Todo el alojamiento es encantador, desde las cabañas, el entorno, donde está la piscina (entre vegetación y animales) hasta el personal que lo lleva. Los chicos son super simpáticos y amables. Cena y desayuno muy ricos

Die Unterkunft war fußläufig zu einen der beliebtesten Strände in der Gegend. Außerdem hatte die Unterkunft dort Liegen, die im Preis der Unterkunft mit inbegriffen waren. Wir durften außerdem unser Frühstück etwas umgestalten ohne Aufpreis. Eigentlich hätten wir Toast, Butter, Eier und so bekommen. Es wurde aber auf Nachfrage von uns morgens Schokopfannekuchen mit Früchten serviert. :) Der Bruder des Besitzer war super freundlich und wir mochten ihn wirklich sehr gerne. Er hat sich während unseres Aufenthaltes um alles gekümmert. Man konnte sich sehr nett mit ihm unterhalten, angenehmer Typ.

Leider gab es im Bad einige Insekten (Spinnen und Ameisen), einmal war auch ein Gecko im Bad. Es wurde sich aber wirklich sehr bemüht die Tier aus unserem Bad zu entfernen. Falls man ein Problem mit Hunden hat, sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass in der Unterkunft einige Hunde leben. Diese waren aber wirklich sehr lieb und haben einen auf dem Weg zum Strand sogar begleitet.

Lo único a mejorar es el wifi

The cottage is nice and spacious and clean, with a large porch where you can relax. There’s a large pool in a lush garden. The beach is a 2-minute walk away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The homemade pizzas from the wood-fired oven are delicious. What a lovely place to stay for a few days.

The shower flow should be improved.

Cercanía a la playa y a la carretera también. Nos ofrecieron uso gratuito de tumbona y tabla de body board. El chico que nos atendió fue fue amable y servicial.

A la hora de pagar en efectivo nos dijeron que no tenían cambio. El pago con tarjeta conllevaba un cargo adicional del 3%. Durante el desayuno tres perros estaban literalmente pegados a nuestras piernas y solicitamos que los echaran del área de comedor pero el camarero dijo que no tenía manera de echarlos porque en otras ocasiones se habían puesto agresivos con él, y que no pertenecían al hotel. Considero es necesario poner remedio urgente a esa situación.

De locatie bij goyambokka beach is top!!

Niet wat het lijkt. Slecht onderhouden. Alles is stuk of werkt zeer slecht. Overal rommel en planten snoeien kennen ze hier niet. Je betaald best veel voor zo’n slecht hotel. Zwembad is ook in zeer slechte staat en heel smerig, bedjes zijn stuk en goor, afwatering en roosters zijn stuk, zwembad vol troep en insecten. Ook het meubilair op balkon is stuk en heel vies, huisje oud en stuk, airco maakt een hoop herrie. Honden slapen op het meubilair buiten op balkon omdat het het hek niet kan afsluiten. mijn zoon zat daar onbewust eerste dag op met blote rug en zat daarna vol met uitslag op zijn rug. Kan niet 100% zekerheid zeggen dat het daar door komt maar uitsluiten doe ik zeker niet. Douche werkt nauwelijks en wifi ook niet best. Dag 1 wordt je “groots” onthaald en moet je meteen betalen. Daarna rent iedereen weg behalve 2 jonge binken die geen Engels spreken. We zitten via Booking.com dus snap ik dat je aan een betaling vast zit. Maar als je dan klachten hebt omdat het zwembad vies is of douche niet werkt, zijn ze slecht of niet bereikbaar. Uiteindelijk de baas gesproken maar die heeft haar geld al en weigert alles. We zijn een dag eerder weg gegaan omdat ik mijn vakantie hierdoor niet wil verpesten. Dan maar 65 euro verlies. Ineens bij vertrek is de manager er weer. Manager heeft een hoop excuses maar klopt gewoon weg niet wat hij zegt. Ze worden onderbetaald zegt hij. Zou kunnen weet ik niet maar een beetje uit fatsoen helpen of bij klachten je gezicht laten zien en oplossen is er hier niet bij. Pas als je weg gaat zijn ze ineens zielig. Ik ben geen slechte fooi gever maar laat zien dat je het verdiend. Daar is hier in de verste verte geen sprake van. Ze zitten de hele dag op hun telefoon. Onze ervaring was niet best. Advies: Ga niet naar dit hotel maar die er pal naast ligt genaamd Goyambokka guesthouse. Die geeft aandacht aan zijn resort. Als alles opgeruimd en opgeknapt is zou dit resort denk ik een mooi verblijf kunnen zijn. Maar nu niet.

Ubytování zasazeno v krásné zahradě, v blízkosti pláže, hezký bazén.

Pri příjezdu nám manažer tvrdil že se nelze ubytovat, že má plno, údajně i přes Booking. A posílal nás do ubytování vedle. Nakonec po diskuzi nás ubytovali a my zjistili, že jsme tam jen my a ještě jedna dvojice. Asi se jim nechtělo pracovat. Velké zklamání z takového přístupu.

Fabulous, friendly staff. Great location near beach and we enjoyed 2 great meals at Yellow Mellow where we also had free use of the bodyboards. Breakfast was fine. The gardens are beautiful. We all enjoyed the lovely pool.

The only shade by the pool was directly under some very ripe looking coconuts which wasn’t very relaxing! The room was quite dark as there was no proper window, the bathroom needs a bit of an update and the room had a window pane missing which wasn’t great for bugs or efficient air con.

Chambre plutôt propre, piscine agréable et situation géographique idéale à 5 minutes à pied de la très belle plage de goyambokka. Nous avons mis un 10, par rapport à l emplacement et à l acceuil de Manoj, gros gros plus !! Toujours serviable et présent, nous avons passé grâce à lui des moments mémorables 😄. Le reste du staff, n est pas très efficace....

L équipement de la salle de bain est très léger...obligé de demander du papier toilette, des serviettes.. la préparation du bungalow a été faite à la va vite !! Autre chose, si vous n êtes pas à l aise avec les chiens, évitez cet établissement... il y en a beaucoup. Pour nous cela a été un gros plus, 👍nous avions 5/6 chiens qui nous accompagnaient partout 😄

A quelques minutes à pied de Goyambokka beach, super belle plage calme, le monsieur qui nous a accueilli était tres gentil et souriant.

Pas tres propre, materiel assez vieux, piscine sale et pas nettoyée correctement. L'hotel de ne vaut pas le coup à part pour l'accès à la plage.

The place is great, the young lad working there and pretty much running the whole joint is fantastic! He has such a great energy and enthusiasm and helped us wherever he could, he also made a delicious breakfast. The room was basic and could do with some updating and the aircon was leaking but other than that our stay was great. It’s a couple of minutes walk to a very nice beach.

Great location, super close to the beach, really lovely gardens and pool, and the staff were exceptional at sourcing anything you needed eg scooters/tuk tuks. We loved our stay and the hosts made it truly special.

La proximité des plages, les nombreux animaux, les extérieurs. Un grand merci tout particulier à hansaka pour sa gentillesse quotidienne et sa bienveillance avec notre fils. Une personne avec un grand coeur.

La piscine meriterait un petit rafraichissement.

Schöner, tropischer Garten mit viel Bougainvillea, Hibiskus und Palmen. Ein Zufluchtsort für Tiere: Pfauen, Warane, Eisvögel, Streifenhörnchen und Affen. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, jedoch ziemlich unbeholfen. Pool ist groß und relativ sauber. Nähe zum Strand – fünf Minuten zu Fuß.

Der Zustand des Hotels wirkt verwahrlost. Sauberkeit und Ordnung entsprechen nicht dem Erwartungsniveau für eine dieser Preisklasse. Zimmer: Vernachlässigte Zimmer, Möbel abgenutzt, Staub- und Schmutzbereiche sichtbar. Reinigung ungründlich, Badflächen nicht zuverlässig sauber. Balkongelände kaputt oder wackelig. Die Klimaanlage war unberechenbar – mal kalt, mal warm., Die Fernsteuerung holprig. Reinigung: Regelmäßige Reinigung mangelhaft, Müllentsorgung und Auffüllung von Hygieneartikeln unzuverlässig. Personal/Service: Personal wirkt teilweise unbeholfen oder unkoordiniert, jedoch freundlich. Gemeinschaftsbereiche: Fußwege und Eingangsbereiche weisen Abfall oder Unrat auf. Außenanlagen wirken ungepflegt, wodurch der Gesamteindruck leidet. Die Liegen am Pool sind alt und wackelig, Die Matratzen angeknabbert Frühstück: Einseitig - immer Obst, Eier und Toast, nie was anderes. Gesamteindruck: Verwahrlosung sorgt für enttäuschenden Gesamteindruck, besonders in Bezug auf Hygiene, Ordnung und Service.

Krásné prostředí a hezká pláž jen 2 minuty od ubytování

Vybavení na ubytování. Objednali jsme si domek s kuchyní. Byla tam pouze jedna pánvička, 2 talíře, 2 vidličky, plesnivá a smradlavá lednice a 1 zásuvka na 3 spotřebiče. ( lednice, ploténka, konvice). Podlaha ulepená, špinavá a hrozný zápach.

Great location very close to nice beaches, really kind stuff always ready to help, cute dogs around and beautiful garden in resort.

We booked a deluxe room, that had no glass in the windows, only shades so be prepared for it. The room was not clean at all. Bathroom with completely dirty wash basin, mosquito net covered in a dust. Many things were broken. We told the hosts that we are not happy with the room and want to shorten our stay - the manager didnt allow us the shortening so they gave us a better room. It was for sure better but the bathroom was still not clean as I would expect in accomodation with this price. It could be very nice place, it has potential but need complete reconstruction and definitely more care.

We really enjoyed our stay. What we appreciated most about the accommodation was its location and the close contact with nature. It felt very peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds, which made the atmosphere truly special. The staff were also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant.

De mensen die er werkten. Met name Hansa deed zijn werk meer dan uitstekend, maar ook de anderen waren bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam.

Schöne Anlage, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gute Nähe zum Strand.

Tout. Emplacement à 2 pas de la plage. Plages très sympa, peu touristique avec petites vagues mais les jeunes enfants se sont très bien amusés. Nourriture excellente. Au calme. Literie et chambres impeccables. Personnel incroyable (merci à eux pour ces très bons moments de franches rigolades et leurs services sans faille).

Le lit et proche de la mer. Le serveur faisait son maximum mais comment gérer seul un tel établissement ?

Accueil pas de service de bagages. Piscine cassée et contours de piscines casses. Planches de bois et déchets derrière la piscine. Service trop long. 2h pour 8 pizzas 🍕 et 1 h pour le petit déjeuner car pas de personnel. Espaces verts négligés. Accès aux chambres détériorés. Chambres sales, traces de dentifrices sur le lavabos, pas de bouilloire, …..

Chouette hôtel ! Le personnel était très accueillant et gentil, toujours le sourire et très serviable également. Joli jardin entretenu, et la piscine était très agréable. C'était propre et calme.

Malgré le cadre sympa, le rapport qualité/prix nous a semblé un peu décevant, surtout au niveau de la chambre. En comparaison à d'autres établissements dans lesquels non avons séjourné, nous aurions aimé trouver un peu plus de soin au niveau des équipements dans la chambre. Il ne manque pas grand chose pour être vraiment top !

Für ein "Retreat" sehr ärgerlich: es gibt keine Nachtruheregeln bzw. niemand kümmert sich um Störenfriede. Zu viele Hunde (5) im Restaurant. Keinerlei Problembewusstsein beim Personal. Küche sehr mässig. Bad in Cabana schlecht ausgestattet. Mässige Sauberkeit. WLAN schwach.

Great staff, next to a lovely beach. Booked two rooms - one was great, other the fridge was broken and ac not that cold. Hotel was full and able to move rooms after a couple nights. Pool lovely, peacocks in the grounds, beach entrance literally next door.

A little paradise hidden in a juicy jungle 🖤 with the coolest staff ever, tasty food, cute doggies, peacocks and langurs.. Cozy, clean, quiet, in a short distance to the best beaches in the area. Can't wait to be back!

La struttura in generale molto piacevole anche se vecchiotta il letto comodo e la presenza di alcuni pavoni che con il loro verso rallegravano ancor più le giornate .Spiaggia rilassante.

La totale assenza di una figura femminile nello staff e questo ne risente molto nella gestione e nella pulizia soprattutto della struttura . Servizio molto lento e mancanza di prodotti da bagno nella stanza.

The pool wasn't clean. We had chosen the hotel for the pool as we were travelling in August and knew the sea might be too rough swim in.

Increíble place. Muy bien cuidado, el entorno es idílico (naturaleza, vegetación, palmeras) y la piscina muy bien. Nos recibieron con bebida de bienvenida y el desayuno estaba muy bueno. El personal muy amable En todo momento, increíbles chicos. Nos consiguieron una moto (3000rs. Era de uno de ellos diría hahha) para poder explorar la zona (1000% recomendable la moto para poder descubrir y poder moverte, básico diría). Está a un minuto de la playa de goyyamboca (destartalada pero con taaanto encanto y nada turística, la diafrutamos mucho).

Very nice garden, lovely chilling place with a good location-close to Tangalle (you can take a cheap tuk tuk) but very quite. Just 15min walking to beautiful Silence beach.

Nice bungalow, but very dark inside. We got better bungalows for the same money when travelling trough Sri Lanka.

tolle Anlage - der große Garten ist wunderschön und man kann sehr viele Tiere beobachten. Betten und Ausstattung war in Ordnung. In nur 3-4 Gehminuten ist man am Strand und das Abendessen im Restaurant war ebenfall super.

Wartezeiten beim Frühstück und Abendessen teils sehr lange, einiges könnte renoviert werden und etwas sauberer sein.

- the cleanliness: our bedsheets had stains, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned and the sun beds by the pool were just dirty - there is neither wifi nor cellular signal in the rooms - there was no hot water when we arrived (that was fixed later) - in reality, there is just one (very kind) guy who handles check-in, carrying bags, renovation, maintenance and taking orders in the restaurant which in result makes everything take a long time

Good accomodation, nearby beautiful beach . Staff was so nice ! They have great swimmimg pool and good food :) I recommend this place with my friends :)

Dirty air-conditioner

The front of house staff member is excellent. The breakfast was yummy. The proximity to the beach was good.

We had a family room with two double beds which was severely overpriced. The property is very worn and dirty. Even though we arrived an hour and a half after the allowed check in time we still had to wait two hours before we were able to enter our room.

Лучшее место на Шри-Ланке. Никакой суеты, нет толп, чистые пляжи на любой вкус. Все что нужно - главное спросить. Приветливый персонал.

La verdure, et l'établissement est situé juste à côté de la plage de Goyambokka. On peut y aller à pied en 2min.

La piscine n'est pas entretenu, elle est sale, les coussins des transats sont mangés par les chiens et sont très sales. La cuisine au restaurant est bonne mais le temps d'attente est tellement interminable que ça gâche le repas. Chaque matin, à 8h au petit déjeuner pour être servi vers 9h15. Le séjour n'est pas du tout adapté aux familles. Nous sommes restés 5 nuits, un matin le petit déjeuner a duré 2heures. Le personnel est très gentil mais il n'y a malheureusement aucune organisation. La salle de bain mérite vraiment un gros rafraîchissement, et les chambres ne sont pas nettoyé correctement. Bref, fuyez

The hotel is beautifully located, close to two beaches, which is definitely a plus. However, the price is not really justified by the quality. The rooms are quite average, and the bathroom is below standard. The garden is rather neglected, and the pool is in a similar condition. The property clearly needs some renovation. On the positive side, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Convenient for the beach. An abundance of peacocks in the grounds. Simple, private raised bungalows.

Wirklich nah am Strand und die Anlage hat Potential.

Alles andere. Es wirkt schmuddelig und ungepflegt. Mehrere Kakerlaken, Wasserdruck gab es nicht, duschen unmöglich. Pool dreckig. Moskitonetz voller Löcher. Das Personal immer lächelnd, aber mit allem überfordert. Essen zu bekommen dauerte eine Stunde, sowohl abends als auch morgens. Es ist nichts organisiert, was den Jungs dort die Abläufe erleichtern würde. Zum Schluss wurde unserem Tuk Tuk Fahrer, trotz mehrmaliger Absprache, ein falscher Zielort übermittelt und es endete für uns nicht schön.

Rooms were not very clean, particularly the bathroom. We asked for a room clean and change of sheets & towels on day 5. The bed had been re made with the same sheets, dirty towels left on the bathroom floor and the bathroom most definitely was not cleaned. My daughter’s shower was very cold for her entire stay so she had to come and use ours. Food service was very slow at times.

Lite nedgånget

Een heerlijke plek met mooie huisjes (mooier dan op de foto’s)! Hanze en zijn collega’s waren super aardig en hebben er alles aan gedaan om het ons naar de zin te maken. Op nog geen 2 minuten lopen van het strand, waar het hotel ze ook een restaurant met ligbedden heeft. Je mag er gratis bodyboards gebruiken.

De badkamer en het zwembad kunnen wel een kleine onderhoudsbeurt gebruiken, maar het heeft ons verblijf er niet minder fijn op gemaakt.

De ligging vlabij het prachtige Goyambokka strand. De vriendelijkheid en enorme hulpvaardigheid van het team.

De kamer en badkamer zijn nodig aan een opfris- reparatiebeurt toe. Rondom het zwembad zag het er ook ietwat haveloos uit. Hetzelfde geldt voor de ligbedden en matrassen.

We had an amazing experience at Goyambokka Beach Retreat! The location is brilliant, offering a unique mix of jungle living among wild animals like squirrels, monkeys, peacocks, and even the dogs we became friends with, while still being just a 3-minute scenic jungle path away from Goyambokka Beach. At the beach, you are well taken care of with sun chairs and drinks at Yellow Mellow, and for food we especially recommend the chicken roti (!!!) A special thanks goes to the hardworking staff who went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, and special thanks to Hansaka for the great stories! All the best to the hotel and its wonderful staff 😊

Hotel bardzo sympatyczny. Blisko pięknej plaży, a zarazem w ogrodzie cisza i spokój. Bardzo smaczne jedzenie w restauracji. Ekipa chłopaków pracujących w hotelu i kuchni bardzo sympatyczna i wesoła. Jesteśmy zadowoleni.

Jedyny minus to brak czajnika który mógłby się przydać.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit Pool. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Man hatte eine kleine Terrasse. Klimaanlage vorhanden. Kurzer Weg zu einem sehr schönen Strand. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Leider konnte die Tür zum Badezimmer nicht verschlossen werden. Frühstück war spartanisch (Toast, Marmelade, Butter, eine Eierspeise und Früchte).

Location was excellent, just a couple of minutes walk from Goyambokka Beach. Has a wonderful big clean swimming pool. Our breakfast was included and it was great. Staff were very nice and tried to be helpful.

The facilities were "tired", we couldn't shut our door without locking it and hot water didn't work. The staff couldn't get the internet connection to work during our 1 night stay . There were many dogs, all friendly but sometimes you want to eat without them hanging around your feet ( staff did their best)

El personal es espectacular, el restaurante que tienen el la playa es obligatorio ir, la mejor comida (atún y calamar) de todo nuestro viaje. Merece la pena.

La instalaciones comunes están bien, la habitación aunque muy limpia está un poco anticuada, si bien los chicos están en plena remodelación de la habitaciones. Aún así recomendable 100x100. El mejor sitio al lado de la mejor playa de la zona

Très bon accueil, l'équipe est souriante, aux petits soins pour vous. La chambre est spacieuse, le lit est confortable. La piscine est grande. La plage est très proche. Tout était parfait.😊

Pas de pression dans la douche, un filet d'eau.
