Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Emplacement idéal si on recherche le calme et si l'on souhaite être baigné dans la nature du Connemara. C'était le cas pour nous 🙂 Lits confortables. Lave-linge et sèche-linge très pratiques. Frigo et congélateur très grands. En résumé, bons équipements (manque juste quelques ustensiles de cuisine type faitout, ...)
La pompe à eau était très bruyante, il faut éviter d'utiliser l'eau la nuit pour ne pas gêner les personnes qui dorment. Problème de câble sur la télé qui ne permettait pas une bonne réception des chaînes.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026La decoración de la casa la hacía muy acogedora, cuando llegamos había alguna lamparita encendida y la calefacción puesta. Fué muy agradable la llegada. Habitaciones un poco pequeñas pero con camas muy cómodas, la ducha con presión y temperatura correcta, la cocina muy bien equipada y la ubicación con vistas al lago de lejos y en plena natura.
En general nada destacable.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026L'emplacement est vraiment top, nous avons une très belle vue de la montagne tout autour. Nous sommes tout proche du centre. La petite maison est très bien équipée en plus du linge propre, gel douche et shampooing. En plus il y a une machine à laver et un sèche linge c’est super ! Nous avons passé 2 bonnes nuits, c'était très calme.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026Het uitzicht naar de voorkant en achterkant is prachtig. Het huis heeft een keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien.
De matrassen van de bedden zijn aan vervanging toe. Evenals de antenne aansluiting van de TV. Toilet begane grond was niet schoongemaakt. Het huis bestaat uit twee gedeeltes die beide verhuurd worden wat niet blijkt uit de omschrijving.

The only negative was one of the bedrooms is very small. Hard to find room for our suitcases.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Tolles Haus in ruhiger Sackgasse. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Ruhige Nachbarn. Geräumige Küche mit einem großen Kühl- & Gefrierschrank, Waschmaschine und Trockner. In den Ort sind es nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Dort gibt es tolle Pubs mit leckerem Essen.
Wir hatten sehr heißes Wasser zum Duschen und konnten dies auch nicht regulieren.

Reviewed May 15, 2026A casa fica muito perto do lago, numa zona muita tranquila, excelente para relaxar. Chegamos num dia frio e foi muito agradavel entrar e ter casa aquecida. Dispõe de uma cozinha bem apetrechado o que nos permitiu confeccionar o jantar com qualidade e comer com tranquilidade. As camas são excelentes e proporcianaram o merecido descanso.

Reviewed May 13, 2026Well maintained and clean property very well located with a beautiful river and mountain view. Fully furnished with good cooking facilities. Would definitely recommend the place to others.
I check in time was 4.00 pm it should have been like other places at 2.00 pm and check out was by 11.00 am sharp. Since the roof is sloping you have to be careful of your head.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2025Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung! Alles da, was man braucht, sehr sauber und viel Platz. Super Küche, wären wir nicht mit Fahrrad gekommen, hätten wir hier sicherlich auf dem Gasherd mit 5 Flammen ein fulminantes Mahl zubereiten können. Wäre auch für vier Personen problemlos gegangen. Ein Platz um länger zu bleiben. Check in hat gut funktioniert, einfache Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber.
Leider haben wir den Gastgeber nicht persönlich angetroffen.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2025Nous avons adoré la vue depuis le salon : apercevoir (ou pas ) la montagne sur la rive opposée était la surprise du matin ! Cette petite maison est très bien pour une famille de quatre.
Arriver à la maison n'est pas facile : il faut prendre le parking de l'hotel du même nom et prendre le petit chemin qui monte à gauche.

Reviewed Jul 28, 2025Literie et équipement au top! On s’est reposé comme jamais, face au fjord d’un côté et à la colline de l’autre. Excellent choix pour rayonner, se balader. De la nous sommes allés à Clifden, Sky road, Westport (très jolie ville), Roundstone et plein de petites localités perdues sans oublier l’abbaye de Kilmore, a 15 mn en voiture. 3 nuits parfaites et reposantes pour explorer le Connemara en plein cœur du parc.

Reviewed Apr 22, 2025The host was excellent and kept in regular contact, and always responded really quickly. we had no problems at all. The house is in a great location just at the back of the Leenane Hotel. It has a huge fridge and nice kitchen / living area. The heating was on and the house felt cosy and warm, plenty of hot water for showers. The house was very clean and well presented and is as per the photos. Washing machine and tumble dryer in the house, very convenient if you are walking, hiking or swimming.
we were just 1 couple, using 1 bedroom but if there is more (ie: 2 couples or 2 adults and 2 children) the 2nd bathroom is down stairs, there is no storage in the 2nd bedroom; for a short stay this would not be a problem, or for children as there is adequate storage in the main bedroom. you really need to be using the 2nd room for the house to be good value.

Washing machine, dryer, microwave, large fridge with freezer. Suitable for long or short term. Close to Leenane main street for pub food.

Small & very compact. Upstairs bedrooms provided a height issue because of sloping ceilings. Frequently hitting head off ceiling in order to access bedside lamps & bedside tables. Unable to sit up in beds because of this.Also my husband ( 6 foot 4 inches) was unable to stand upright because of the sloping ceiling in upstairs shower room. Second bedroom had no storage or hanging room for clothes. We had to re arrange the bedroom furniture in order to fit our suitcase in to the room. Areas of house unfinished. Bedroom windows directly overlooked the bedrooms in the adjoining property so providing a privacy issue when both properties were occupied at the same time. The property felt quite claustrophobic for four adults. Only enough cutlery for four adults, no extra for serving. No ice trays in freezer. No bottle opener. No wooden spoons for cooking.
