We had a problem of finding the location and the GPS does not show the location but with the instructions given it was Prity good to locate in daylight. Missing was a cook range, but we did not need it as we had dinner outside.

Reach the place can be difficult, but once there It IS worthy. A pity arriving after sunset that day, but wonderful waking up watching the sea from the bed.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la situation de la maison face à la mer, ainsi que son aménagement raffiné et de bon goût. Nous avons aussi aimé la plateforme avec vue plongeante sur la mer pour des moments de relaxation et de reconnexion avec la nature.
Rien, sauf peut être l'équipement un peu spartiate de la cuisine. Appareil de cuisson malcommode, manque de casseroles...mais selon les cas, ce ne peut être qu'un détail! Le reste est parfait!

Reviewed Nov 21, 2025After an afternoon trek down to Tunnel beach and back, I was exhausted and in need of a soak in the bath. My eyes nearly popped out of my head upon entering the property, the bathroom was exquisite. In fact the whole property was. Lovely views. Modern, clean, spacious, plush carpet (apart from both bathrooms), super comfy beds. Wish we had booked more than one night now. I will recomend this property to family and friends.

Reviewed Nov 16, 2025The location is excellent as the unit is on a clifftop and is facing the sea. The house is spakling clean ans we like the big big washroom and the rooms are big. The host provides us with an Ipad to turn on the TV and speakers, unfortunately we did not use it.
Please provide a Bigger rubbish bin and trash bag.

It is secluded and away from the restaurants etc - one needs a car to get around. However, for me it was absolutely fine - it was a haven of peace. From my perspective there was nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

Having two bathrooms for our family of four was a real treat. The instructions from the owners for finding the property are clear and easy to follow - just go slow and you'll follow the path just fine! The hidden gem is the deck! What a spectacular view and treasure to have. Thanks heaps to Rachel and Richard 😊

Nothing we didn’t like but as mentioned there was only a microwave to cook with. Maybe an air frier or electric frypan would be useful for those who don’t use restaurants and want to cook something for dinner. However we made our meal work using the microwave.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2024"I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Dunedin. The house is spacious, super clean, and has amazing facilities. The view is stunning! During our stay, my mom accidentally broke the coffee plunger, and they quickly provided a replacement so we could still enjoy our coffee. They even refused to accept a replacement from us. Richard and Rachel were incredibly caring and attentive throughout our stay."
