Room was very clean and staff was super friendly.

Breakfast. This breakfast was way to many sweet things. i am diabetic and it was not friendly for me at all.

Room was rough. Bathroom faucet was loose, downspout in bath was not tightened, and wood was around the tile border, I think to provide a mounting surface for the curtain rod, instead of mounting it to the studs.

Great location, as we were there to see the Ark. Staff was incredibly friendly & very helpful.

Website said "hot" breakfast, but once we arrived was told it was "continental". Pillows were hard and flat. Some areas in the room & bathroom needed repairs, and the front door had no deadbolt.

Luckily I had no intentions of using the pool and read about it before going and still was like that when I got there, the breakfast is a continental breakfast, cereal, waffle maker, and muffins, which is good for most people, typically continental breakfasts are included with the price but since the site had me pay extra I was expecting something a little more.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good. My only negative is that the room is much smaller than it appeared online. Bathroom very small though had a good shower. Room just very small. Pool was not open, in fact looked as though it had not been open for a very long time. Location easy to get to and so very close to the Ark Encounter. Good for an overnight.

No pool available and bathroom so small I had to step into shower to get bathroom door closed.

When I booked, NEVER any mention of PET Charges!! When I’m checking in, she informs me of a $40 pet charge /night! She states that it’s the POLICY even though, nowhere stated or found when booking!

Air conditioning old and takes to long to remain cold. Water in shower not draining fast enough. But was resolved in a timely manner. Unit needs a total make over. Paint, new iron and board, lamps, telephone, tv, etc.

The room was very clean and updated. Very convenient location. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Our favorite part was having the door inside to conjoin with the room next to us. It was so helpful to be able to have my kids go back and forth between our room and my parents' room.

Only complaint would be the size of the bathroom and the shape of the shower/tub. The bathroom was too small, my husband wasn't able to shut the door while in there. Also, the tub floor was rounded and my son kept slipping and falling.

The property was very conveniently located across the street (however major restaurants were 2 Exits Dr. N. ) The room was extremely clean, and the staff were absolutely pleasant. The continental breakfast was delicious and went over and above most. I found the beds to be rockhard, so I did not get any sleep, but for those who like extremely firm beds, this place will work for you. The toilet area shower was very small, but the room is clean and I love that. There’s no carpeting on the floors. There is a great Mexican restaurant just up the hill.

The area outside has an old restaurant that’s closed with a fence around it. It is terribly unsightly.

Everything was good, staff was friendly and helpful, the location to the Ark Encounter was so nice, the toiletries were Dove brand, which I thought was a good touch, especially with the hotel being so close to the Ark.

Our room had a couple chairs that were really dirty.

Though this motel is right out of the 1960's it was clean and comfortable. The setting was a safe area some other guests even walked to the attraction. The website made it easy to find and to know what to expect. It's definitely a budget friendly hotel, near a large sightseeing attraction, but when the description is accurate there's no disappointment. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was kind. It was refreshing to find such accommodations so close to your destination at a price everyone can afford.

I would like to see a few upgrades to the entries, but just due to the wear and tear over the years. Still we felt completely safe during our stay.

We booked this hotel because it was across the street from the Ark. That night we even went into the "town" of Williamston and enjoyed it's quaintness. For dinner we crossed the street and ate at a beautiful and unique Mexican restaurant call the El Talisco. It was EXCELLENT!!! Such a great atmosphere with the feeling of HOME. The next morning, tho' we could walk, it was an extra hot season and rain was expected; so we drove. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and the breakfast delightful with fruit, oj, and hot waffles!

staff was very pleasant and helpful, the rate was good and we knew it was a budget stay, so we weren't expecting the Ritz! They room was very clean but it is an outdated facility.

the bathroom was very small, the door actually opened up mere inches from the toilet and bathtub making it hard to navigate showering and the toilet was very very wobbly.

This is a very cute little hotel, it was very clean and literally across the street from the ark! Unfortunately, the pool is under construction. And we went in July of 2026. The front staff was very sweet, and the breakfast was perfect. I would recommend this little place to whoever is visiting the ark!

I wish the pool would have been completed, that would have made it a perfect vacation!

Very clean room, quiet and right off the highway. Ark Encounter within walking distance. This place was nicer than the Holiday inn we stayed in the night before, and costed a lot less.

The location was excellent, especially if you’re visiting the Ark Encounter, since it’s just a short walk away. The hotel is simple but comfortable, the room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was basic but good enough to start the day.

The only inconvenience during our stay was that a tornado caused a power and water outage on our last day, so we spent most of the day without electricity or running water. While this was beyond the hotel’s control, it did affect our overall experience.

Window black out was suitable but security lights right outside of the window was bright and shined through. Neighbor kept getting into their car and starting it over and over….that was bothersome.

Nice breakfast, comfortable beds, great water pressure in shower, affordable room price and 3 minute walk to the Ark Encounter!

For what we needed the motel was perfect. As for the area near the hotel and Ark. They could use a couple more restaurants closer to the motel. Although Edwardo's pizzeria on North Main St was excellent! And El Jalisco Mexican restaurant has great authentic food.

The light outside the window was coming thru the sides of the shade in the room and would wake me up.

The clerk was nice.

It looked like there were long-term residents, and it was a low-income neighborhood. I would not feel safe. There were no amenities; they are demolishing the restaurant at the front of the property. The signage was not visible. The property picture online was not what it was actually like. I need a refund, but she could not give it to me because I booked through you.

Went to visit the Ark Encounter and due to Sunrise Inns location , I booked my stay and it's less than a minute drive. Very clean rooms and the staff were very gracious. Breakfast is served daily from 7am-9am. I would definitely stay there again.

Very close proximity to the Ark exhibit which was the purpose of our trip. The bed was very comfortable. Mini-fridge and microwave in the room. Easy room access. Property well-lighted. Updated interior. Keurig coffee pot with pods. Lots of channel options on the TV. Free wifi.

Noisy air conditioner. Walls were thin. A neighbor’s baby woke us up crying at 12:48am. While there was great water pressure in the sink and the tub, when you turned the shower on the pressure coming out of the small shower head was not great. To turn the water on in the tub/shower you had to pull on the fixture, and it felt like it was going to detach from the wall. Towels were small and scratchy. Pillows were small and flat. Other than waffles, there were no hot options at breakfast.

It could use some tender loving care. It was clean. There was broken floor tile going into the bathroom, shower curtain torn. Needing some updated furniture. Outside could be spruced up.
