IJM Condostay, Sandakan

Logement spacieux, idéal pour les familles. La piscine était accessible pour nous (nous étions au bloc b, pour les autres logements je ne sais pas). Process d'arrivée facile et bien détaillé. Endroit calme. Endroit sécurisé avec barrières à l'entrée Endroit propre. excellent rapport qualité prix. De nombreux Équipements présents.

Communication avec le propriétaire assez difficile, les infos arrivent tardivement. Odeur de renfermée dans la maison. Pas d'eau chaude dans la douche parentale mais la seconde douche était ok. Loin du centre de sandakan. Les serviettes sont belles mais peu efficaces dans leur faculté à se sécher.

The check in process was unpleasant because the person in charge failed to provide sufficient information, leaving us unable to access the unit. It took several calls before we finally received a response (it was Sunday). Due to the hot weather, we were exhausted and drenched in sweat; we were forced to carry our luggage back down to the car and go to a cafe to rest. Even after we finally managed to contact, the person in charge didn't take the initiative to apologise. Further more, the place to get the key is at another condo nearby, if guests go there by grab or taxi, not convenient indeed. Inside the unit, there were noticeable cobwebs; a used towel in the wardrobe; the wooden dining table was a bit wobbly, as were two of the wooden chairs, and the sofa had torn upholstery. One of the mattresses is too soft and slopes to one side when sleep on it. The landlord also provided a dilapidated, warped, and wobbly ironing board that was unusable. Additionally, the water pressure was weak.

Assez loin du centre de sandakan Et surtout la complexité pour récupérer la clé , les Airbnb et homestay ne sont pas les bienvenus dans la résidence , et ça ce sent un peu !

Ubicacion, esta lejos de todo.... Asi es Sandakan, tiene zonas residenciales, centro, puertito etc,y te mueves en grab a los sitios....

Era un apartamento espacioso, y la piscina muy bien.

Cocina poco equipada, una cama rota, las toallas horribles, y se veia que todo era muy viejo.

Rien : sale vétuste mal entretenu , obligé d’attendre avec la chaleur qu ´on vienne nous donner les clefs alors que j’ai prévenu de mon heure d’arrivée On est prévenu la veille que nous n’avons pas accès à la piscine Cette personne à plusieurs logements dans cet HLM et on est visiblement tombé sur le plus mauvais Plus jamais

Mieliśmy mieszkanie na parterze z balkonem, do którego zepsuty był zamek. Zgłosiliśmy ten fakt od razu po przybyciu, a właściciel nic sobie z tego nie robił. Jedyne co powiedział to ze możemy poszukać sobie innego apartamentu i wtedy odda nam kasę. W szczycie sezonu ciężko znaleźć coś dobrego, a poza tym nie po to rezerwowaliśmy z wyprzedzeniem apartament, żeby na miejscu tracić czas na przeprowadzki, zwłaszcza ze mieliśmy już inne rezerwacje. Odradzam apartamenty u tego właściciela, bo wyglada na to ze jest oj zainteresowany tylko kasą i nie jest zainteresowany naprawianiem swoich apartamentów.

nous avons été toute la journée harcelés par deux numéros de téléphone pour avoir l’heure de notre arrivée. C’était insupportable. Par la suite, lorsque nous sommes arrivés, l’appartement et l’extérieur étaient infestés de cafards, c’était pas possible pour nous de rester sur place. Nous avons donc refusé de prendre les cles de l’appartement. Nous devons nous trouver un autre logement en urgence pour ce soir alors qu’il est 19h. Merci de faire le nécessaire

Facilities like Aircond units are not working properly (not cold)

The unit is VERY spacious and suitable for large families or groups. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is a playground just outside, which is convenient for families with children. For the price paid, it offers VERY basic accommodation and reasonable value if you are simply looking for a place to stay.

The condominium management appears to discourage Airbnb guests, with notices stating that Airbnb is not welcomed. This created an uncomfortable feeling, as though we were not supposed to be there. We were advised not to use the condominium swimming pool and not to tell the guards that we were Airbnb guests, which further contributed to an awkward experience. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes during our stay. The water heater temperature was unstable, fluctuating between hot and extremely hot, making it difficult to shower comfortably.

The master room water pressure very low. 1st room bed spring have problem. And pillow got same smell and not comfortable. Living room aircond got dirty a bit. I told my booking is at ijm condon, last2 is at utama condon there

The house is clean, comfortable and very satisfying.

Love the house is clean and really makes you feels like at your own home. The place is quiet, calm and convenient. Nearby shops and restaurants.

There is some technical issue during the check-in process. Need to really understand the instructions. But, everything is good. The owner helped us until we safely checked in on time.

Airbnb/homestay guests weren’t allowed. The management even pasted a post saying “airbnb/homestay guests are not welcome here”, but why the host still proceed to open for customers, we feel so uncomfortable with this matter. Other than that, no parking for us, parking was used by other car, and we need to park outside and walk far to reach the unit. The host also is very unresponsive, our chat on WhatsApp was only seen.

C'est un appartement très spacieux avec 3 chambres, avec une piscine extérieure commune très agréable.

La cuisine ne permet pas de cuisiner. Un peu en dehors de tout. Pas de commerces à proximité.

Tempat simpan kunci tidak sesuai .di beranda rumah orang lain dan kami terpaksa panjant sikit balcony tu.. takut jugak .. nampak macam nak pecah masuk apartment orang..

Ruang yang besar, luas dan selesa. Semua bilik dan ruang tamu ada aircond. Peralatan rumah yang lengkap. Wifi disediakan dan laju. Private parking disediakan dan kawasan yg selamat. 3 bilik dan 2 bilik air untuk harga ni sangat berpatutan dan sangat murah. Penginapan berdekatan dengan Bataras. Owner sentiasa membantu dan senang dihubungi. Bagi 100 star untuk penginapan dan owner ni. Akan repeat semula.

I like the location. It is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants in IJM. There are three rooms, which can accommodate up to seven people. The instructions for collecting the keys are clear.

It was not clean enough. Flat is big and good, but a deep cleaning and a reconstaction would be necessary to meet my standards from Europe, without beeng picky.

Het is een ruim appartement. De bedden liggen oké. Fijn dat er een wasmachine is.

We voelden ons zeer onwelkom door de posters waarop stond dat het verhuren voor korte verblijven niet toegestaan is. Er stond letterlijk: 'You're not welcome here'. De badkamer voelde niet schoon en er was een muffe geur bij binnenkomst in het appartement.

Très bien. Le logement était très propre et spacieux. Il y’a de nombreux équipements. Je recommande !

Best location, near to food & shopping

The bed in one room is really uncomfortable. It made loud sounds even by just sitting on it edges. The bedding base need serious maintenance.

By far the worst experience whilst using booking.com. Surely this host should be removed from the platform. After booking and paying a non refundable two night stay, you are sent the check in instructions. First you have to go to another appt block 600m up the road, sign in at security to "pick something up". You are then instructed to climb over a ground floor balcony to retrieve the key from a lockbox, I did not feel comfortable about this. Then you are expected to lie to security, saying are just "visiting" and make no mention of hotel/homestay. Then you are confronted by the sign in the elevator which made me feel that I was doing wrong, I assume it is against the HOA rules. Within an hour of our stay the water to our unit was shut off, I messaged Winnie, our host and got very little response from her, she didn't come over to see what the problem was and I had no one to help there as we weren't supposed to be there. We couldn't shower or even flush the toilet. By the next morning, I had to organize another hotel as we couldn't stay any longer without water and Winnie just told me it was not her fault or problem. After initially saying she would refund our second night, she just ignored me. Book here at your own risk!

We had a great stay at this homestay! The bathroom, kitchen, and living room were all very clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. Everything was comfortable.

There was a bit of dust behind the curtain and windows, and unfortunately, my sister had a mild allergic reaction because of it.

We found 2 large cockroaches in the apartment. The place is also worn out and needs some upgrades. The key is a bit hard to get as you need to hoist yourself on the balcony and take it out of the lock box

Kitchen was very basic - but no issue for us as we ate out all the time. Getting the key to start with was a little fiddly.
