From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how private and peaceful the space was, an ideal retreat for couples looking to unwind and reconnect. It’s also super spacious, far more than we expected or what you see online! We found everything we needed, and then some. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay... or come back again and again. We genuinely loved everything about it. If you're looking for a romantic escape that blends comfort, style, and tranquility, this is it. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Jul 20, 2025The place is ideally located as in closer to the mall and the beach. It is peaceful around here. The room was very spacious, beautiful, and has everything you need and more. Probably the most beautiful you could find around Richards Bay especially at this price. The hosts are very kind and generous. Our experience was beyond amazing. Perfect pricing, perfect location, and peaceful place.

He's very helpful and just a few seconds away whenever you need any assistance from him,may it be with the stove,directions or recommendations of places to visit. The elephant pictures brings so much peace,I've never had such peaceful sleep in any accommodation like I had for the past 3nights. I'm happy and would go back any time should I want to.

Reviewed Dec 31, 2024The interior is gorgeous, room is very spacious makes the furniture arrangements be neat and lovely ❤️❤️. If only there was enough space outside a swimming pool will complete the look 🤞. What we saw on the pics it was exactly what we got in our room 😍.
It's not close to shopping mall if you don't have your own transport you must budget money for meter taxi.

Reviewed May 28, 2024Top welcome, the owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very tastefully decorated, with very comfortable bedding. The accommodation is well equipped, with everything you need to cook and prepare a good breakfast, coffee and other items are available. We enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the owners for their warm welcome. I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

Reviewed Oct 10, 2023The property was cleaned and refreshed…. 💐The bed was comfortable and clean, the couch comfortably…the bathroom was superb, Wi-Fi works properly, water was always hot even during loadshading 😍the mini- kitchen exceeded my expectations with full of all kitchen items, towels were clean and comfortable 🔥…..Everything was on point 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The DSTV on the smart TV was not working…maybe for those who would like to watch shows can be accommodated if they don’t have DSTV on their phones 🙏

Reviewed Aug 10, 2023We really enjoyed our stay at the Clifton home and would love to stay there again in the near future. The place is super neat, spacious and the decor is beautiful. We had everything we needed and our best was the gas stove so we didn’t have to worry about loadshedding and could cook anytime which is so amazing. The patio is stunning, we had our braai there and loved it. The neighbourhood is safe, very peaceful and all the places we wanted to go to were a few minutes drive. The hosts, Bernice and Grant both have lovely hospitality skills - they made us feel at home from day 1 and provided everything we needed throughout our stay. We can’t fault the Clifton home with anything and would recommend it to anyone, any day especially couples who want to get away from all the noise and go have some peace of mind, relax and bond.
