Wunderschönes kleines Hotel in Nuwara Eliya! Gemütliche, sehr saubere Zimmer! Die Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich und helfen gerne bei allen Fragen, geben Ausflugstips und verwöhnen die Gäste! Wir hatten Frühstück und Lunch im Hotel und Beides war sehr lecker!

Chambre confort et ambiance de l’hébergement sont sympa. Possibilité de choisir son petit déjeuné par mis une carte.

Hôtel excentré du centre ville mais idéal si on veut uniquement profité du lac. Limite de 5min d’eau chaude par jour pour la douche …

We had a really lovely stay. The property is beautiful and well maintained, and our room was large and confortable, with a very comfy bed. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options. The staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming and which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and a place we would happily recommend!

We loved this place! Was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka. The staff provided us with such a warm welcome and were so lovely and accommodating throughout our stay. The rooms and hotel in general were also stunning with great amenities and a super comfortable bed. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was also delicious including a variety of local and Western options. We would recommend for anyone to experience this place. We also loved the eco friendliness of the hotel - very impressive

The only tiny thing was pre ordering the breakfast the night before as normally it’s nice to decide the morning of, but we understand why 😀

Замечательный отель, удобное расположение, номера отличные, чисто и уютно, есть все необходимое, кровати удобные, за душевую кабину с по-настоящему горячей водой и "вкусной" косметикой добавила бы ещё +10 баллов). Вне номера все тоже уютно и по-домашнему, можно посидеть около камина, почитать или посмотреть телевизор. Завтраки - замечательные, нам очень понравилось. Персонал внимательный и заботливый, готовый во всем помочь, на прогулку предлагают гостям зонты.

Нет такого. Мы от отеля в восторге, пожалели, что не остановились на подольше.

Our favourite stay so far in Sri Lanka. Such a beautiful house and absolutely stunning grounds. So much attention to detail, a delicious breakfast and super friendly staff! We are already planning to come back.

De huiselijke sfeer in het hotel en de ruime schone kamers. Personeel was vriendelijk en dacht goed met je mee. Zo hebben we op hun aanraden onze bagage naar ons volgende hotel in Ella laten brengen terwijl wij zelf de de trein naar Ella namen. Dit scheelde een hoop gesjouw met bagage in de trein. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed.

The atmosphere and the owner’s hospitality

Muy buena ubicación, personal muy amable y desayuno muy completo. Como hacía bastante frío, la calefacción de la habitación fue un gran punto a favor. La habitación era muy acogedora y cálida, te hacía sentir como en casa. ¡Muy recomendable!

Stanza top, pulita, accogliente e climatizzata. Bagno fantastico, personale attento e disponibile, ottimo cibo.

Habitación súper cómoda, bonita y limpia. Buenas vistas desde la misma también.

Quizá su ubicación el único aspecto megativo ya que estaba un poco apartado del centro.

Great location. The breakfast selections are great and delicious food. They offered a healthy juice Kolakantha for free. The staffs are very friendly and very attentive. I will highly recommend to everyone. One of the best stay in Sri Lanka

Mooie ruime kamer met goed bed en heerlijke warme douche. Heerlijk ontbijt in de mooie bloemrijke tuin. Vriendelijke mensen. Jammer dat het maar 1 nacht was.

De beste locatie sinds 2 weken en met name door de sfeer en de verbinding met personeel. Als een echte gastheer was er veel contact met toelichting en oprechte interesse in ons. Een deel van de omzet gaat naar hulp aan met name scholing van kinderen die men op weg helpt

Comfy and welcoming. Very homely. Staff very friendly and breakfast good. Rooms were adequate and complete with a heater which was appreciated considering it was a cold couple of days compared to the rest of Sri Lanka we had seen. Location good.

Shower lacked hot water so I had a stone cold shower after my partner had got out.

Casa coloniale tenuta bene. La struttura è abbastanza pulita, la biancheria è colorata e non bianca ma ho visto stenderla dopo averla lavata. Il personale è super gentile e la colazione è molto buona.

Presenti alcune zanzare e la tavoletta del water è un po’ scomoda in quanto tendeva a chiudersi e non si manteneva aperta.

Un hotel muy acogedor. El personal muy amable y atento, nos dieron una habitación más amplia de la que habíamos pagado por disponibilidad. La cena y sobretodo el desayuno muy bueno. Sin duda se lo recomendaría a cualquier persona que esté en la zona.

La comodidad de las habitaciones y la cocina del restaurante.

Muchas escaleras.

Las personas que trabajan son muy amables. Cenamos y desayunamos allí y fue todo un acierto! La sopa de calabaza estaba deliciosa y el desayuno super rico, aunque no es barato. La habitación es correcta con baño correcto. La ubicación esta a 15 minutos andando o así del centro.

Se oyen muchísimo a los otros huéspedes por lo que el descanso no es el máximo.

A lovely stay- the staff here are so helpful and nice. They helped us get a ride to the train station when our Pick me didnt arrive and time was critical and then they arranged transfer of the adapter and charger that I left in the room. They really went ab ove and beyond- so helpful!! 5 stars from me!!

Quiero destacar la amabilidad y flexibilidad de los trabajadores. Muy buenas instalaciones y la comida exquisita.

No puedo decir nada negativo, pusieron todo facilidades. De hecho, tuvimos que salir a las 5am y nos dejaron el desayuno preparado.

La struttura ha un coffee shop ayurvedico. Abbiamo provato la colazione ayurvedica. Tutto ottimo. La camera è spaziosa e pulita. Bello il giardino.

Non abbiamo dormito bene a causa di un continuo rumore (non so se proveniente dalla struttura o da qualcosa vicino)

Personeel is heel vriendelijk en dacht graag mee. Kamer was erg schoon en alles was aanwezig. Het ontbijt was erg lekker. Je kunt tegen betaling ook lekker avondeten bij de accommodatie. De laatste dag wilde wij vroeg de trein nemen. Hierdoor hadden wij geen tijd om te ontbijten. De gastheer zorgde ervoor dat onze ontbijt verpakt en wel mee de trein in kon, zodat wij toch nog van het heerlijke ontbijt konden genieten. Wij konden onze tuktuk makkelijk op het terrein parkeren.

De accommodatie ligt ietsje verder van het centrum, maar dit was voor ons geen probleem.

Todo. El hotel es precioso, super acogedor, genera paz. La habitación enorme, confortable y limpia. Baño amplio, ducha genial también. El desayuno es a las carta para evitar desperdicio de comida, y todo estaba muy bueno (también el almuerzo). Personal super amable y cercano. Muy recomendable

Nous avions une chambre familiale, très confortable, pour une nuit. Ambiance calme et cosy, très agréable. Nous avons dîner sur place, c’était bon.

Camera confortevole e molto pulita. Personale molto gentile e cibo del ristorante ottimo! Molto apprezzata l'attenzione alla sostenibilità e il non utilizzo dove possibile di plastica.

Camera grande e spaziosa. Hotel a due passi dal centro. Nonostante le temperature basse della sera, l'hotel dispone di coperte pesanti, acqua calda e stufetta elettrica.

The staff were very helpful and friendly especially our host Ranjen who is exceptional at his job. He leaves no stone unturned when it comes to his customers needs during their stay in Nuwara Eliya

Struttura molto bella e curata sia internamente che esternamente (giardino molto carino anche se non abbiamo potuto approfittarne a causa del tempo). Colazione inclusa a scelta tra le proposte del menù.

Stanza un po' umida, soprattutto dopo aver fatto la doccia. L'hotel non è molto lontano dal centro, ma in città la sera le strade sono completamente buie il che rende più complicato il rientro.

What a warm welcome. Staff prepared a lovely meal. Rooms are very clean, good shower. Had a great time although short. First hotel without plastic and with solar panels. Solid wifi. Charming vibe with Seats and fireplaces and history of teafields.

The hotel is in an excellent location to walk into town or around Gregory Lake The staff were very welcoming, helpful and attentive. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we were expecting We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners at the hotel. The menu, food and service were excellent. We booked a Tuk Tuk driver via the hotel. He was reliable, accommodating and a good driver. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Rooms were huge and luxurious. Beds had blankets. Bathroom was also large and beautiful. We loved the generous amount of communal space including a fireplace, lounge and dining table. Would definitely stay again.

Many flies in the communal area when having breakfast. More than we would expect. Denied the use of card payment despite seeing others use card (not a major issue, just strange). Window didn’t close properly - cold (again not a major issue)

Guest house che sembra più un hotel che una guest house, sopra le aspettative, l'ambiente in generale. Letto e materasso comodissimo e camera bella ampia. Servizio colorazione e cena ottimi. Ci è po' piaciuta molto anche la filosofia dell' hotel attenti alla freschezza dei prodotti. Inoltre ci hanno consigliato il loro driver che ci ha portato fino a Kandy ed è stato un viaggio molto piacevole, ci ha raccontato diverse cose interessanti ed è stato super gentile fermandosi in molti luoghi solo per farci fare delle fotografie e ci ha aspettato durante la visita alla fabbrica del the. Consigliatissimo si chiama Chinthaka, allego foto del biglietto da visita che ci ha lasciato.

Very cosy, very cute, amazing kind people.

The staff were really friendly kind and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and healthy. The common facilities are really clean and accurate, our room was a little bit uncomfortable for the humidity and the smell of mold that is probably due to the climate. The bathroom itself would need renovation. All in all is a good choice in Nuwara, especially for the staff.

Nos encantó nuestra estancia. Es un hotel súper acogedor, con una energía muy especial. Desde el primer momento se siente que las personas que lo llevan ponen el alma y mucho cariño en lo que hacen. La atención fue excepcional. La persona que nos recibió estuvo siempre súper atenta a nuestras necesidades, con una amabilidad y una tranquilidad que realmente apreciamos. Incluso nos permitió quedarnos un tiempo adicional después del check-out, algo que agradecimos muchísimo y que demuestra la calidad humana de quienes están detrás del lugar. Todo el personal fue igualmente cariñoso, amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Te hacen sentir cómodo y bienvenido desde el primer momento. La ubicación es también excelente, en un punto estratégico de Nuwara Eliya, perfecto para conocer la zona. Y el ambiente del hotel es precioso, con sus chimeneas y esos espacios cálidos que se agradecen muchísimo en el frío de las montañas. Pero, sobre todo, nos llevamos el calor humano. Afuera hacía frío, pero dentro de este hotel encontramos una calidez que no se mide en grados. ❤️ Sin duda, es uno de esos lugares que recordaremos de nuestro viaje por Sri Lanka. We stayed here for one night so we could take the train from Nanu Oya to Ella. It was a rainy evening in Nuwara Eliya, the accomodation was perfect for this. Incredibly cosy rooms, with that colonial English feel. The ammenities were great. A very comfortable bed and bedding. The reception also has a fire place which is lovely and warm. The accomodation is a short walk to a great pub/ restaurant called Themparadu and to Lake Gregory and the gardens surrounding it! The staff were so kind and friendly!

Anji the butler is just wonderful. Beautiful location, fabulous views from the balcony of Lion Rock. Very welcome swimming pool, and a special place. Beautiful rooms, felt very spoilt!

Le staff était à l’écoute et attentif à nos besoins. Les chambres confortables et les « salons » partagés permettent de vraiment profiter du lieu et rendre l’expérience très agréable ! Le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient très bons.

L’insonorisation entre les « salons » et les chambres laissait passer du bruit.

Samen met mijn vriend hier verbleven. Het is een mooi gebouw en de kamers zijn erg netjes en schoon. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn heel vriendelijk. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf.

La stanza è curata nei minimi dettagli, il bagno comodo e funzionale. Bellissime le zone comuni con il camino, divani e tavolo grande. Colazione ottima e varia. Staff gentilissimo e sempre disponibile.

Un po’ lontana a piedi dal centro. Per il resto una struttura da consigliare.

Struttura super accogliente, camera fantastica e confortevole, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Il cibo è fantastico, dovreste assolutamente provarlo.
