10000% recommend to anyone wanting an amazing countryside escape.

Nothing bad to say at all, it was perfect!

The bungalow was very well maintained and seemed to have been newly refurbished. Could fit 5 people comfortably and provided us with a great rest spot after days spent out in the Irish wilderness. Shop stocking basic supplies 5 mins walk away, next to the pub. If wanting more variety in supplies, the supermarket in Letterfrack is the nearest option (fine if you have a car - bit of a trek on bike)

We felt the 4pm check in and strict 11am checkout were slightly ungenerous.

The setting is stunning! The decor is beautiful, and the bedrooms are really comfortable. Very good self catering facilities and an amazing view of the fjord. There were were just some extremely minor details missed from the property: No wine opener to be had (all 4 of us checked the house) No blinds in the living room space (so felt a little bit like we were in a fishbowl. Otherwise amazing stay!
