The bathroom fan turned on too quickly after the light was and stayed on for too long after. It was quite annoying to try and sleep when the fan felt like it was constantly on

Communication was great and check in was very smooth and easy. Plenty of parking. Almost always got something right outside so I wouldn't let the lack of a dedicated car park put you off. Would definitely stay here again!

Reviewed Jan 9, 2026Lovely apartment in a great location to the City Centre (10 minutes walk or 2 minute Scooter ride). I really liked all the small touches which made the stay even easier/more enjoyable, such as a washing machine (with powder available), dishwasher, oil for cooking, carton a milk in the fridge on arival for coffee etc. The bed is also comfy and there is a nice outdoor area to sit. I would highly recommend this place if visiting Christchurch.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2025Loved our stay in the City Pad apartment. I was travelling for work and it provided a very comfortable space for me to be in for the days I was there. Very clean, bed was comfortable & nice outdoor area. Our host Jason was friendly and responded promptly to questions/ requests. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed to cook a home cooked meal. The host also provided washing powder for the washing machine which was much appreciated. Everything was in walking distance which was great also. Great cafes and restaurants close by too. Highly recommend the citypad Studio.

I could also barely hear any noise outside or next door which was great. Jason the owner was very helpful, too. Overall a wonderful experience.
There was a piece of hair in the shower room. The fan was a little loud.

TV difficult to use. Although Netflix and Prime were available you couldn't watch normal TV or on demand no matter what I tried. Needs clear instructions if this is available.
