The location for us was not good it’s in between two bars that blast music out until late at night if this doesn’t bother you then everything else was good and you will have a good stay

Noise. Way too loud. You are between 2 bars that blast music until 3 or 4 am in the morning so forget about sleeping.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like as such. The noise from the surrounding bars can be very loud at night but ear plugs are provided, part of the price you pay to be in such a central location.

Die Lage.

Leider sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war bei unserer Ankunft überhaupt nicht sauber. Auf dem Bett befanden sich Flecken und bereits nach einer Nacht bekamen wir Hautausschlag, weshalb wir den Verdacht auf Bettwanzen haben. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls in einem sehr schlechten und unhygienischen Zustand: Das Wasser stand dauerhaft, das Waschbecken war schmutzig und insgesamt war es sehr unangenehm, sich dort aufzuhalten. Zusätzlich waren überall im Zimmer kleine Ameisen, die sich im gesamten Raum verteilt haben. Unter diesen Umständen haben wir uns extrem unwohl gefühlt.

Sengen var ikke særlig komfortabel, og musikken fra de nærliggende barer var meget høj. Selv med ørepropper havde jeg svært ved at sove, og jeg fik derfor ikke ret meget søvn under opholdet. Det var desuden ærgerligt, at der kun var én håndvask til mange værelser, hvilket ofte medførte kø ved både håndvask og toiletter om aftenen omkring kl. 22.00. En anden mindre, men generende ting var, at mange gæster udefra benyttede toiletterne, når de var på baren ved siden af. Vagten greb ikke ind over for dette. Samtidig var toiletterne heller ikke særligt rene.

Extremely noisy due to discos and people, and hard to sleep at night. Common areas like toilets are not properly cleaned. The room is not cleaned by stuff when expected. Mediocre room, with only a bed inside. More than minimal.

위치가 깡패입니다. 주로 스노쿨이나 투어 많이하실텐데 물 뚝뚝 떨어지는채로 많이 이동하면 너무 힘들잖아요…! 왠만한 투어샵이나 다이빙샵은 다 걸어서 3-5분컷 느낌입니다. 스무스까페처럼 맛집도 바로앞이고. 맞은편에 있는 현지식당 진심 존맛이니꼭 가세요!! 여러번가세요!! 아침에는 약간 기사식당처럼 반찬밥 이렇게해서 팔고, 저녁에는 꼬치를 팝니다

방음이랑 청결… 엄마랑 둘이갓엇는데, 저희는 머리만 닿으면 자는 스타일이고 공항바닥에서도 자고 캠핑가서 노박도 많이하고 소음때문에 잠을 설쳐본적이 없어서 리뷰 보고도 괜찮을거라 생각했습니다.. 그거슨 경기도 오산. 첫날 잠 완전 설치고 환불 못받아도 다른데 변경하려고 알아다녀보기까지햇어요 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ (결국 바꾸진 않았지만) 앞뒤로 유명한 클럽들이 바로 붙어잇어서 주말에는 거의 새벽 두세시까지 시끄럽고, 4-5시부터는 닭이 엄청웁니다. 평일은 클럽음악이 12시쯤이면 잦아드니 혹 가실분은 평일에 가셔요. 청결도 저희는 그냥 괜찮은편이라 베드버그만 안나오면되지모 였는데, 바닥 청소상태, 커튼 청소상태가 좀 한숨나오더라고요… 흐린눈하고 지냈습니다.

Great location just around a grocery store and next to a ton of restaurants, only con is that it is loud with restaurant (karaoke) music but I was able to sleep through with my noise machine no issues. Staff are helpful and friendly. AC and water heater available. Theres also a small sari-sari store across for quick toiletry needs. They also sell grilled stuff at night. Clean. Would come back! Sardine run is a must 👌🏻

We really liked the location as we could walk to some great food spots as well as walk right onto the beach to see the sardine run! We appreciated the staff who organised our tours but also was very attentive when the earthquake hit North Cebu and made sure we was safe and informed. Definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Moalboal :)

It is very very loud and my husband and I are fairly deep sleepers. There was also constantly lots of ants in the room.

It is right behind a bar which the music is very loud till 2am or later. They do provide earplugs but sleep is disturbed. Bathroom is a little dated and could do with being spruced up.

It is really really loud. Don’t underestimate this. Another thing is, if you book with the shared bathroom, you share it with not only people from the hotel but also a lot of local people around the hotel from restaurants that get let in by the staff to use it. Felt some what like a public restroom.

Easy access, close to many restaurants, bars and dive centers. The room has a powerful air conditioner and good wi fi. Spacious bathroom with good warm water.

A few things that can be improved like the bathroom light that couldn't be turned off. Also the door when closed didn't quite isolate the sound outside. So if you are a light sleeper, do wear sound-killing ear plugs. The other thing that stroke with me was that, in some occasions, we saw this manager type guy kind of being rude or mistreating the staff, and that made us really unsettled. We saw at least 3 times.

My stay at Sunset Paradise Moalboal was simple and pleasant. I stayed in a room with two separate beds, even though I was traveling alone. The AC worked great, and the shared bathrooms were kept pretty clean. The only minor inconvenience was that there was just one sink outside the toilet rooms, so occasionally, there was a short wait to use it. There’s no on-site restaurant, but with your room key, you get discounts at several nearby places. Plus, with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance, finding a meal was never an issue. The location was perfect—I felt like I was right in the middle of everything, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and couples, and I’d stay here again!

Modern designed bedroom, good air conditioning, good location, enough space in the room, water filter, communal fridge, free coffee and tea, fair price, property did a good price for us from Moalboal to Cebu City.

Originally placed in room 1 which had mould on the ceiling. Staff solution was to “paint over it”. We then got put in room 5 and found stains on our towels. There were a few times were we had to keep asking for towels as they didn’t provide any when cleaning the room. The bathroom doesn’t match the modern design of the bedroom and resembles a prison cell as it’s just grey concrete all around with marks over it. Some staff were very helpful whilst others came across as rude. Attempted to hire a moped with them and they gave me one with a flashing engine light and empty fuel tank and told me I needed to top it up or it was extra to order another one in. They said they would sort it eventually and let me know. I didn’t hear back from them so I went elsewhere to rent one.

The bedroom was nice and clean. For a shared bathroom, it was also pretty clean. The location is in the middle of a busy street so it can be noisy at night but it didn't really bother me. They also provided ear plugs. Staff were very friendly. Great value for money. Thanks!

One of the shower rooms drain seems a bit clogged. 😅 I just avoided that one and used the other shower room.

Like every other review, I would say that the noise in the rooms is very very loud due to the 2 bars located next door. The music does go on till the early hours which is fun. We were also quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, dirt and hairs on the floor, and for some reason an endless stream of mini ants crawling the walls.

We didn’t realise it was in the heart of the bars/club of Moalboal so we could hear load music up until 2am. It didn’t bother us as much but if you like a quiet space I would not recommend. Our fault for not looking properly at the location. Perfect if you want to be very close to the night life!

The property is sandwiched between 2 bars with live music so it does get noisy at night but earplugs worked well for me.
