Footprint hostel is one of the my best place to stay in Udaipur because the city palace is near the lalghati's near and Gangaur Ghat and everything is near by the hostel. The location is great. The washrooms and the room were very clean. And they have the pet name Jojo he was very cute and well mannered.

Très bien placé, à quelques minutes à pied du Palais Royal et du carrefour névralgique du Jagdish Temple. Les chambres sont grandes comme la salle de bain. L'accueil est sympa, accessible aussi par WhatsApp. Le gérant cherche à vous rendre service que ce soit pour commander un tuk tuk ou une excursion vers le Raknapur Temple ou le Kumbalghar Fort.

Il n'y avait pas de cintres dans notre chambre, ce qui était compliqué pour déposer les affaires. Une bouilloire et un sèche cheveux seraient un plus. La propreté de la chambre est correcte, sans plus. La couleur des draps (pas très blanc ) pose question : ont ils vraiment été lavés ? De plus, vous n'avez pas de draps de dessus (comme dans beaucoup d'autres hôtels). Nous avons donc préféré utiliser nos sacs à viande. Mais le plus dommage fut le rooftop. Bien que ce dernier offre une main vue sur le Palais, il est assez sale : tables non lavées après un repas, coussins délavés et cadavres de bouteilles de bière de la veille. Une propreté journalière après utilisation ou très matinale serait vraiment bien. Enfin, la réalité des chambres ne correspond plus tout à fait aux photos du site de Booking. Elles ont dues être faites juste après les nouvelles peintures. Ah, et n'oubliez pas vos bouchons d'oreilles : vous êtes au centre ville.

Beds were comfortable and fridge was cold

Extremely noisey. Shower not cleaned. Party going all night. Horns blasting all the time. Cleaning truck parked outside the window at 5am after Holi festival and played loud music to get everyone up to help clean and we only had been asleep 1 hour due to party upstairs. The extremely loud constant noise just made it horrible. Also usually just get asked for passport upon arrive but after - huge travel day they made us fill out all these forms more than what we needed to get the indian visa??? Seriously! It was not necessary!

Rooms had a weird smell, despite extreme cold the hotel did not provide heaters, especially given off season, I could have gotten a better hotel at that price.

Do not prefer family room. Because the property did not provide towels, napkins anything.

Safety, guidance as tourist, comfortable stay, quite sweet neighborhood, view of city palace from balcony 😀... almost every place on walking distance..

It was very spacious and great having an ensuite with both rooms. A gift was given to us which was very generous and they were very obligingly and kind.

Just a short hot shower that was all.

After moving into the appartment everything was very good. I was allowed early check in, Krishna who manages the place was extremely reliable, excellent communication, courteous and respectful. I couldn't have wished for a better person to work with. Breakfast was included and also very nice. Anything that might have come up was addressed by the owner so thank you very much for that.I would stay here again!

The staff is very Cooperative and they make you feel like home. Their dog Jojo is the best company that you can get as a solo traveller.

This hotel is close to City palace. It could have provided more room services. I felt they charged more and room service not up to the requirement.

Las fotos no se correspondían con la realidad: estaba sucio y muy descuidado. El primer día bajamos a desayunar y no tenían ni una sola mesa preparada para sentarnos a tomar el desayuno. Tras comentarlo con el responsable, al día siguiente nos subieron el desayuno a la habitación, pero la mermelada que nos dieron llevaba caducada más de un año… Tuvimos que tirarlo todo a la basura e ir a desayunar a un lugar en condiciones. Nada recomendable.

The location is right on the center but not too noisy. There is a nice balcony. The bed was comfortable.

The room wasn't clean when we get there. We took out the dirty carpet and find out under much dirt. Two nights the ac stop working there is no fan. Two mornings the water was stop working, we needed to ask to turn it on. We got no breakfast as it say in the reservation There is 50 staps to the room. And the worse one night there were noise above us till 2am !!! Dragging chairs and tables on my head the ower said it's not from the place. It's can't be from other place.!

La posizione era ottima, zona molto tranquilla e vicina al centro. Bella terrazza dalla camera. La camera era grande, spaziosa e pulita, anche il bagno, e non puzzava come puzzano solitamente i bagni in India. Tutto ok :)

Da rivedere la pulizia dei ventilatori, sono pieni di polvere che sarà lì dal 1956 :D

Amazing location.

The attitude of the host wasn't the best. When we asked for late checkout, they said that wasn't possible and made us pay for an entire day. After paying for the next day, they told us they had other guests who wanted to check the room out in the evening and urged us to leave by 8 pm (after we had booked it for the next day). If that was the case, they could have just refused to accommodate us.

The staff was friendly and tried to help with whatever we needed. The location is very near to the Lake Pichola and other sights.

The room was dirty. The bedsheets had not been changed and had lipstick stains on them. Overall, the hostel was not well managed.

Location: it's off the main lane, which comes with lesser noise and fewer crowds roaming around. It is really a laid back, hassle-free hostel. Most importantly, it's rather an affordable option there is, and I hope it remains that way. Early check-in was a lifesaver. It should be practiced by other hostels too. The bed was nice, I found it wider than those in other hostels.

The dog! I like animals, but that small ball of a nightmare enters the rooms and starts barking and snatching footwear. The hall is full of its fur. If you are allergic, then you know what (not) to do. And the dog poops, too. Whenever it wants! The bathroom! It is okay to say the least. My request to refill the handwash never was fulfilled. The guests! Using your phones to speak loudly, setting up an alarm that wakes the entire block up in the morning is not something we should normalise. It's your temporary shelter, not your home. Some relevant signs need to be hung on the walls asking the guests to respect people's peace. The breakfast! My booking included free breakfast, but I did not want to bother them with that, considering how much I paid for my stay. And they showed no enthusiasm either. The kitchen needs to be cleaned more often.

The personal is really nice, they let me do check in before and always they was so pending about my request, the location is amazing, close to hot spots and the price was really good, all place so clean. I highly recommend this place if you are traveling alone.

We had a very spacious and clean double room. The hostel is good located in the center of Udaipur.

The breakfast facilities are rather simpel, on the coach near the entry.

It was a really nice experience to stay in a Foot Print hostel at Udaipur. The dorms and washroom were clean. The bed was also clean and very comfortable. A common kitchen is available for guests. The Staff and the owner were professional and helpful.

Everything was so perfect. From the check in to the check out,everything was so smooth and the staff was so so cooperative. They made our stay so comfortable. The rooms were so beautiful and the terrace🤌🏻too good. This was a safe place for girls and their friendly pet JoJo..haha loved him and kinda miss him. Would love to visit again and spend more time there.
