Aquest allotjament és excepcional. Ens hi vam allotjar una amiga i jo i no volíem sortir d’aquest preciós palau!!! Va ser una estada magnífica que recordarem sempre. Els espais estan molt ben decorats, l’edifici és preciós, els gatets son una monada i el personal és simpatiquíssim!! Vam sopar-hi una nit i el menjar va ser boníssim. L’esmorzar també és molt bo. Sense dubte repetirem. No us preocupeu per la ubicació, la zona és segura i quan t’aprens el camí, és fàcil arribar fins a la zona més cèntrica. No parem de recomanar aquest palau! Gràcies per tot!

Beautiful Riad within Medina, clean, well equipped rooms and staff were incredibly polite and helpful. We had the two bed apartment and it was fantastic for two adults and three kids who all had their own single bed and there was a separate shower room in addition to a lovely huge main bathroom. Pool was peaceful and there were lots of sunny and shady spots to rest and relax in around the pool, on the roof terrace and throughout the Riad.

Inflexible owners who refused to change, postpone or cancel our booking when we needed to, due to ill health of one of our party. All other venues in our round-Morocco trip were, in contrast, flexible and helpful. In the end we made changes to treatment so we could make the trip and on the ground, could not fault the lovely venue or fantastic house staff. However, the way we were dealt with left a sour taste. Be careful of the fine print when booking this Riad and for bookings on booking.com generally.

17th century riad with so much charm. Just a beautiful place and the staff are super kind and nice. The breakfast is delicious and the pool is perfect. We loved every minute. Has to be one of the best deals in town. Also very close to a gate so you can catch an Uber or taxi and walk 2 min to get to the hotel..

Riad très agréable, avec un personnel adorable. Merci pour le surclassement spontané qui fera des 25ans de ma fille un très beau souvenir. Le quartier est certes à 20min de la place mais il permet de vivre au rythme authentique de cette ville magnifique.

The riad itself was beautiful, with a lovely traditional design and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and appreciated the authentic feel of the place.

The location was not ideal. Google Maps does not show the exact entrance, and since the riad's door is hidden like many others in the medina, it was quite difficult to find, especially for first-time visitors. Our room was a bit dark, noise from the garden carried into the room, and the bathroom windows felt like they lacked privacy.

Breakfast generally great, and this is a very minor thing, but one morning coffee was lukewarm and we weren't offered the usual fruit. Would have been nice to be offered a choice of drink rather than being given coffee

Me encantó este Riad y sus instalaciones. Muy acogedor, aunque un poquito apartado de las principales atracciones de la Medina.

El desayuno fue saludable y en pequeñas porciones. Sin embargo, en otros riads he tenido desayunos más deliciosos.

Det må være et af de smukkeste steder jeg nogensinde har overnattet. Jeg var overvældet af stedets magiske omgivelser. Al personale gjorde sig umage for at give os et dejligt ophold. Vi syntes det var en oplevelse at stedet lå lidt væk fra turismen, så vi fik set Marrakesh på en anden måde. Det var intet problem for os eller vores mindre børn at gå de 20 min til de mere turistede steder. Poolen var overraskende stor og meget ren. Vi boede i familieværelset som var stort, smukt og meget rent.

Lugten af katte ved køkkenet er lidt uhygiejnisk, men jeg er også meget sart hvad dyr og køkken angår.

Loved our Riad. Really different and cool.so chilled, and relaxing. The staff are so lovely, Abdel in particular looked after us so well. We actually lived the fact that nearby was real day to day living, not touristy.

A little bit away from. The main sights in the medina, but we were glad to get out of all the bustle.

A magical, rambling oasis, filled with charm and light. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, our host, Pascal, friendly and efficient. The building has hidden staircases leading to unexpected sunbathing terraces and a huge and beautiful roof top with cushioned seating areas and views across the rooftops of the Medina. There is a refreshing pool in the lower ground area, perfect for the end of a long and dusty day of walking through the souk. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit & yoghurt with a choice of breads and homemade jams, and optional egg dishes. There is lunch and supper offered, both very good and generous local dishes.

There was a little building work going on next door to the bedroom that started a bit early for my taste, but I understand that there will soon be additional rooms in this lovely riad so it seemed a small inconvenience.

Staff were so helpful and welcoming. The riad was just gorgeous- we loved the roof terrace which had different levels and areas to explore and meant that you could always find a sunny sheltered spot- because it was large and on different levels- it felt very private.

Det er en ægte eventyr Riad. Fra gaden er der blot en lille port, og så træder du ind i et mindre palads som er smukt indrettet og fyldt med detaljer og oplevelser. Her er stille og fuglene synger. Haven og terrasserne er dejlige og der er mange små kroge. Vores lejlighed var rummeligt og behagelig, fantastisk baderum. Personalet er venligt og hjælpsomt. Morgenmaden er “klassisk” marrokansk.

Der er en lidt længere gåtur ind til souks og restauranter, hvor man ikke har lyst at gå i mørke, da gaderne kan være lidt svære at finde rundt i. Og så galer hanerne i nabolaget tidligt, men man må tage det som en del af charmen :-)

Our room was located in the courtyard. I really enjoyed hearing the sounds of the city, the children playing and the general hustle and bustle gave it an authentic feel. However, after arriving from a long journey, all I wanted to do was rest, but music was being played in the middle of the day. This continued throughout my stay, with music starting early in the morning around 8:30am and going on until 10–11am. It was also played in the evenings until around 9–9:30pm. After coming back from a tiring hike, I was hoping to relax, but instead I could hear the constant thumping of music. A friend of mine stayed at a different riad and described waking up to the sound of birds, which sounded much more peaceful. In contrast, I was waking up to a Moroccan rendition of Ed Sheeran—amusing at first, but not ideal when you’re looking for rest. The riad’s bio mentions a warm welcome with tea. On arrival, we were shown a map and taken upstairs for a tour, but we weren’t offered any tea. Later that evening, I mentioned this and asked if we could try some. The staff kindly brought us tea, but we were then charged for it, and I was told that we had already been offered tea on arrival, which wasn’t the case. Breakfast was okay, consisting of four types of bread and pancakes, and you can request eggs if you want some protein. One thing to note is that the riad does not provide complimentary bottled water beyond two small bottles on arrival—these are charged at around €4 each, so I’d recommend stocking up elsewhere. That said, the riad itself is beautiful, and contrary to some reviews, the location is great. It’s easy to access and navigate. After a couple of days, we were able to walk back from the main square in about 20 minutes without using maps. It also gives you a chance to experience a different side of Marrakech, and it’s conveniently located near a gate, making it easy to meet guides for tours.

It was just perfect! A Moroccan dream! Will certainly come again. I’m so pleased I stayed 3 nights, anything less would have been a tease!

The overall vibe is amazing - peaceful and magical. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Didn't want to leave! Location is also great for hauling luggage as you are very close to the city gate.

Getting there a little intimidating at first

Vriendelijke ontvangst, uitgebreid ontbijt en verzorgd diner. Massage héél professioneel. Excursies worden ter plaatse geregeld, je wordt aan de Riad opgehaald en terug afgezet. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeer ruime Riad met grote "top roof" en mooi zwembad. Het is er zeer rustig en kalm.

Ce n’étais pas ma première fois à Marrakech et pour le coup j’ai découvert une nouvelle adresse confortable. Nous sommes arriver au Riad tôt le matin et nous avions été chaleureusement accueilli par le personnel ainsi que Pascale le propriétaire des lieux, on nous a servis un petit déjeuner d’accueil qui nous directement mis dans le bain, nous avions une chambre confortable avec petite terrasse plongeante sur la petite piscine qui rend bien service pour se rafraîchir après une balade dans les souck. Un endroit où règne histoire culture architecture Art, un personnel discret et serviable un Riad où nous pouvons avoir un peu d’intimité car il et vaste encore une belle adresse en poche que je n’hésiterais pas à recommander à mon entourage. Pascale je reviendrais, Merci.

Rien de spécifique à déclarer il est vrais que le Riad et un peu éloigné de la grande place, mais bon il est justement facile d’attraper un taxi à la porte de Bab Aylan sur la route des rapport qui est pour le coup à deux pas du Riad. Et je trouve qu’il est intéressant de découvrir le Maroc hors lieux touristique donc marcher dans différent quartier du souk c’est vraiment découvrir Marrakech.

Excelente hotel. Decoracion exquisita, y un oasis de tranquilidad. Buen desayuno, tradicional de marruecos.

Todo me gustó, pero es importante saber que la ubicacion está en el limite de la medina, donde la gente local vive, y que para ir a las zonas turisticas hay que andar unos 15 minutos a través de calles de actividad local, que por la noche pueden no estar muy iluminadas.

Le Riad est magnifique et authentique! L’accueil de Pascal qui a pris le temps de bien nous guider pour notre séjour à Marrakech. Sofiane et Marwan se sont occupés de nous tous notre séjour à la perfection. La chambre est spacieuse , confortable et nettoyé tous les jours ce qui est vraiment agréable. Pour finir , la cuisine était délicieuse , nous ne sommes presque pas sorti à l’extérieur tellement c’était bon. Petit déjeuner bon et copieux. Rien à dire je recommande fortement ce Riad pour les couples , famille ou amis qui veulent visiter Marrakech, se détendre dans un endroit calme et apaisant. Merci encore à toute l’équipe

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil de Pascal qui nous a fait découvrir son Riad, grand et magnifiquement décoré, la gentillesse de Marouane et Sofiane qui nous ont prodigué des conseils, tous les deux ont été très serviables. Nous avons dégusté la tajine berbère de Latifa et chaque matin on nous a servi un petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux.

Un seul bémol : nous avons été un peu gênés par le manque de lumière naturelle (compensée par de jolies lampes électriques). La lumière tamisée ne convient sans doute plus à nos yeux vieillissants.

The shower! A trickle! No door. When using the lower nozzle it could easily overshoot: wetted my clothes and towel. I appreciate Marrakesh is ‘old’ and water deprived, but there was a combi heater in the bathroom, which usually equates with good power.

One of those amazingly special places that you straight away feel relaxed in. The staff are gloriously kind and helpful, room wonderful and food excellent. We stayed in a suite as family four and there was ample room. Beautiful rooftop garden and equally relaxing multiple seating areas indoors. Perfect location to explore the medina then escape the madness for the calm in this Riad.

Charming Riad at a not so touristic part of the Medina, more where the locals live. Beautiful decor with many interesting and cozy areas.Books,art pieces, fireplace, board games… Every little corner is enchanted and welcoming. The suite was really comfortable and well decorated. We had four fantastic nights in a really god bed. That is very important to me. Comfortable bed. Quiet nights. Peaceful and safe area. The super friendly staff was always ready to help making you feel at home. I will definitely stay again at Dar CHIBANIA. Lovely stay.

Location. For me was okay but for my boyfriend that doesn’t like to walk for so long and like to be close to the main attractions and restaurants , the location is not ideal. More than 30 minutes walk. But easily you can get a cab really close to the entry of the Medina.

Ein wunderschönes Riad mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet einfach Traumhaft. Die Gastgeber sowie das Personal waren freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt. Eine ware Oase der Ruhe.

Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Lage, etwas abseits. Aber Tuk-Tuks und Taxis sind in nächster Nähe.

Das einzige was für uns als Familie mit drei Kindern (10, 8 und 2) nicht ideal war, ist die Lage. Um zu den Souks oder dem Djemaa El Fnaa zu gelangen, ist es ein längerer Spaziergang. Als Erwachsener kein Problem. Mit Kindern aber eher mühsam. Das Hotel hat aber super Tok Tok-Fahrer an der Hand, die uns überall schnell und problemlos hingefahren haben.

The property is magical! So many quiet corners to chill out, the decor is wonderful and the heated pool in a beautiful shady courtyard is a fabulous place to swim and unwind! The staff treated us like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is large and delicious. We really enjoyed the home made yogurt and the different types of breads and pancakes! The quality of the linens are exceptional. The bath towels are so thick and fluffy. They also provided us with robes. Taxis and tuk tuks to get out and about were easy to find and not expensive.

En un mot : Splendide !! Magnifique Riad, superbe déco, ambiance calme au milieu du tumulte de la Médina. La chambre est spacieuse, confortable et d'une propreté irréprochable. Personnel à votre service, un grand merci à Marwan pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, merci à Pascal et Isabelle pour leur accueil et leur flexibilité.

Emplacement un peu loin du cœur de la Médina.

the whole place was magical. the staff were lovely and spoke english. the pool was large compared to other places we saw, and we had it to ourselves. the decor was amazing. the location, well, we had to walk around 15 minutes to get to any good restuarants or the markets. this was the only down side to the whole experience, especially because we were there when it was 45 degrees outside.

just the location in relation to the very touristy area. we were in a local area, with not many other tourists around.

A truly beautiful Riad, away from the hustle and bustle of the Marrakech streets. This place is a stunning oasis with cosy areas to curl up with a book and well porportioned suites. The small pool is excellent for a refreshing dip and the breakfast was very satisfying. A wonderful introduction to Morroco for our family. Mr partner also had an excellent massage whilst we were there.

The beds are very firm, but after stopping at a few other places I just think thats how beds are here!

The property itself is just as shown in pictures. Really aesthetically pleasing and very instagramable, very kind staff that are willing to go down to the market for you upon request.

The location of the property could not be any worse. My inDrive driver who was born and bred in marrakech said to me that he genuinely have never seen that area before in his life (total slum). It smelled bad, was a bit loud outside, was woken up by literal chicken noise. and the streets outside weren’t really clean. And I also hated how I had to go hunt for staff. There’s no proper reception area or concierge desk. Still, the staff themselves were very nice, this is a management issue. Also if you thought you were supporting a local Moroccan business, you are not. This riad is not locally owned. Might as well stay at the four seasons.

An amazing property! Authentic and tranquil. A haven that awaits you amongst the business of the city! The staff are so friendly and attentive.

Quiet in the oldest section of the Medina. It felt quite local. The property is huge with many many thoughtfully layed out spaces for relaxing, reading, painting, wine & food. The food was great. Service was lovely & excellent. The staff could not have been better. So friendly and kind. Smiles every where. Chess games, books galore. I’d live there if I wanted to live in Marrakesh. Great place away from the bustle but plenty close to everything you might want to see. You could get classic Moroccan food for a decent price or just a plain tuna sandwich. Everything was done with care. Our room was spacious and interesting in every way. Loved all the levels, pool & plants and birds. Just everything was wonderful.
